I dropped my e bike off to get the brakes serviced. Spoke to Jeff on the phone and directly worked with Bryce during the whole process. Overall staff is knowledgeable and was able to explain to me what may be wrong with the bike. Cost me total of $20 to fix both front and rear breaks. Great turnaround time of 3 working days so that's good. They texted and called to let me know that my bike was ready for pickup. When I arrived my bike was in good condition and brakes were fixed. However one of the staff kept telling me this bike is too small for me and started showing me other Trek bikes that they sell. Well I just came in for a repair but thanks for pointing out this bike is too small for me. If I am in the market for future larger bike upgrade then I will consider coming back. For now hoping no more repairs on my new little e bike. read more

This is the bike shop to go to. Friendly workers that were all working together to ensure the best experience in their shop. I needed 2 things- a tune up on my road bike and to order a new kids bike. They were quite busy when I got there but they took a look at my bike while I was shopping for the kids bike. In the time it took me to purchase the kids bike, they had my bike checked out and a quote ready for me. Luckily it only needed a basic tune up and some new handlebar tape. They promised the bike to be finished by Monday and on Monday morning, I received a text and email indicating the bike was serviced and ready for pick up. Trek Tustin is an excellent shop and I would recommend coming here. I visited the store to try to purchase a road bike during these crazy times. Jeff helped me and was terrific. I was able to test ride a bike and Jeff took the time to watch and adjusted the bike a few times to make sure I had the best riding experience. After experiencing a flat on my vintage Huffy cruiser and unsuccessful efforts to replace with the help of DIY YouTube instructions due to the rusted and stuck bolt...out of all of the other bicycle services I messaged at Facebook TREK was the first to immediately respond and follow up with my inquiries to confirm the tube and tire size I needed were in stock. Since I couldn't remove just the tire to transport in a vehicle, I had to walk disabled Huffy several blocks on that beautiful sunny Saturday so it was such a refreshing blessing to be greeted with a bottle of cold water and invitation to help myself to the delicious coffee station for some appreciated refueling of energy LoL Before I even sat down expecting to wait for service, technician Efron was already in the process of lightening speed pro tire placement including miraculous removal of the rusted bolt with enthusiastic assistance by Jonathan. During those few minutes it was a pleasure observing the manager Bryce communicating with new and long time happy customers enjoying their visit as I did within this small town personable friendly atmosphere. This is an example of a 5 Star store with 5 Star customer service! Went in on Friday, 2/12/21 for a bike fitting for a used road bike I purchased. The owner Jeff personally did my fitting. It was VERY thorough (which is exactly what I wanted - not some quick fit for buying a bike). No, this was very precise, every measurement, all the latest technology. The price was more than reasonable - they could charge more and it would still be fair. He fits pro triathletes, to give you an idea of just how thorough this process is. The entire time, he is super nice, talking with you, encouraging you. And the rest of the staff have this same level of service. No one is trying to sell you or upsell you a bunch of stuff. I happily spent money there buying things for my new bike (prices very reasonable), because I needed them, but also because I was more than happy to support this wonderful, locally-owned business. The communication was excellent, through email and text, as I had a quick service issue with the bike, that they happily took care of - without even charging me for. Plus the store is a great environment. Very clean. You just want to hang out there! This is service at a level that you just unfortunately don't see much these days. I have a Trek Domane+ AL5 that needed new tires. The tires that were recommended and installed by another shop was junk. The tires were less than a year old and were always getting punctured when ever I rode. Bryce helped me select a new stronger tire and since I was there I had the bike serviced. The service went well and was finished by the next day. Went for a ride today and no punctures. Thanks Bryce for the tire recommendation. This review is for Bryce and Sam at Trek Bicycle Tustin! Wow! Talk about having passion and being assertive. You two have been extremely helpful, and honest with a beginner rider like myself. During my first time visit, Sam was able to help me find the bike right for my size. Not only that, he spent a good amount of time educating me on things to look for as a beginner rider: comfortable saddle, shoes, pedal, etc. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, they didn't have much in stock to purchase for my size. However, I lucked out and found a great bike on Offer-Up with the right size because of Sam's assist. On my second visit, I brought the new bike I bought in for a 'tune-up' and that's when I had met Bryce. Something was up with my gear and I had thought it needed an expensive fix. Bryce was able to find that the shifting cable was loose and that it needed to be tighten. He was honest to tell me that the bike was still 'too-new' to be tuned so he encouraged me to keep riding it for a few months before doing so (didn't charge me for his time). We talked for a bit and I ended up purchasing a Bontrager road pedals and shoes for the new ride because I had trusted his knowledge so much. Thank you Sam and Bryce. I dealt with Noah exclusively, who was a delight to work with. Noah is extremely knowledgeable about all things cycling, especially when it comes to the various types of bikes, how to fit a bike based on height, and which accessories are essential. I can't say enough good things about this store and their crew. I haven't been on a bike in over a decade and signed up for a charity bike ride. I went in to purchase clip in shoes at the recommendation of a friend. We showed up ten minutes before closing and the team didn't pressure us to hurry-they took their time explaining everything and stayed late for us. After trying the clip-Ins for two practice rides, I realized that was not the route for me. Went back to Trek to purchase cages instead. The order was placed and somehow the shipment didn't come in the day it was supposed to. The team immediately solved the problem by finding some parts in the back and getting me ready in time for the charity ride. The ride was a little rough for me because I am not comfortable around the cars so I decided that cycling is not for me and to return the shoes. Immediately walking in, they greeted me by first name (I had only been in the store twice and they remembered my name without looking it up!) While cycling is not for me, I recommend this store to anyone who has cycling needs. Their level of professionalism and friendliness blows me away. This is a review for Bryce and Jeff. I went to Trek Bicycle in Tustin, as my new Trek Marlin 7 was making a strange noise coming from the front wheel. I took it to two shops previously and they couldn't get it right. (including the place where I bought the bike) Bryce at Trek Bicycle rode the bike and in less than 5 - 10 minutes had a good idea of what was going on. He even ordered the part I needed from Trek and made sure the warranty would cover it. In 3 days my bike was running like new again! I found my new go-to bike shop! I totally recommend it. On a different note, I went some other day to check new bikes, and Jeff made sure to help me understand the different types of bikes for my style of riding, with their pros and cons. He sure knows a lot about the products he offers. Their customer service is unique. The store is also following Covid-19 measures to ensure everyone's safety while inside and outside the store.
