This is one of our favorite breakfast spots. The service is fast and friendly and the food is good. You should check out the ice cream at the front counter on your way out, and you should check out the photos of the old building in the back of the restaurant before you leave. Very good place to eat breakfast. They have great tasting food and really good prices. They have flavored creamers for the coffee, but the coffee is not the best tasting coffee. Much too strong for my liking. The service is usually pretty good, but sometimes the waitresses don't refill the coffee cup when need be. read more

Absolutely delicious! My family and I were just passing through Red Bluff and found this place on Yelp. Nice little cafe with delicious food and it was reasonably priced. They had "mini plates" which were just smaller portions of a big breakfast. Cafe was clean, staff was friendly,and they opened at 530am so if your traveling it works. The coffee was also good and if you ask they have a lot of different flavored creamers. Would definitely stop there again. read more

My husband and I was traveling through town and stopped here to get a bite to eat. I had a BLT that was really good. The atmosphere was nice but the service was the best. We had Gary as our waiter. He was very friendly, efficient and really nice. When we left the diner, my husband had forgotten his teeth wrapped up in a napkin. Ooops. We were already 2 hours away before we realized it. We called the cafe and Gary had said he found them and would mail them to us. 2 days later we received the teeth in the mail. Thank You Gary for going out of your way for us. Great food, and great service! The only suggestion/ opportunity for improvement I have is to make sure vegetarian entrees are cooked separately from meat entrees. I ordered a garden vegetarian omelet but found two tiny pieces of ham. My recommendation is that the restaurant make sure to use separate cooking utensils for veg and non veg dishes! Other than that, I think the food and the service are awesome! Thanks for providing Red Bluff with a decent place to get breakfast! read more

I love eating at the tremont. I go there for breakfast regularly and the service is always good. What really gets me is their service. Even though you seat yourself, someone is always there within minutes to take your order. I sit down and grab a couple creamers and the waitress brings me coffee without even asking. The service and food are always great. I love this place. read more

I wish they knew how to cook eggs. When I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs, I asked for my eggs over medium. They were barely over easy; the runniest eggs I've ever seen. When I complained about it the waitress just told me, "next time let me know". Well, there probably won't be a next time. I'm not a local so next time I'll try somewhere else. We have been here several times in the past few months, having parties, bringing in business for them This last time the back room was very dirty. The floors had old food on them, sticky spots, and the lighting is very poor in the room. We were also charged a fee for the room. I wish they had prepared the room, and cleaned it, since they charged us to use it. read more

We hit the jackpot when we landed at this place. Came into town from Sacramento for a concert at the State Theatre. Had to look up some place to eat on trip advisor and this sounded like it would be good. From the outside it looked unassuming, and we arrived close to five on a Friday night. When we entered we had the place to ourselves, however within no time the place was packed. Shayla was our server and could not have been more attentive. My friend and I both ordered the pork chops since finding grilled pork chops on anybody's menu, especially for a reasonable price, is almost impossible. Everything that was served was tasty. They have this focaccia type bread that has like onion and Parmesan on the crust. Could've made a meal just out of that. And I don't know how they made broccoli taste so good, but could have had a plate of it it was so delicious. But the grilled pork chops - - unbelievably tender and flavorful. Steve -the owner--came out to see how our dinner was. He prepares, among other things, the prime rib.. We were regretting that at least one of us hadn't ordered it. He was so friendly, and in talking to us about it went and grabbed us a slab. It gave new meaning to "melt in your mouth." A true slice of heaven right there in Red Bluff. We were too full for dessert, but grabbed a piece of carrot cake and a cinnamon roll to go. The carrot cake was a perfect repast at midnight, and the cinnamon roll was exactly what breakfast is supposed to be. So glad we found this place. Would recommend it to anybody who is traveling up Hwy 5 or happens to be in the area. And I understand that breakfasts are tremendous. Just an all-around great place. read more

Came here for lunch with two friends. Everything was excellent. Two of us had the tuna melt which was delicious. One friend is watching carbs & had a turkey sandwich substituting lettuce for the bread & she was very happy with it. The vegetable beef soup was homemade with fresh vegetables and was soooo delicious. The waitress was wonderful. On top of that it was very reasonably priced. We'll be back next time we're passing through Red Bluff. read more

I am new to the Red Bluff area...so I used Yelp to find a good breakfast spot. This is the BEST in Red Bluff, and cheap too!!! I usually get the two eggs over easy with bacon sourdough toast, OJ and their french toast. It always comes out perfectly!! The service is always friendly and prompt. This little café has a baker who is worth her weight in gold. She has the lightest touch on her pie crusts. Tastes like the pie crusts my Mom and Grandma used to make. She bakes on Wednesdays and Fridays only. I especially love her coconut cream pie. And, the rest of the menu is pretty good, too. Try their vegetable beef soup, delicious!
