This place is a versatile spot that offers much more than just the late night crowd and line dancing. It's a great choice for a proper sit-down date night, with a cozy atmosphere and a great wine selection. Service here was superb. The menu has a little bit of everything to satisfy different preferences, with a good mix of upscale mains--like steak, seafood, and pasta--alongside more classic comfort food, like wings and burgers. Everything my husband and I had was delicious, especially the tuna stack, wagyu bolognese, and a perfectly cooked medium ribeye steak. Our meal paired perfectly with a bottle of Caymus. Definitely make time for a full meal here before the late night crowd starts coming in. Overall, my husband and I enjoyed our time here and we'll definitely be coming back!

My wife and I love coming back to Westwood to eat and drink whenever we're near Costa Mesa. The Caesar Salad is always a classic and a great way to start the meal. For the main course, we ordered the Cajun Shrimp Pasta which had just the right amount of kick, and the Prime Ribeye was seasoned super well and cooked perfectly. It paired beautifully with the wine! You definitely have to save room for the Skillet Brownie for dessert, it's delicious and comes out very warm and gooey! The service was also excellent and we really enjoyed another dinner here!

Came during their soft opening almost a year ago and loved the duck wings, drinks, and how the place was set up for a nice dinner to country bar. Decided to try out their dinner... Made reservations for a Friday night at 8pm for 5 people. We got there an hour early, and got seated right away since it wasn't busy at all. Our waiter (forgot his name) was awesome! Entertaining, personable, and always checking in with us. Even when we were looking around for him another waiter noticed and asked what we needed! By 10pm the place was packed! They started clearing the tables on the dance floor and the live music started (the main reason I chose this place for dinner). The entertainment started strong and got everyone line dancing as soon as they started. What we ordered... Drinks: their version of an old fashioned (made perfectly, smoked at table), bananas and pajamas (tastes like a sweet whiskey, did not get any banana flavors), espressotini ( soo good, taste like chocolate milk) Apps: portobello fries (so good we ordered a second serving, first batch was perfect, second batch a little too salty), Brussels sprouts (must try! Crunch still remains even with sauce), truffle Mac and cheese (YES! shaved truffles on top and perfect cheese pulls), loaded mashed potatoes (potatoes were whipped with all the fixings mixed in) Entrees: Cajun shrimp pasta (huge shrimp served with the dish and very tasty, probably wouldn't order again, nothing special stood out), ribeye (cooked perfectly to a medium and so soft it just melts in your mouth, you get options of sauces and I chose chimichurri, my brother said the cowboy butter was good too) Great food, experience, and service... the only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was my leftover ribeye was not packed with the rest of the food! Purposely ate only half to have the next day and when I went through the boxes, it wasn't there. Can't blame my waiter because there was another person that offered to pack the rest of our leftovers too. Definitely wouldn't let an appetizer affect my rating... but HALF of my ribeye (18oz for $72)!

This is my first time here. Took a few friends and the wife for a Birthday celebration, based only off the photos online. This place blew my expectations out of the water! We had dinner at 6:30, and LOVE the food! I've been to The Ranch for steaks several times, and the Tomahawk steak tonight was more tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly! Better than a $200 steak at The Ranch in Anaheim! Very impressive! Service as absolutely amazing as well! I brought a bottle of Caymus. ($25 corkage fee) and they brought the correct wine glasses and Eric was Amazing! I love when a restaurant clears the table including silverware after course 1 and then resets the table with fresh plates and silverware for the main course! During our dinner (Friday night) they had Acoustic country music playing in the background. Not to loud, it was perfect! We could all enjoy the music, but also enjoy each other's company! WE WILL BE BACK SOON!

I always knew this place was a nightlife spot but was pleasantly surprised at the food! For the drink, I ordered a Cowboy Shooter which tasted very fruity but wasn't too strong. We ordered a Tequila Shot which nearly killed me but I appreciated the orange slice over the lime slice because I think it helped more. We had a large group and the food came out extremely fast. I ordered the Wagyu Bolognese and it was so delicious. I finished it extremely quickly. We stayed for the nightlife and I rode the bull which was fun. The operator guy was very friendly. Overall, we had a great night.

Recently had my bridal shower here and I am so happy I did! They were so accommodating and easy to work with. They provided a custom menu, added a cute image on their tv's and gave me the cutest hat for all my guests to sign. The food and drinks are amazing. I highly recommend this place for a date night or an event!

