The worst experience ever! Awful hospitality. They charged me $15 for chips and salsa, which should've come with my meal. I asked for a refund (keep in mind, I hadn't even received my takeout yet). The sweet hostess -- who seemed new -- said she could refund me but needed help from another lady. Then comes the older lady, who was rude and clearly not suited for front-of-house work. She eventually gave me the refund, but for some reason they charged me twice first before refunding it. It would've been easier to just hand me the $15 cash back. The whole thing was unnecessary and confusing -- basic math shouldn't be this hard. When I finally got my food, the chile relleno was a total disappointment -- just overcooked eggs with a tiny piece of pepper buried underneath, and loose ground beef that wasn't even part of my order. If I end up sick tonight, we know who to blame. The food looked suspicious, and definitely not worth over $20 a plate for cheap rice and beans. I've been coming here for a long time, and things are not like they used to be. Especially nowadays, with everything being so expensive, you'd think they'd try to stay on point if they want to keep their doors open. Never again. There are plenty of great Mexican spots around here -- this one should honestly close down. read more

The service was amazing and so was the food. Their bacon wrapped prawns are cooked to perfection, and look pretty too. It was my husband's 1st time there and he couldn't have been more pleased. He ordered a Chili Reno and was pleasantly surprised cuz they put ground beef inside. He hasn't had that in 10 yrs any ware around here. We hadn't been to TH in quite a while, so we were due. Went with a few friends and we all had drinks - they've got an extensive menu of craft drinks and they were all good to very good. Food portions were generous. I tried a large combo, just to get a feel for their food, and it was very good. Husband had their shredded beef burrito and it was excellent. Maybe a touch of cinnamon in the sauce? A friend had their beef quesadilla and liked it. Pollo crema was very good. All in all, great service and very good food so we'll be back. Next time we'll try something more adventurous. Salsa could have been hotter for us - it was ok but uninspired. Pico was a nice touch that a lot of places don't offer. read more

This place is great! The staff is always welcoming, the food is always good. We frequent this spot on the regular, I haven't tried everything on the menu but what I have tried is very good. Really happy we stumbled on this place randomly! From the outside, it looks like your typical Mexican joint but their food is definitely elevated compared to competitors in the area. Both of our enchilada and carne asada plates were packed with flavour and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The carne asada itself was seared well (not over cooked) and really juicy. Perfect amount of char while maintaining moisture. Service was friendly and on point throughout and you can definitely tell this place is a favourite among local families because it was quite busy despite being a weeknight. If you're looking for Mexican cuisine, this is one of my favorite places. It's a small restaurant with a full bar in a strip mall. There is plenty of parking but the spaces are small. I usually have to take two spaces when I drive my truck. When you walk in, you're usually greeted by one of the staff who will seat you at a table or a booth. If you go during the week, there is plenty of seating, it can be challenging if you go during the weekend. The staff is always courteous. They do take time to talk with you and explain the menu if there is a problem understanding something. The restaurant is clean and the food is always delivered hot and on hot plates. Of course, chips and salsa are served before the meal. I ordered a combo plate and had more than enough food. My wife ordered the shrimp fajitas and the came out of the kitchen still sizzling. The only two things that disappointed me was that our drinks were not refilled and we had to keep asking for refills and it seems like they cut back on the amount of meat that is given with the food. Like everything, prices here have gone up since the last time we were there, but compared to other places that serve Mexican food, the prices are comparably the same. I give this restaurant a strong 4 stars and will return when we can. read more

It's been a few years since I last dined here so I thought I'd order lunch to-go. Staff are as friendly and welcoming as I remember from previous visits. I ordered my usual Camarones a la Crema and Steak Fajita. I remember these two dishes to be better than what we got. The fajita did not have as much steak strips and the cream sauce on the other dish had a sour taste to it. I also asked for flour tortillas for the fajita and corn for the camarones, but got only flour tortillas. Maybe recipes and cooks have changed, but overall, it was still a good lunch. read more

If we're in another area in No Snohomish County and we're craving Mexican food, we'll go out of our way, pass other Mexican restaurants and go to Tres Hermanos. This is definitely our go-to Mexican restaurant. The food is always fresh, delicious and hot and the staff is friendly and attentive. The owner is great; he always goes out of his way to greet us and check in. There is plenty of room for big groups of folks as well as ample booths for couples or groups of up to four. Sometimes if we're early enough to catch happy hour, we'll have dinner in the bar. I've ordered take out from them too, it's just as delicious as having it in the restaurant. read more

I like this place a lot. However they do charge you if you want extra chips and salsa. This may have changed from the last time I was there...they have happy hour from 3-7 which is a plus, cause most happy hours are typically 3-6. So, you get an extra hour! Happy hour is only in the bar though. I usually get enchilada suizas and I like theirs the best out of all the Mexican restaurants. We've been getting takeout on Fridays at Tres Herman's for several months. Other than the salsa We've been very pleased with quality and portions. Their prices went up slightly since we started going there, which is understandable with the astronomical inflation we all have to endure. But, tonight we were very displeased with much smaller portions of chicken in the enchiladas and rice. The taste was too garlicky, and there was way too much cheese. Tres Hermanos is a seriously underappreciated restaurant that could benefit a lot from a better location, but at least it's close to I-5. Service is fast, the people are nice, and the food is authentic (not to mention delicious!). I already know where I'm going for dinner the next time I'm in Marysville. The chips and salsa came out quickly, but the entree arriving at my table before I had even had a refill is what really surprised me. And this was a ton of really tasty food coming out so fast! I ordered the carne asada with camarones (shrimp) for $16.99, and this was a plate with grilled beef, shrimp, rice, beans, guacamole, and salad. With so much food in front of me, I had no idea how to even put it on the tortillas while keeping it evenly proportioned and not having it spill everywhere, so I just enjoyed it from the plate and ate the tortillas separately. Stopped in since it was the closest Mexican place to the hotel. It wasn't very busy as I got there right after they opened. Got seated right away and service was quick. My plate was EXTREMELY hot and I couldnt even eat the taco for atleast 5 minutes without burning my mouth. Once it cooled down though, the food was alright. Not the greatest but definitely not the worst. It's flavor was more like Tex-mex and not quite authentic Mexican but it definitely wasn't bad. Is this the best Mexican food place in the area, no.
