I've been getting my hair cut every month at Trenz since they opened in November 2020. My hair cut is perfect every time. My gray hair is probably pretty easy to cut and style comparted to the vast majority that Trenz does: I hear glowing compliments from each client as their get their hair cut, colored &/or styled every time I visit. All of the hairdressers at Trenz make you feel like a valued friend and take good care of everyone. It is the only salon I know that guarantees their work (will fix it within a week if you're unhappy for any reason). Heather is the best hair stylest in the area. Due to landlord issues, Trenz Salon moved to 4001 S Buffalo. Awesome area and Heather is still the best. heather does not know how to do hair. My mom went In to get her crown bleached. Heather claimed she knew what she was doing and gave my mother chemical burn on her scalp and made her hair fall out. Heather was rushing to get my mom out of the chair and tried to get her hair done in only 2 hair bleaching session. DONT GO THERE FOR BLEACHED HAIR NOR EYELASHES!! My mom also wanted her lashes done and they charged her 80$ and as soon as my mom walked out they started falling off and only lasted about 1 day. This is NOT a FAKE review. I got my hair done here in 2020-there are other reviews like mine here, Google & other places! Noticed it's all the Groupon clients too! The owner Heather Green LIES & tries to get the LOW reviews removed! I have the emails from Yelp! How LOW of YOU to discredit people who give YOU business! The owner's response that reviews are FAKE when she KNOWS they #%^ up people's hair! How APPALLING is that to LIE to clients & then turn around & call clients Liars-BAD Business! This business should be put on BLAST on the news! If I could give a ZERO I would! RUINED my hair w chemicals trying to fix the mistakes the worker made. Heather KNEW Kim was NOT professional but training yet allowed me to be a guinea pig by letting her work on my hair! Kim didn't know what she was doing, can't color, cut, style, think...the owner Heather had to take over for Kim because Kim spaced out mid-process! Supposedly Kim has a "disability" that requires her to smoke marijuana on the job (don't understand how she passed the licensing board test-unless it was a fake!). I should have been told about Kim's supposed "disability" PRIOR to having her work on me while in the salon!. IF you cared and were "fair" and not DISHONEST, GREEDY you should've NOT charged me and credited my money back + MORE to my card for the horrid, shitty, negligence, damage, & unfair practice-RIGHT your WRONG! I made an appointment online, abd received an email confirmation. However when I arrived at my appointment time I was told someone called me to reschedule because she already had a client and couldn't do my hair for 3 hours (she's tying hair extensions- full head). When I told her no one called me she said she could do me in an hour and would call me. I came back in an hour and she asked if I was ready and stuck me in a chair for 20 minutes. When I asked how much longer she just grimaced and said she didn't know. Obviously I left and won't be back. So hard to find a reliable hairstylist in Vegas. read more

I have weekly appointments with Heather; owner of Trenz Salon. She styles and colors my hair with high- lights when needed. I regularly enjoy watching both she and her staff work their magic on other clients. I have personally witnessed many acts of Kindness and Generosity. The staff not only beautifies our hair but offers assistance when someone iis in need. It is shocking to me to read a lengthy review that reads more like an attack piece as opposed to a true review. Just this past Saturday I watched as two clients got corrective treatments on their hair at Trenz. Both had their hair mistreated at other salons and came to Heather for correction. This has been a nightmare ! I am from out of state. I had wanted a spiral perm so looked in Groupon. I found a salon, Trenz on Tropicana here in Vegas. It was a Spiral perm, cut and style. The appointment was with the owner Heather. I got there and they had No spiral perm rods! Yet the ad on Groupon said Spiral perm. Heather said she can do Sprial perm with regular rods. So ok she got started. She was side tracked trying to get a problem solved with a triple charge to the shop. She was in her office and forgot about me. Came out and told another lady to take out my rods. Then Heather rinsed my hair and said she wouldn't charge me as it didn't turn out. I tried to tip her anyway for her time and she said no about 3% of people hair won't perm. At that time it was wet and curls. So I left. When it dried I had a full on Afro! For 2 days it got bigger and bigger! My hair became about 6 times bigger than my face and a complete frizzy mess that doesn't even feel like hair. More like a brillo pad! I am a 70 yr. old white lady. It has taken 3 days of procedures and hot oil treatments to try and get this to relax. It's not much better and still doesn't even feel like hair. I DO NOT recommend THIS SALON! My hair feels awful and I look ridiculous! And for how long??? read more

I found this establishment on Groupon, seems pretty good for the discount price and it's not like any other salon that I've used from Groupon too, so I gave it a try and maybe this time, I may get the haircut and style that I really wanted. I was scared but I gave it a go. So, bought the Groupon and it let me book an appointment right there and then at the Groupon website and it says that once I booked it and paid for it, you are good to go and if you don't show up they will take your money anyway. I got to the place on time and they said, they didn't have my info in their system so I ended up canceling the Groupon and they took me in anyway and honored the Groupon price, so nice of the owner. But I didn't get the haircut that I wanted, the color was good but the layered side swept banks didn't come our right as the picture that I showed the lady. So, im disappointed when I left the place but I still tip her for being nice to me. So, lesson learned..no more Groupon for haircut that way I don't get discount cut too.