Visited Westwood Coast again on a Friday night for dinner and the food was delicious! Westwood really knows how to do great steaks, we got the ribeye and New York strip, both were cooked perfectly! We had a big group and so we tried all the salads and pastas, they were so fresh and large sized - perfect for sharing! The sea bass and salmon were both great, my kids ate both very readily! The tuna poke stack is still one of my favorite appetizers, and the calamari was a table favorite too. We also all really enjoyed the brownie skillet dessert, it was freshly baked on a cast iron, so warm and delicious with ice cream on top!

My coworkers and I have been planning a night out of country line dancing for quite some time and then, it finally happened! This place was recommended by a friend of a friend. This was my first time here but ironically, I pass this place three nights a week on my way to work. Located in Triangle Square, you won't find issues with free parking either in the structure or across the street. You enter through the double doors directly below the amazingly huge American flag. The interior is warmly lit at night but open and airy nonetheless. We arrived a little after 8pm on a Thursday evening, so we ordered food and drinks while awaiting the dining area to be converted to the dance floor. Order up: 1. Duck Wings, which were quite tender, prepared Korean style with gochujang, topped with sesame seeds, and garnished with fresh herbs. 2. Western Burger, with wagyu beef which my coworker enjoyed just as much. 3. Drop the Beet was our drink of choice, which was refreshing. All in all, we enjoyed our food and drinks even though their prices were comparable to those on the Las Vegas Strip...LOL! By the time we finished eating, it was perfect timing to burn off some calories and dance! Cheers and happy eating till next time!

Came in on a Wednesday shortly after they opened at 5pm because I was hungry and craving filet mignon. It did not disappoint! It was cooked perfectly (medium) and was absolutely delicious. They also have happy hour from open, 5pm-7pm. Their wine selection is also excellent. I had a glass of Cabernet $6 off. Not many people here except for a big party in the back. They should think about promoting their happy hour menu on Yelp. The bartender Nancy was very knowledgeable and so friendly. I will be back for that grilled chicken sandwich.

I love Westwood coast! Their service, food, and vibes were 10/10. I recommend coming here with a group and ordering a bunch of dishes to share. My favorite was the short rib pasta and rib eye! The server recommended their house made biscuits and I'm so glad I did. They were so fluffy and buttery 10/10. This place is so unique a must visit!

Great spot to visit during OC restaurant week. The place is in a hot and popping at the Triangle. It looked like a cutesie place to go line dancing. We opted for the tomahawk dine oc option. The portion was HUGE!!! Enough for dinner for 2 AND leftover lunch. The meal came with an app and dessert too. We picked the oysters (YUM YUM) and the tres leches dessert (just okay). The star of the show was the service. The waitstaff was so attentive. There was a miscommunication on the temperature on our steak and the manager replaced the tomahawk along with all the fixings. They were so apologetic and helpful in fixing the problem. The service was top notch, the food was delicious, and they have a pretty cool vibe. We will be back again soon!

Is there music on Sunday nights as well?

Hello Sonia, On Sundays we have an acoustic singer from 6pm to 9pm.

Is there any live bands, or line dancing happening on Friday night?

We came in at 7 and shut the place down, it's that entertaining!! Now the food is spectacular, great pasta all made in house, the starters were exceptional: arancini stuffed with braised short rib, carpaccio like you've not had before, we had a 25oz ribeye that was cooked perfectly, what can I say, it was a 10/10 for our party of 5 celebrating an amazing birthday.

The owner, Domenico, not only gives a masterclass in hospitality every night, but he truly is a warm and generous man who will ensure that your evening is special. He treats everyone as family. He provides live entertainment every night (rare anywhere these days), and when he gets up on stage, he sings from his heart wiith a talented charm and love for music. The chef, Carmelo, is a young master. His food is excellent and if there is a special...try it! He puts his heart and soul into his dishes. The staff follows in Domenico's footsteps and, even when the night gets busy, they treat us like family and ensure our night is the best. The entertainment last night was the duo of Marcelo on guitar, and Walter on saxaphone. Both are talented, seasoned professionals and gentlemen whom we have come to know and appreciate. From rock, to jazz, merenge to George Benson, they kept the vibe going all night. Obviously, I can't recommend spending your evening at Red Room enough! It's a rare gem.
