We had the princess salad, linguini in white clam sauce, Buffalo chicken pizzetta, seabass oreganata and cavatelli con salsiccia. The food was on point. Everything was seasoned well and the pasta cooked al dente. The best dish was the seabass oreganata as the fish was moist and the oreganata was flavored to perfection. Cute cozy restaurant. Me and my friend ordered a ton of food. We had plenty to take home to go. The pizza was good. I'm not a fan of pizza but here was good. The pasta were so creamy and delicious. I loved the the shrimp pasta. My friend got the chicken parm without cheese. It was my first time getting parm without the cheese. She loved it. So it worked out for us. Our waiter was so sweet. Went for dinner with my wife on a Saturday night. Dinner started well with delicious appetizers. We ordered the Frito Misto which was more than enough for two people. I was absolutely delicious. Dinner went downhill from there. We waited at least 45 minutes for dinner to come out and when it arrived, it was barely lukewarm? I had a fish dinner which was obviously over cooked and dried out. Its the best Italian in the neighborhood. Everybody knows this. Its always packed. Reservations advisable. Frito mixto and calamari app are great. Pastas are great. The Chianti by the glass is solid. Service is fast and smooth. The waiters and busboys are pros. Bathroom is clean. read more

This restaurant is just okay. The complimentary bread is fine, served with pre-packaged frozen butter. We were a bit disappointed that pizza was not available on the holiday. As for our meal- the lasagna was unfortunately underwhelming despite the waiter recommending it. The Farfalle alla 35 was decent- the sausage was good and the mozzarella was refreshing. Came here for our anniversary on a lovely spring evening after passing by it for so many years on Bell Blvd! The brick oven pizza is done nicely, with a very lovely fermented pizza dough, medium thin crust, 10". Good amount of mozzarella cheese with the spinach and sausage, which tastes homemade with a bit of carrot mixed in. The sauce tastes homemade as well, light and sweet with some crushed tomatoes. Excellently balanced pizza! I ordered the Amalfi entree, which had broccoli rabe sauteed with garlic, cherry peppers, over grilled chicken breast. Another well balanced dish. The cherry peppers give a bit of tartness and spice kick, and the chicken has that great charred grill flavor. The potatoes are well seasoned (resembles cajun style) but not salty. My wife ordered today's seafood pasta special, which was homemade pappardelle pasta with grilled shrimp, calamari, clams, scallops, crabmeat, served with arugula and cherry tomatoes. Garlic and oil. 10/10 would highly recommend! Enough seafood to have some in every bite. Large shrimp that retains the charred grilled flavor. The portions were large, so we had some leftover. We still tried the tiramisu at a friend's recommendation, which was alright. I ordered coffee to pair with the dessert, which came in a huge cup and tasted good. The food was absolutely delicious!! I had the Chicken Martini as the main course. The chicken was very tender & the sauce was amazing. I had the Zabaglione for dessert which was superb. My Aunt had the Linguini Mar Bello which she said was so good - she was full but still kept eating because she was really enjoying it. My niece had the Trofie Basil Pesto which she just loved. The restaurant was quite packed by the time we left at 8pm The wait staff were absolutely attentive to all the customers. Bill was an excellent Host. He walked around the restaurant to all the tables talking to all the customers. Overall, it was a great atmosphere & felt very welcoming. Was one of our favorite local restaurants, but hadn't visited since Covid and our move to Westchester. Went back yesterday for a family gathering. Thrilled to see it's as good as ever. 3 stars, so close yet so far. Love Italian restaurants, I saw the menu and pictures for this spot and decided what the heck. It's a going to be a carb filling date night. Had reservations prior, valet took my car no issues there. The valet person, was actually a really down to earth guy. Went in, got seated by the host and started to look at the menu once again to see if we changed our mind; nada. Chicken parm & Al La vodka. The chicken parm, was as expected amazing. The crust, so thin and never. Icing from the chicken itself. The pasta, on the miss side for sure. Genuinely tasted very generic, now it wasn't bad. It was just regular, something you can find elsewhere. We had vanilla ice cream after, now that was really the start of the whole night. The service, after meeting the valet and the host, they were both great but brief interactions. My server, I spoke to him once when he asked what we'd like, then I had to flag him down for the bill. Now I'm no one to withhold a tip, the benefit of the doubt being he may have been busy. But there was no attention placed in my table. Not even a walk by asking if everything is alright. That alone, takes 2 stars off immediately. Take away - there's better, in bayside and in queens. Take the trip to little Italy, same priced menu items with a much more cozy and warm feeling. Family ordered a catering order for a birthday dinner. The calamari was good but ended up a little soggy, thinking our host left the cover on the tray too long. There was regular marina sauce and what was supposed to be a spicy sauce. I tried the spicy which wasn't spicy at all but the flavor was good. *MOLD ALERT*!!!! Ordered takeout from here this past Saturday. I ordered four pasta dishes, one of them being spaghetti with meatballs. After my two young children and I were eating for a few minutes, I noticed a discoloration in the spaghetti. The picture is just a small sample of what the spaghetti looked like, almost all the spaghetti had this in it. I told my kids to stop eating and I promptly called the restaurant. The manager asked for a few minutes while he spoke with the head chef. After returning to the phone, all he kept saying was "You should not eat that". He wouldn't answer any of my questions, such as what it is. I figure they looked at their stash of spaghetti (obviously precooked and not fresh) and can see what caused it. But he kept stating not to eat it and ask what I wanted. I said I obviously should not pay for this and he refunded me, only for the spaghetti and meatballs. The next day it still was not sitting right with me, so I went to the restaurant. Another manager on duty said it was just burnt, and that's what it looked like from the picture. I told him I saved the dish and I brought it in for their head chef to examine. The head chef said it was just smoke dust from the frying pan and this is the first instance this has happened. I said if it was smoke dust, why is it only in spots and why has it never happened before like you stated. They would not own up to it and just kept repeating that we have nothing to worry about and it is just smoke dust. I was not going to post anything but the complete disregard of our health and the fact that they would not admit any wrong doing has left me no choice. Started off with this one waiter (heavy set guy) he really did not want to work. He took our drink and appetizers orders. Vanished for a while and shows up after a while but doesnt come to wait our table for a while. He avoids eye contact. Another waiter realizes this... he comes over and takes our order. Appetizers come out and theyre great no issues... but our food doesnt come out for 40+ minutes and once they do come out the food is horrible. Some of the dishes are dry and others were salty... No clue whats wrong with this establishments kitchen staff but the group could see the wait staff were struggling because of them. No complaints about the 2nd waiter. We shared the baked clams, escarole & chicken soup, and the linguine mare bello sautéed in fra diavolo (spicy tomato sauce - SO GOOD). The portions are huge, although the baked clams are on the small side and the breadcrumbs were overpowering. So tonight I and two friends went to Trattoria 35. The waiter was so so. I ordered a Rum and Coke, Caesar Salad,Chicken Parmigiana. I then asked the waiter NO BAISl. PLEASE, I'm deathly Allergic, and do not feel like going to the hospital tonight. The salad comes it goes. Then the Chicken Parmigiana comes and my waiter is no where to be found. I then asked another waiter to tell me what this green is in my dinner. The waiter says its basil! I explained that I'm deathly allergic to basil. The new waiter then says he will have the dish re made. At this point I take 2 bites of the new dish and decide to take it home. Finally our original waiter comes back no apology no nothing! I have a sorbet and coffee. Still no apology. Now I used to come with my family once a week till the restaurant until Covid. We loved the food.
