I have been coming here for about three months, and i love it. Every masseuse is different and it totally depends on what you need. I have a lot of knots from working out and stress, so its really important that I have a trigger point massage which Jasmine is the best at. If you want a "relaxing massage" where your not really in pain I would recommend Julie. If your looking for a strong masseuse then I would recommend Connie or Moi. My only compliant is that if you don't ask for them to massage your shoulders or just certain parts of your body then they won't just do it. I feel like shoulder is a common area for people to want a massage so I don't know why they wouldn't just include that in the massage even if you don't ask. My recommendation is be very specific with what you want, if you don't communicate with them on what you are trying to get out of the massage then you probably won't feel that you go what you wanted out of it. It is nice to feel relief from the ache I get from tight muscles and tendons, a result of being on my feet constantly. Recommended by the sign at the front desk. = THE EXPERIENCE = - Shoe removal at the front, they provide house slippers - Receptionist is so endearing and hospitable! - Relaxing lobby (all it's missing is a water fountain!) and beautiful decor - Great choice of ambient, tranquil music -Fill out a form with where you'd like them to focus (they really pay attention to this, which is great!) - On the form you can request Easy, Medium, and Deep pressure. - You can hear the people in other rooms - the rooms are separated by large dividers that don't touch the ceiling. I was able to make an appointment really quick for the same hour! As others indicated it is off of the strip mall next to Mitsuwa store. Walk in and you have to take your shoes off and wear their slippers and the reason is the masseuses are bare feet and they come on top of the bed. I am a little OCD so personally I don't like to wear slippers that don't look washable and the thought of other people wearing the same slippers bothers me a bit. ;) The massage however was WONDERFUL and I truly enjoyed my deep tissue massage and Katie my masseuse really worked through my tissues to the point of pain and now I feel great! The one star less is just because this place was loud! The rooms are semi private in a sense that there are walls but they don't go all the way to the ceiling and you can hear all the conversations next to you and that is ok if they make it clear to their customers to keep it quiet! The two people next to me were loud and one of them was talking non stop! I mean non stop to the point that I had to ask Katie to let her know to keep it low. If your first pick like Sara is not available, the next good ones to me are Nid and Noi. Sara is definitely a pro. She should be named the Knot Buster! That's how good she is. This is not a light relaxing massage. This is an intense stretch out out, work out your knots place. It's s strip mall place, not a resort vibe. The rooms are kind of just ok for what it is. So I've never had a Thai massage. I wasn't quite sure what to expect and knew I was very ticklish in my lower back. The massage was amazing. The pressure was spot on and I didn't feel like it was too hard given someone is walking on you. Found my latest go-to massage place! I'm always looking for the next best massage, specifically Thai massage. I've been training and fighting Muay Thai for a decade and the training can be intense. In addition to the daily stresses of life, I've found Thai massages to be the most therapeutic. I'm stoked I found Tranquility, thanks to Yelp! Currently, their special offer is really hard to beat... haven't found a place that can match the price and the experience of therapists. For just $45, you can get a one-hour massage which include hot stone. And for 90-minutes, it's just $65!! Crazy deal. I'm serious. The other massage places in the area charge about $60 and up for a one hour Thai massage and they're not even as great! All the therapists at Tranquility are amazing but my is Nid... she's amazing. The place is clean and nicely decorated with a hint of Thai culture. Parking is limited but they do have 2 or 3 spots that are designated specifically for Tranquility. Little massage joint adjacent to the the Mitzi was market place. I was recommended this place by a friend who lives in Irvine. After a long week, my back was killing me and we were supposed to hang out so my friend suggest we go there before hitting dinner. After a 2 second consideration, I say yes. Getting there, it's just your typical Thai massage place, nice little vibe with bamboo and wooden walls everywhere. You got that weird little smell at the entrance too which I'm used to after hitting all those different other Thai massage places. So we get treated by the cashier who tell us to take off our shoes and switch them for their flip flops. After that, we are directed to the back where we each get our own rooms. The masseuse dims the light and tell me to strip to my underwear and get under the sheets. So I do. As I lay there thinking it's gonna be awesome, the masseuse starts without any introduction, almost as if rushing thru the process. She starts digging pretty hard without much warning thru the thin sheets that she got me covered up with. She continues with the oil massage. I get that Thai massages are supposed to dig in your muscles and such for this one was definitely not paying too much attention to how tough or how certain areas could be more sensitive cuz I was twitching on a lot of spots.l but she kept going and never even asked if it was ok.... pretty much I felt like I was stuck thru this torture almost. She didn't even focus on the area that I mentioned was the problem spot. I had the reiterate at the very end after which she started to focus on a little more for may be like 5 mins. The hot stone comes in before the end but it was scorching hot as the masseuse was trying to cool it down on my back. Once everything was over, she walked out and just said thank you. Overall, I'd give this place a 2.5/5 stars due to the fact that for a massage place which is supposed to provide more relief than anything, I was still hurting with some knots still in my back after the session. The hot stone was more so used as a promotional advertising than a relaxing tool for the customers. Gotta give it to the masseuse Thi, she's strong and got some good hands but definitely will need to work on her customer satisfaction and problem. I'd say, if I needed to get a massage bad, I may come back but otherwise I'll try something elsewhere due to the fact that I did experience better. Love this place when I'm in pain. Definitely not a relaxing massage. More like one that works out your problem spots

Unfortunately, my experience was just above average and not as good as the other guests. J would give a 3.5 star. I had a lot of good Thai massages in Costa Mesa but I was disappointed with my first time here. The masseur was not efficient with her time her technique was not typical the Thai massage I had in other places. The massage was not strong enough & covered all areas and sometimes I wondered If she knows what she was doing. What's more, when she raised my legs up to turn, the sheet didn't cover my body, I can feel the air and feel that I would be exposed if someone walks in. Lastly, as she left the room at the end of the session, she didn't pull the curtain completely leaving a few inches of space between the curtain and the door. I had to jump out to pull the curtain before I got changed. I shared part of my experience with the lady at the reception and she thinks my last massage was good because it was done by my make masseur. I think the techniques were totally off. I would probably come back to try other masseurs to give this place another chance but there are other I would like to try or I would come back to the other place on Fairview near Harbor intersection just to be sure. read more
