Overall a great experience. I ordered the Mushroom pizza which had mushroom, basil, and garlic. The garlic was the best topping and pulled everything together, and the crust was super crunchy and fluffy. Visited with a couple.of co workers on a Wednesday afternoon. We have the "Closer to an 8.4" and "Spicy Diavola." Both of those pizzas were fantastic, so much so that the 3 of us ate almost both of them, there were maybe 3 slices left. The crust was crispy and firm, the tomato sauce was flavorful, and the meats on the spicy diavola were flavorful as well. The place wasn't crowded, but had a healthy stream of patrons. Brought my boyfriend here based on Dave Portnoy's most recent visit to Phoenix. He is a big fan of Dave, so you can imagine the excitement when I mentioned Trevor's recently earned Dave's best review in the valley. Came around 2pm on a Tuesday and we were still pretty surprised with the amount of people here during a slower time of day. We were greeted right away by a gentlemen who may have been a manager (?) and he told us we could sit wherever. We sat ourselves in a booth and our server, Gabby, came by quickly. We did ask for beverage recs but she was not of drinking age, so understandable on why she couldn't provide drink recs. When it came to the menu, she was able to tell us about the popular pizzas and how to order them which was helpful. For drinks, my bf ordered an IPA beach-fu and I got the oaxacan sun. I really enjoyed my drink and the mezcal was not overly smokey. Now to food - my bf agreed the Trevors combo is the best pizza he has had in Phoenix. The cook on the pizza was perfect and the crust/undercarriage had the right amount of crunch. The chilis on there were so delicious with the proteins on the pie. He wasn't a fan of the proscuitto because of the sweetness of the fig, but I did enjoy the salty/sweet combo. Gabby was spot on recommending "light" arugula on this pizza, I do wish there was more saltiness from the proscuitto. Overall this is a cool spot. Some place you can pick up local brews, grab a cocktail and a super delicious pie. Ambiance is nice and the service is nicer. read more

So first I must say this type of place isn't my jam on a Sunday afternoon, but I'm going to rate 4 stars because I really don't have a reason to give it a lesser rating. Six of my elementary school friends arrived about 3. Had a large booth in the corner near the bar. Service was a little slow but they were busy with a mixture of clientele and I think our waiter still provided above average service. Large wine and craft cocktail menu selections, craft beers and a few domestic choices. Water provided. Drinks came fairly quickly. I can't vouch for the food, I did not eat, but what my companion's ordered was presented nicely and smelled delicious, loved the plates that were provided. Salads dressed efficiently, pizzas slightly charred with plentiful toppings. One friend said the pepperoni was very spicy. Charcuterie board looked really good and I'd definitely order it if I go back. Lots of Italian meats and cheeses with several pickle and olive options. About 10 pinball machines behind a wall at the bar that several families were using. Bathrooms spotless. I didn't go on the liquor store side but if I was in the area I'd definitely stop for it looked like they had several unique items you wouldn't be able to find at a normal "liquor" purveyor. The only downside is parking is very tight if you drive a larger vehicle. read more

Pizza. Thin crust. That is why I went there with a friend. Friday night wait. Said to be an hour and half but ended up being 50 minutes. We went down the strip for tacos as appetizer (which I will review another time). Great unsolicited advice from the waitress as we wanted to try both the mushroom and margarita pizzas. She said to order a big one with half and half. Overall wonderful tomato sauce that is on the more savory and salty side. Think crust fantastic. Cheese is nice and light. Nice younger folk scene with some nice music. Dark, sleek, and trendy. So different from my favorite Pizzeria Bianco so it is tough to compare. It's just really good. They have golfing inside near the back of the restaurant. We put our name in around 6:30pm last night (Friday Night). The place was PACKED. We knew we were gonna have a wait and expected it. They told us 1.5hr wait. We walked around the store, then just sat and talked for about 20 mins when our table was ready! Which was a great surprise! We sat down on the patio, great ambiance. The set up with the liquor store blending into a modern style restaurant and bar is really a cool idea. Good amount of TV action for the sports fan. Host and service was punctual and friendly - everything was done timely and with a friendly tone. Good beer selection - I settled for a West Coast style IPAs which was great and came in a $8 a pint which is whatever I guess. Pizza, which was the reason we were there was good but definitely not great. We had the pepperoni and again it was good but for sure a little floppy and very greasy (pepperoni induced I'm sure, but still)...perhaps should've just done the supposed 8.3 cheese pizza?? Idk, I'd say the pizza we had was more like a 7.5 - good crust and crisp, sauce was awesome, but too greasy for our liking. 