Went for a 90-min Thai massage today - overall the massage was pretty decent but the disappointment came when they didn't honor their published "Special" on their website which was supposed to be an upgrade to CBD massage oil for massages before 3pm. The Masseuse said that was an old special and that she would have to let the owner know that it's still on the website. What a bunch of crap! That was one of the reasons I decided to book a massage at this place. Absolutely incredible massage by the owner Sara!!! It is very easy to tell she is so experienced and her technique is amazing. She has strong knowledge of muscles and the body. She got all the right spots, informed me of all the knots I had developed, and provided some exercises to loosen these knots over time. She took great efforts to ensure each muscle group was attended to. I initially got a massage here last week from another masseuse, and was not thrilled with my experience. Sara immediately contacted me, called multiple times to get a hold of me, left a VM, and inquired about my experience. She offered to give me a complimentary massage to make up for it. I took her up. I happened to view the Yelp reviews today of Tranquil Thai Massage. I saw two really bad reviews in a row that caught my eye. Jon W and Alex V are obviously the same person and it is likely that he was asking for something unprofessional or illegal which triggered his negative reviews. My experience with Tranquil Thai Massage has been extremely positive. They are professional and their therapists are exceptional. The massage rooms are somewhat open which can impact your relaxation a little bit. Otherwise, it is a very clean and well decorated establishment. I've been going to Tranquil every other month since they opened. I've been extremely happy with my experience every visit. This is a small business located in the same parking lot as 7-Eleven. Parking can be an issue if you attempt to go during business lunch hour. There are a couple small restaurants in this same plaza and parking is very limited. I would suggest going early in the morning for early bird specials. Avoid the 12-1:30pm lunch rush. I don't ever ask for one specific masseuse, seeing as every person I've seen had been outstanding. This is definitely not a relaxing massage, if you've never experienced a Thai massage here are some disclaimers. First, a Thai massage happens to be my favorite because of my personal health needs. In a Thai massage the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked rather than rubbing on muscles. So be prepared for a yoga style massage if that makes any sense. If you want a massage for stress relief or relaxation go elsewhere and get a Swedish massage. Second, I love the costumer service and the friendly staff. They offer you a storage space to place your shoes when you arrive and a pair of slippers to use for the walk over to your massage room. I never wear the slippers because I just don't like the idea of sharing shoes with other people. I'd rather walk barefoot to the room which is probably just as unsanitary but it makes me feel more at ease. Third, given that this place is very small be aware that they have about 8 massage rooms tightly squeezed into their layout. Each room is enclosed with a thin curtain, therefore, people talking and sounds will echo into the other rooms. If you don't want to sit through a massage where you'll probably hear the masseuse and their guest talking in the next room this place isn't for you. Ultimately this place has a wonderful early bird special, they are across the street from my house, all of their massage therapists are really good at what they do and I've never left this place with a bad experience. read more

Took my bf here as a part of his bday present. It was $180 for a 90-minute couples massage which is pretty decently priced. Asked for a light massage and still received a good amount of pressure. I always feel like 60-minutes aren't enough so I decided to try the 90-minute for the first time and it was perfect. What I saw of the place was very clean and well organized. The staff was very sweet and had gentle relaxing voices. They are very cautious with COVID so it made me feel better about cleanliness. They have a tipping guide posted to help gauge what is a "good tip" for your masseuse. Oh my gosh! This place is so much YAAASSS! I slept funny the night before coming here and woke up to excruciating pain in my left shoulder. I couldn't even look down at my desk to work, so I gave this place a call at 10 a.m. and came in as a walk-in. They make you take off your shoes when you enter and they give you slippers to walk to you room. The first part of my 60 minute massage consisted of the masseuse walking on top of me. I'm wasn't a huge fan of that but whatever. My masseuse asked me what area I wanted her to focus on and she really got into it. The second part of the massage was amazing. She got all the knots out. It really friggin hurt but it was so worth it. Don't come here for nice and relaxing soft massages. Come here for pain management. The third part of the massage, she had me roll over to my sides so she can get my neck areas better. I think that part was the most painful but it instantly cured my pains! I was in and out of there in exactly an hour. Got back to work and was ready to work without the pains! They charge $2 for credit card payment so bring cash if you can. I called at 10:00am right when they opened and asked for the next available appt. Woke up with a tension headache and chills because my upper back and neck was super sore. I was told to come at 10:30am. Jay was my masseuse and she gave me a 120 minute healing session! She was very communicative, always checking in with me to see if the pressure was okay. I had some very deep knots and she was able to work through them, guiding me on when to take deep breaths in and out. She was super strong but also extremely gentle at the same time, keeping in mind how I was doing. I came to this place after a super stressful at work. I came in with tense mussels and super stressed out body and mind, and left left with a relieved, calm and relaxed feeling. The lady who gave me the massage was very compassionate and kind. There was no talking during the massage and that's exactly what I needed. She used some interesting techniques using her body to put pressure on the tense areas and stretched my mussels and gave me positive energy. At the end, she wished me luck and a good night sleep. I have been coming to Tranquil Thai Massage for a few months and would highly recommend this place. As an athlete, I've tried several types of massage therapies and Tranquil Thai is the best in OC without a doubt. I came to TTM multiple times after feeling intense pain and sore need from my workouts. I train in Muay Thai and Krav Maga in addition to lifting regularly and no amount of chiropractor or Swedish massage appointments have been able to effectively alleviate my lower back and muscle pain. Her name is Lisa by the way and she was excellent. Now I would give this 5 stars for the excellent job but the music stopped in the middle of a song while I was getting a massage and there was a lot of loud talking between clients and masseuse in the hallway.
