Ive bought from trax 3 times now and 2 out of those 3 times traxnyc has either not Hallmarked my jewelry at all or did it but its not legible. For example I got a big silver ring and it wasn't even like there sample photos the back was hollow on the ring ! Where as the sample photo was not hollow. As well my big silver ring had not stamps on it, didn't say trax didn't say 925 or anything. Fast forward, I get a smaller silver ring for my girlfriend and this ring looks like the sample photo, this time it came with no gia certificate as well as most importantly the 925 Hallmark is hardly a 92 and I can barely read that. This is not top quality go to jacoje or Hawaiianropechain. Ive personally never shopped there but it must be better than this. I do not recommend trax for the price point. And they ship with FedEx who I absolutely loath and they require a signature and you cant edit delivery options and FedEx typical estimate delivery is "by end of day" I cant stay home all day im and adult. read more

This is my fourth purchase with Trax and the customer service never ceases to amaze me. It was about 9pm west coast time when I got on chat regarding a possible chain upgrade for my pendant. I spoke with Marcus, I had questions whether the change would fit my pendant and how the thickness of the chain would look. Marcus checked my past orders to see the pendant, but unfortunately they no longer have it in stock. He gave me his word he would hit me up the next morning when they opened with pictures of a similar pendant. True to his word at 9am he texted me the photos of the chain on a pendant similar to mine. Angle told me the best price was 2k, I asked if you can do 1,900, he said " no because 1,900 turns to 2,000 with tax and fees". I later in the week checked my Affirm budget to buy the sunglasses and it was 2,200. I called Angle telling him I can put the entire purchase on affirm. He said " great, we can do the entire total for 2,200". I said " but you said 2k including everything" he said " okay fine I don't recall 2k but for you I'll do 2k to gain a relationship". I said" I'll come Friday" firstly I didn't like how he sneakily try to get an extra $200 out of me because I told him my affirm budget was 2,200. I went yesterday after work ( Friday). I met with with angel he made the invoice and told me the total would be 2K but when I checked, it was 2100. He said the price did not include the fees and tax but yet multiple times he has said the price includes fees and tax in the past . I ordered an exact order that I previously had that unfortunately got stolen. I worked with "Hamza" he sent me the pendant and chain that I ordered before and it was supposed to be the exact order from last time. Somehow. The pendant was 1 gram short. Not that big of a deal. The chain however was 26 grams short. You heard me right 26 grams lighter than the previous chain. I told him my issue and he said return chain and correct one would be sent. I returned the chain and am still waiting. Original order date November 15th 2021. This review is being posted February 1 2022. This is after dealing with Hamza and another customer service rep that assured me the issue would get solved. I have contacted customer service 5-10 different times now and can't get any answers on my issue. My only next recourse is to dispute the charge with my creditor to Get my money back. The sad part is. I don't even want my money back. I just want what I ordered! I have dealt with this company 2 other times in the past but I assure you after this run around. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. I hope someone reads this review and takes it into Consideration. I will update this post if my issue ever gets resolved. read more

I purchased 2 orders with them recently one was a layaway I intended on paying within a span of a week (was going to make 3 payments) and the other was an affirm. Started off fine paid tax prices on both but expected from trax. They said they verified my first layaway payment after one day and then I submitted my second payment and it made me verify again after taking my payment. After 200 chats with support trying to verify and over 5 phone calls (sending in ID front back, holding my ID, front and back of debit card, holding my debit card MULTIPLE TIMES) they could not verify my order they said they would refund the order and cancel. they refunded a portion of the money then took it back out of my account the next morning. contacted support again (day 5 of dealing with this btw) and they said they only received my first layaway payment and that I had to call again then they finally found my payment for that order after 5 days and now they are saying the refund is going to take 5 days just so l can buy the order and pay in full to not deal with there bullshit anymore. My second order on affirm is nearly not as bad I ordered a few days ago and was just verified today by there team but no payment was taken out now it says my first payment starts next month when it was supposed to start this month anyways don't mind to much about that but there whole system is a mess. This was so simple the ID address matches the shipping and billing address as well there was nothing wrong at all. Just a complete failure on the entire trax staff team 5 days of absolute hell and they still have my money. I've ordered from Johnny dang and multiple other jewelers just fine this has been a miserable experience been thrown in so many circles. Update - second time around buying a jeweler named Elliot quoted me a much higher price than another jeweler the previous day and refused to lower the price even tho I had just lost the invoice message from the day before. I messaged Steven and he handled it immediately. Max should be ashamed of his staff I understand they have to make there cut but I'm sure he wants you to sell product. Losing a customer because you won't lower the price to what i was quoted not even 24 hours before and then having another one of your jewelers do it immediately shows the extreme lack of professionalism. Elliot should not be working for this company as he is not a team player and doesn't care about the business making money just himself. They sent me an invoice for 5,500 after I ask that guy many times are you 100% sure the price is 5,500 and he said yes!! Now I see that they wanted to scam me! They wanted me to pay the 5,500 and then I'm sure they would of told me the price is not 5,500 it's more so we need the rest of the money and because they already have 5,500 they would just say that they needed more money! It's not my fault, he is a professional he should know his prices and quotes (scam) I don't believe it I think they try to scam and play the bait and switch scam! Upon receiving my order I was missing one of the most expensive chains from my order as well when I let William the service person I was dealing with at trax NyC he admitted it was a error by shipping it is now almost a week later and I still have not gotten the chain . Upon getting my Rolex verified at The watch buyers group in Los Angeles California( check em out very valid and verified business unlike trax ) I was informed the box was completely fake . Immediately I informed will at trax nyc and he said a real box will Cost more his exact words look at texts I posted here for proof . This is ridiculous that a buyer would even have to deal with this . After searching the better business bureau fake Rolex seems to be what trax is known for and they even have admitted it check the bb. I wonder what Rolex would think about trax having fake Rolex boxes and watches ? First I determined a max budget, forwarded my super mario design and we got started looking at layouts and different ideas i had for how i wanted the piece to look and function. Once i decided on gold karat and color along with the size and carat content of the charms we moved onto selecting a chain. I wanted a puffed gucci or anchor style link thay was solid gold. This is very rare to find as most puffy style chains are semi hollow to save money. It took a few weeks of waiting and checking in for exciting updates but before i knew it my custom piece was finished and in the mail overnight vis fedex. Jesse answered all my many and sometimes annoying questions, it can be exciting but nervous to get your first custom piece so i had a ton of tiny detail questions.
