Quesadillas Locos, with lettuce, pica de gallo, and black olives (no meat) made as a meal with rice and beans.

The food was very good! We had a party of 6 and had no wait time whatsoever at 6pm on a Sunday night. The staff said it is often slow there with people coming in. So, we got our food pretty quickly too!

Tres Locos has always been a favorite place to go for Mexican food! Generally I get the shrimp and avocado quesadilla which is amazing! My husband loves the seafood enchiladas (pictured). This Friday we went there and I decided to give their fish fry a try. I had the beer battered cod and I have to say, for a place that fish fry is not their speciality, it was really good! The batter was crispy and had excellent flavor and the fish was flaky. They even had a chipotle tarter sauce which had a little kick to it but was unique. I would certainly go back for even their fish fry! The service was also good-staff are upbeat and attentive.

This was our first time here after hearing and reading great reviews. You know, EVERYONE knows the best Mexican food, pizza, burger, etc, etc. Well, EVERYONE was right about Tres Locos! The atmosphere in the bar was super friendly to these first-timers. We felt right at home! 'Bartender G' (sorry, I didn't get his name) was really welcoming. We did not feel like intruders. You know that feeling when you sat in someone's spot? Now, the food..... I had the Korean Street Tacos. They weren't just good, they were AMAZING! They are not a regular menu item so I will have to try something else, like maybe the Tomatillo Enchiladas! They were really delicious, but can't be compared to the Tacos. (Did I mention they were amazing? ) Get in there while they're still in the menu. Wash it all down with a Paloma or Margarita. You won't regret it!

Just revisited one of my favorite restaurants in my home town since I've moved away. I've probably been to this place about three to four dozen times. Rarely do i have anything bad to say about my experiences here, and that's a good thing. Staff has always been really friendly, food comes out in a reasonable time, tastes consistently good and is rather affordable in comparison to their competition. Even their salsa is tasty! This is one of my go to places for Mexican food and I always refer my friends and family to go and enjoy it as well.

Excellent Mexican food and the best margs - not too sweet and plenty of booze! Staff is very casual, yet work hard.

Always good food and solid margaritas. Their hours are a bit limited, so check that they're open before you go.

What's with the fruit flies everywhere? Good food but very annoying to see little bugs in your face.

There are structures that look like cabins, and the flooring is meant to mimic grass. There is seating at tables, a bar area. The have video and other games towards the rear. This time it was a Sunday evening. Not that busy. A few people at the bar, and two other tables of people. Got seated right away. Waters, and menus were close behind. Ordered several cocktails and a beer. My Poloma was good, but nothing special. We ordered a Wisconsin Pub Burger, Smoked Brisket Sandwich and a cup of minestrone soup. Didn't take to long for the food to come out. Everything appeared to be freshly made, good temperatures, and the portions were generous. That sandwiches were both good. The burger was medium-rare as ordered and well constructed. Great taste. The fries were hot, and had the right amount of salt. The brisket sandwich was good, but the meat was skimpy for the size of the bun. The soup was good. Not much impressed with the service. There was one person running several tables. Felt like they were new and didn't know much about the menu items or the drinks. Did check on us once after serving our food, but that was it. Had to flag them down for another drink, extra napkins and the bill. A good experience, but nothing that inspired us to want to come back soon.

Mine were so small and out of a dozen, only two drumettes. When I brought it to the bartender's, attention, who I believe is the owner's daughter, she said well they are 50 cent wings and your order is normal with the attitude of what do you expect. Afterwards, I saw a number of wings which by far surpassed my order, again. Recognizing this and giving a fair order of wings would have kept this customer coming back. Besides waited 20 minutes for a drink. We arrived before 5:00 and missed happy hour as a result. That did not upset me as I could see the first bartender was really busy. Last note, there was a bug crawling on my husband's shoulder a couple times which I thought could be a cockroach. I googled it and pretty sure that's what I saw after swatting it off my husband's shoulder and second time stomped on it. I even searched bugs that look like cockroaches and unfortunately none of those matched what I saw. Should have lefts and canceled my order right then and there.

They're going to be replacing MGD with Coors Light. Plenty of domestic cans and bottles. Also, a good selection of liquors. It's one of those places where if you don't know anyone, might be a little awkward at first. After a few times, things will warm up. There's quite a few older regulars, and some younger folks, usually from fishing or shooting. The beer is cold, and the lines are clean. For $5 you can launch right into the channel that leads to Big Muskego lake, and leave your vehicle and trailers parked in the lot. The bar/restaurant itself is quite large inside and probably hopping on Friday for fish fry. We went on a Thursday and it was busier than I had anticipated with a steady stream of regulars passing through. The dining area is a distinct space that is separate from the bar. We ordered food and chose to sit at the bar, and as a bonus there was a nice view of the channel and outdoor seating area. I got the feeling that this place is cash only. I didn't see anyone paying with a card nor did I see a machine behind the bar. In fact, the register itself looked to be from 1940. I saw an ATM near the entrance so that's convenient. The same goes for the dining area. I noticed that everyone who paid for meals used cash instead of credit. For the food itself, there was a good selection of appetizers and sandwiches. Pizza is also available as well as some other main dishes. The prices were very fair for what is offered. We went with a 14" Franco special pizza and were not disappointed. It was well cooked and tasted great, for less than $15. Most of the sandwiches were between $7 and $9. I enjoyed this place, but it is dated and the bartender was kind of inattentive toward us. I felt that she catered more towards the regulars which made me feel like a burden on her. I would rate this place one star higher if she had paid as much attention to us as our waitress did- especially since we were seated at the bar.
