Wow! What an absolutely perfect place to celebrate our baby shower. The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly warm and kind, and the service was flawless. Everything felt spotless and thoughtfully cared for. They truly went above and beyond to make our special day even more beautiful and memorable. We highly recommend Pizza Bella for both private events and regular dining. We love you, Tony, thank you so much! We love Pizza Bella!

Can't say enough good things about this place! We have established "Pizza Bella Fridays" and my kids count down every week. The food is great, the atmosphere can't be replicated but the staff and service is what makes it what it is. We look forward to Fridays here with the kids but also enjoy coming on date night. Honestly this is exactly what Palatine needs - good food, good cocktails and a laid back atmosphere.

After a night out shopping, we decided to order from one of favorite pizza places, Pizza Bella in Palatine, IL. They are located in the downtown area. You can dine in but decided to get take out. Online ordering was very easy. Pickup time was on point. The food practically came out of the oven to our hands. Staff were friendly. We ordered the following: Toasted Ravioli, Cheesy Breadsticks for appetizers. Detroit Stlye Pizza - half cheese and half Green Peppers and Onions, Large Chicago Style Thin Sausage, Korean Style Chicken Wings, Minestrone Soup, and Bolognese Spaghetti. Toasted Ravioli has a nice crisp and taste, filled with cheese. The Cheesy Breadsticks were ok, it could have used some butter or seasoning on it. The soup came in and was filled with veggies and the soup hit the spot on a cold night. The wings were good and not overdone, the sauce was good but not great which is what we expected in ordering Korean wings at an Italian pizza joint. The Bolognese Spaghetti was saucy, cheesy and baked. The ground meat was good and tangy. They also add some shredded beef which is a little different that we are used to. On to the main event. They do a Detroit Pizza really well. The sauce is sweet, the dough has that crisp and softness to it and the burnt cheese edges - yum! The thin crust crunchy and cooked to perfection. Pizza is so good, I had to stop my family wouldn't get any. lol. If you are in the area and want some really good pizza, stop by Pizza Bella, a Palatine staple.

Great restaurant to sit inside or call for pickup. We enjoyed sitting outside on a warm summer day and ordered a mixed green salad that is enough for at least 3 people, toasted ravioli, and topped with The Papa pizza. The Papa is Italian Beef, garlic, and hot giardiniera. The giardiniera is truly spicy, so if you don't like it, get something else. The crust was perfect and it wasn't greasy at all. The portion of the salad was enough for a full table of 3 or 4, honestly. The location in downtown Palatine is new, and now they have seating indoor and out. It's really nice and inviting. They also have other Italian dishes. Honestly, the photos online doesn't do it any service. The food looks so much nicer in real time. I saw folks order dinner entrees and thought to myself how I have to order an entree next time. They're also known for their Detroit style pizza, so I'll get that next time. This was a great place and have found my new pizza spot.

I really enjoyed eating here. Its just a really cool pizzeria. We ordered the detroit style pizza and chicken wings and it was amazing - everything about the crust, and its toppings. I can't wait to go back for more. We also had a chopped salad which was huge! You can share it with 4 people. The starter bread when you sit is delicious, and italian bread and focaccia served with butter and spreadable garlic. Cool vibe in DT Palatine. Highly recommend.

Don't sleep on the Detroit pizza. Also calamari is made when you go pick your food up. So good, this is one of our go to pizza stops!

The lady we had waiting on us was serving a lot of tables, but she was very good at coming by & making sure we had what we needed. She was fast without seeming rushed. They give you bread as soon as you sit down. We ordered Chicken Parm, Seafood Pasta, & a special Garlic Chicken in Corn dish they had for that night! We had food for days! Seems pricey, but it's because the portions are massive! The decor is quite nice & the place is kind of loud. We thoroughly enjoyed this place & will definitely be back to try their other dishes! Waitress was a very nice and efficient woman who knew her stuff and got her order perfect We both chose to only drink water, chose no appetizer or dessert simply two entrées and our bill with tip was $65

I'm a New Yorker, and although I enjoy a good Chicago deep dish, I still favor NY style pizzas. And this one is the best I can remember in Chicago. I've tried a lot. The crust is almost perfect. Well baked, crusty, chewy, and tasty. Lots of air at the edges and a great bite throughout. We had the sausage and peppers pizza. The sausage was crumbled across interior with fresh peppers. The sauce could have had a little more flavor, but it was very good - not too salty like so many others- and nicely spread across the inside of the pie. The crust held the toppings nicely- there was no mush in the middle. We also ordered a pear and pecan salad. Lots of pear squares, plenty of pecans, and a generous amount of greens. The soup of the day was a Tuscan soup - lots of beans, some sausage, cheese, and a flavorful broth. Fresh and homemade. And very good. Oh, and a pitcher of water came to our table with our plates and silverware. No issues. No problems. (From earlier reviews, we had been concerned about the availability of tap water. Ours was fine.). There was a reasonable selection of beer- including craft beers- at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed our meal. Ordering at the counter was easy and efficient. Prices were reasonable and the value was good. We found the service to be pleasant, friendly, and timely. We will be back to try other pizzas and look forward to it.

Out of curiosity, I decided to check it out. Located across from the railroad tracks and near the Metra station, Dario's is a local institution that serves up tasty sandwiches and more. I liked their sandwiches options on the menu. The variety was good. I ordered their Fiesta Panini that's made with pulled pork, habañero aioli, muenster cheese, red peppers, red onions, and avocado. I wanted something to drink and I saw that they have homemade lemonade with cool, different flavors. I got me a small Guava Lemonade. My panini was freshly prepared. It had a good flavor w/ a nice kick of heat from the habañero aioli (but not spicy in the typical habañero flavor sense). The pulled pork was delicious in taste and texture along with the toppings of muenster cheese, the habañero aioli, red peppers, red onions, and avocado. I should've eaten only one half of the sandwich but I couldn't resist having more, so I finished it. The panini was darn delicious. I liked the restaurant's cozy dining area with outside light coming in. They have a nice patio area as well which would be perfect to sit at on a nice weather day. The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked Dario's a lot and will be going for more. Check them out.

The good about Dario's is the food. I was surprised and thought the sandwich and salad I had was…read morereally good! Haven't had a panini like that in a minute. However, my issue is that I went in with one other person and we ordered two paninis and two cans of sprite (one of each for each of us), with one salad bowl to share. It was $55 dollars after tax. Maybe it's me but it seems like a lot. The service isn't really a question here. It's not bad. They call your name, you grab your food, and bus your own table when you're done. Pretty standard. However, If they did that for you, the price wouldn't bother me as much because thats a proper service. To talk a bit about the restaurant itself, it's small with more space to eat outside than inside, but thats just lovely right now in the summer. The place looks clean too. They had complimentary coffee which was nice. The staff are reasonably young. Probably late high school or freshmen in college but that doesn't mean they can't do a good job. Overall, I don't know if I'd recommend this place to everyone. Im conflicted. I like big portions and quality foods of course, and this was great in flavor, just pricey. To reference the surrounding area, I can go here, or to Emits across the street which is consider the finest dining in downtown Palatine past the Argentinean Bendita and Bella Pizza, and spend around the same amount of money. Still the best panini I've had in a while though.
