Can't say I didn't give this place a chance but it's not good and it's just not for my taste buds. Service was super slow, like 25 minutes I waited for my meal although the wait staff were friendly. I was ready to walk out to be honest when I saw the table next to me who came after me get their order first. Now, I ordered the lomo saltado hoping it is better than the horrible pork chops I ordered before.. but this was not good either. The sauce was so SOUR. I didn't expect it to taste Iike Peruvian lomo but this had too much tomatoes and the sauce was just not good. This will be my last time eating here, sadly. The 2 times I've been in within the last 3 weeks does not warrant that I should give it another try. See my before and after photo of the lomo... I ate as much as I could because I was starving but did not enjoy it.

I had a feta/spinach omelette with a side of bacon and avocado!

Had a great breakfast this morning at Trellis! We haven't been since the new owners took over a few months back, but we were very pleased with the service, the food and the affordability. Heads up to anyone Gluten Free in the area, this is the diner for you! They are offering GF options for almost everything, like pancakes, French toast, and oatmeal. I was so pleased with their health conscious menu, too. They use fresh vegetables and even have a quinoa salad. We also ordered a smoothie and picked whatever we wanted to go in it from their fruits and vegetables. We were really impressed by the menu and definitely will be coming back for lunch. I did the "build your own omelette" and my boyfriend had the omelette special today which was a southwestern (peppers, onions, avocado, cheddar cheese, bacon) with salsa and sour cream on the side. We loved it all and his whole plate with home fries and toast was only $7. I think mine was likely less because the build you own option starts with a plain omelette at $4. Really affordable, yet still good quality.

Best Ecuadorian food in Danbury! Coming from the west coast I wasn't expecting to find any good Latin American food but Trellis almuerzo was to die for!!! Affordable price for the huge amount of food I got. Will definitely be coming back before my trip ends!

    The restaurant

Very disappointing, I ordered a very specific dish with a well cooked steak, and the order was wrong and the steak they provided which wasn't even the type I ordered was under cooked. As I went back to the restaurant to correct their mistake, the manager argued with me about how my wife asked for the wrong menu item, when we order lunch from here every day. The service was appalling and the food was no better.

    Wow! Best omelette in town!

First let me start off by saying I love this place! It's been under new management for the last 5 months and you can taste the difference! Everything is fresh, the service is superb and they will make your order anyway you'd like. I've been here three times this week and can't wait to come back.

Encebollado de pescado/ bandeja Paisa / chuletas con arroz y habichuelas. The rice and beans were good BUT a bit on the cold side.

The (breakfast) food is very good, but the coffee is well-nigh undrinkable. It's a problem.

We started with a really great two cheese crostini which was delicious. I paired that with a rye old fashioned (or two) and that drink really hit the spot. For my entree I had a meatball hero which was just as delicious the next day when I had the second half for lunch. The portion was huge and I loved the meatballs and the sauce. For dessert we had a cheesecake with a house made pistachio creme which was amazing. We had a chance to talk to Tim who I believe owns the place and we asked him about a sign we saw on the westside at Innovation Studios for a Rebellion Gastropub. He says he hopes to have that open early in the new year so we can't wait to try that out as well, especially since it's only a five minute drive. But it's worth a 20 minute drive or more to visit Rebellion and we'll definitely be back.

I made the tactical error of visiting Rosy Tomorrow's for a work meeting…read more Not because the meeting was bad, but because this place clearly deserves a version of me who is off the clock, has nowhere else to be, and is prepared to make several questionable menu decisions. The atmosphere is fantastic. The people, energy, truly one of a kind décor, and wonderfully unconventional menu all make the experience feel like much more than lunch. The staff was amazing, the food was very good, and the portions were generous. One wrap at our table looked like it may have missed a growth spurt, but everything else arrived ready to feed actual adults. One important logistical note: If you are especially well hydrated, choose your seat strategically. The restroom is on the bottom floor, and getting there may qualify as the day's cardio. I left with two strong conclusions: First, I really like this place. Second, conducting a work meeting here was like going to an amusement park to discuss spreadsheets. I cannot wait to return in a more appropriately fun frame of mind and work my way through everything I wanted to order but couldn't reasonably explain on an expense report. Consider this the preliminary review. The full investigation will require another visit, several friends, and absolutely no agenda.

It seems that a lot of patrons are locals, as everyone was familiar with each other. It's nice to see this type of connection between the staff here and the guests. I've never been to a longhorn before, but it felt like a country bar turned full-service restaurant. Dimly lit, yet lively. The Brussels sprouts were nice & crispy, but heavy handed on the oil & honey - I'd ask for lightly sweetened next time. Mashed potatoes with butter, delicious. Get the filet medium rare, very tender(loin)! Matt even created a custom garlic, horseradish, and cream sauce for me to try. Delicious pairing with all components of my meal!

Everything is brought out in ONE shot! Soup, salad, appetizers all at one time with the entree arriving very shortly thereafter - and at times WITH the aforementioned! Even when I mention this to the server, we still always wind up with everything at once or the main entrees coming less than a minute after the salad and or appetizer dishes get picked up! WHY? That happened this time as well and we watched it take place at the table next to us. The MAIN problem at this location is that the food prep is just not in line with the time you get your order. Food is regularly brought cold from sitting. For the third consecutive time, one of us ordered their 7-Pepper Sirloin Salad to experience the same debacle as in the past. Cold chilled salad topped with what was supposed to be warm to hot sirloin tips - but they were COLD... AGAIN! Between that and their weak drinks, I really have to find a new place when in the mood for steak and in the Danbury area.

I will say it can get quite loud in there when full which it was on a Saturday night. We shared a salad to start- it was some sort of winter salad with spinach.
