Delicious! Been ordering from Tre Amici ever since moving to Palatine, and I love it. Consistent quality, fun staff, awesome pizza!

Tre Amici is close to my heart. Well, it's also close to my house. Well, it's also in the same location I worked in high school, when it was a difference pizza joint. See what I mean? Close to my heart. Exactly. The pizza by the slice is still around, and it's still fantastic. I've since moved to Dallas, where pizza isn't anywhere near the caliber of Chicago, and upon returning to visit, I stopped in to say hello. I bought two slices to go and they remembered me! They have excellent pasta and salads (their antipasto salad is still one of my all-time favorites) too. My family likes the baked ziti and I love the mostaccioli. I think it's the sauce that does it for me here. Other places just don't have it. Super friendly, fast delivery, and excellent food. The lasagna is fabulous! I ordered one for my dinner but it was enough for 3 meals. Yum! The casual service was pleasant & quick.

Again, for our Christmas Party here at our home we used Tre Amici Pizza for catering. This year like all in the past, the order was great tasting food and plenty of it. All our guests had stuff to take home too. The cheese lasagna was excellent. The Italian Beef was great too with plenty of juice and rolls. We had both the baked and fried chicken and that was excellent tasting and not dried out as some places do. We will definitely recommend this place and our guests always look forward to the food every year. Arthur always goes out of his way to make sure the order is put together correct and never had any problems with that part of the catering either. Will be using this place again next year for family gatherings. read more

The saddest thing about me moving from Palatine to McHenry may be that I rarely ever get to eat this delicious pizza nowadays. Great service, friendly people, excellent food. I mean all of it. Some pizza places you wanna stay away from the wings and other such things. Not the case here. Their wings are fantastic. The Bruschetta is also really fresh and delicious. I called my order in just before leaving work because my commute is usually only 30m. After being stuck in traffic for an hour I soon realized I was gling to be stupid late so I called. He said food had just finished baking and he appreciated the call. Since I was only 20-30m away at that point it worked out and the pizza was still delicious. read more

I am normally a fan of Tre's but I have to say lately I dont know if it's just been bad timing or what, but they have had horrible service and just ok food. Everytime I call in an order its like I am talking to someone in jail. They sound like they hate their job! I dont expect overly friendly service, but come on! Dont act like I am bothering you when I place my order! I always get the anti pasto salad...one of the best salads I have ever had! Some days its that great, but now as of late they have been skimmping on the stuff that makes this salad! Ive noticed this with other things as well...I know times have been tough lately, but cutting back like that will only make it worse. I hope the help gets better and the food can stay consistantly yummy because I do like this place a lot! read more

Since Wapaghetti's moved out of the area, we have been searching for a great pizza place and this it!! Tried the pizza last Saturday and just loved it. Then went to a graduation party they catered the next day. Italian sausage, beef, lasagna, everything was delicious. I may never cook for a big party again. I know that this is a pizza place and they do have great pizza, but I usually come here for their wings. We either get them plain or buffalo and they are always perfect. They also have good beef sandwiches too. Tre Amici is a take out only restaurant, but certainly worth a try. read more

Just ate the cheese pan pizza. Really really bad. Sauce has no flavor. Seems just canned tomato sauce put straight on pizza. No seasoning or even salt. Would not eat this even if the restaurant would pay me to eat there. read more

I believe this place is take-out and delivery only but it's really great! My favorite is the stuffed pizza with green peppers. And everyone is so nice! The service is really wonderful and I've never had to wait too long for my meal. They are always very nice and get my order right every time! The menu has a lot to choose from so it's great for everyone and all the food I've had from here has been PHENOMENAL! I'm very picky when it comes to my Chicago pizzas but this place is one of my favorites! read more

Best pizza by the slice in Chicagoland right here! The original blend of spices really sets them apart from any chicago style pizza place. Real Italian style right here baby. 4$ for a slice and can or water. The full pizza itself is a bit pricey but your dollar gets taken far in quality. Im not a big spender but if I wanted something nice catered for a birthday or superbowl party, their fried chicken, salads, potato salad and pasta, Italian beef, you name it, is so authentic. I sincerely love eating here, it really is a treat. Its a family owned business that i've been lucky to get to know well over the years. They've donated 80 pizzas to schools a week for several years. Website menu does not list prices. 12" Thin Bacon and Garlic pizza delivered cost ... $18 +tip. Biggest gripe was that Pizza contained 1-2 strips of Bacon total and a single garlic cove. Really? Beyond Stingy and a terrible value for the cost. read more

Their quality is pretty high and the crust/dough, while a bit thick for my taste, is actually pretty tasty and I can only assume the niche they're aiming for. O-M-G on their thin crust pizza! I had their veg out pizza with spinach, mushrooms and green peppers and this is definitely the very best thin crust pizza I have had in the suburbs and possibly in my lifetime and that's saying a lot because I have consumed from many different pizza places on a quest to find the best. I have definitely found the best thin crust and I would imagine that their other pizzas are just as fantastic. Crust was perfect and sauce had just the right amount of spice and flavor. Hands down the best thin crust pizza in both Schaumburg and Palatine areas. Our favorites are the extra thin crust mushroom or sausage mushroom. Crispy thin crust, perfect amount of cheese and always tasty and fresh ingredients. Definitely worth a visit! read more

Beware of possible scam. We paid for our meal by credit card over the phone. When the driver arrived he stated that they did it to him again and did not include the receipt to sign. Approximately 15 minutes later we received a call from Tre Amici claiming that we ordered to pay by cash and did not pay for our meal. After explaining to the rude caller that we gave our credit card to pay he stated that his manager would call us tomorrow. We confirmed on our credit card website that the transaction went through and called back to let Tre Amici's know that they were paid. Once again we were rudely told that we were wrong and a manager would call us tomorrow. I do not know if this was someone there trying to get extra money out of us but it unfortunate since the food is great. read more

My Family and I love this place. We have been ordering from here for a long time. The pizza is always perfect. The staff makes me a buffalo wrap minus the wrap, which is AMAZING!!! Tre Amici has the best thin crust pizza in town, the exact right amount of cheese, for my taste, and a crispy crust. For Chicago style, go to Lou Malnati's or Gino's East, but for thin crust, this place is it. read more

We have been ordering from here since before they changed their name, and I can say not much has changed but the name(s). We really love their pizza, but they also have other good food. Their Grinder (whatever it's called now) is great. I would say we order from here at least 2-3 times a month and have never been disappointed. Just catered a party for 50 with the Backyard special with BBQ ribs, combo of fried and baked chicken, baked beans, and cole slaw. Actually had 60 attend and there was still food left over. Tre Amici is my go to for a quick slice of pizza for lunch. They always have fresh slices available and I love to pop in when I am working from home. We have also used them to cater pasta parties for the cross country team and they do a great job of providing pasta, garlic bread, and salad. Their italian beef sandwiches are also a favorite. This place didn't do it for me. I found their pizza too bland and doughy. Their pasta isn't very good either. Some of their sides are okay but who wants to go to a pizza place for sides? While it isn't terrible, there are plenty of better places to go for pizza. read more

Wowza! Best pizza in Palatine! Being a pizza snob, I researched this place too before I ordered it. I'm so glad I ordered it one day for lunch a few weeks back, because it exceeded my expectations! Since it was so good, I ordered catering for a business meeting of thin crust pizzas, salad, and brownies. All 15 people loved everything! I am definitely a long-term customer!