5 Stars - Amazing Pizza, Just Know the Menu Before You Go! Came here after seeing Dave Portnoy's high rating, and it did not disappoint! Hands down, some of the best pizza I've ever had. The crust was perfectly crisp, the sauce had great flavor, and the toppings were fresh. One thing to note--on Thursdays through Sundays after 5 PM, they only serve 11" pizzas. We originally asked for an 18" and were told they don't offer them on those days. Wish we had known that before coming! Service was decent, but our server could have been a little more attentive--we had to ask for refills even though it wasn't very busy. That said, the food more than made up for it. Barstool scored this as an 8.3 and I think it was probably closer to a 7.9 but that's just me. Got the double pepp pizza with a side of their ranch and the crisp on the crust was solid but unfortunately the crispness wasn't present throughout the whole pie. Pepps and cheese were fine, nothing special. The ranch was a little too tangy for me, but it did help cut the fat on the pizza. Biggest downfall was honestly the price. Almost $20 for a small pie. Had the best experience at Trevor's from start to finish. This is my top favorite pizza at the moment! We were a walk-in, so there was like a 45 min wait. We walked around the liquor store and chatted with all of the staff while we waited. I loved them all! They were so funny and knowledgeable and seemed happy to talk to us about everything the store had to offer. It was a great selection and a good place to pick up some specialty items. Once we were seated, it was pretty loud and cramped, but for a casual spot it was good. The pizza was soooo delicious. The crust was perfect and the toppings were so fresh and tasty. We got the spicy diavola and proscuitto pizza and while both were divine, the spicy has my heart. The drinks were also really well made as was the Caesar salad. This place is basically a giant fancy liquor store meets cool bar with amazing pizza. And I loved it. The pizza was one of the best pizzas I have ever had (including spots with famous chefs and even places in Italy). The crust was not too thin but not thick, and cooked to perfection in the grand wood fired oven. Toppings and cheese were plentiful and proportionate. Honestly did not expect this quality at such a place. Ambience was cool with big tvs around but also classed up with trendy decor. Amazing hospitality!! And the food is delicious. We stopped in prior to visiting Undertow, across the street, and Trevor's was our favorite place of the evening. If we lived in Phoenix, we would be regulars. It's an unusual combination- liquor/wine store, bar and restaurant... with sportsball on the TVs. And it works!! We enjoyed the best salads we have had in a long, long time and shared a bowl of meatballs that were both life-giving and inspirational. Trevor's quickly made it to the top of our culinary hit list. Our family arrived around 9:30 p.m. after an 8-hour road trip from California, planning to swing by before settling into a tucked-away private resort in paradise. Unfortunately, we arrived just after the kitchen closing and couldn't place an order--understandable, though a bit disappointing given our excitement. Still, the team was courteous and welcomed us to return. The next day, we were back, eager and ready. We ordered two pies: a 10" pepperoni and an 18" mushroom. I chatted with the host, sharing that we'd come back a second time because we genuinely believed Trevor's was worth it. About 25 minutes later, the host respectfully pulled me aside to inform me that a mistake had occurred--only the 10" had been made. She apologized sincerely and expedited the 18" immediately. While waiting, my son and I struck up a conversation with the pizza artisans--an energetic, welcoming crew who clearly passionate what they do. We exchanged stories, and I joked about pulling my celebrity card the first time... which clearly didn't work. They laughed with us and made sure the rest of our experience was spot-on. Not only did they remake our pie and bring their A-game, but they also added complimentary items to show appreciation for our patience--a kind gesture that did not go unnoticed. It felt personal, generous, and real. Now the pizza: Unbelievably mind blowing!, with world-class flavor. Crispy crust, fresh mozzarella, balanced ratios, and a sauce that reminded me of the best I've had in Naples--and yes, even better than some pies we've had in New York and L.A. I've been wanting to try Trevor's for a long time, and I love how they've expanded around the valley to different locations. This is such a cool setup. 2/3 of the location is a huge selection of liquor and spirits, many of which are local and also global. They give samples at the front, which is a nice touch. Now to the restaurant! The other 1/3 is a fairly small restaurant with a big bar and somewhat limited seating. Expect a wait, but there's lots to do with some games and tvs showing a lot of different sports. The pizza was excellent! Thin and slightly chewy crust. I had the Trevor's Combo and the flavor was top notch. My mom had the Seasonal Veggie and loved hers as well. Our waitress was really attentive and one of the sweetest. Awful customer service here from the hostess. We put our names on the 30 minute waitlist, and after 30 minutes, two seats at the bar opened up. Upon sitting down, the bartender said "it's going to be an hour long wait for food orders." This is unacceptable. If people are coming in for a table to have a meal, this information should be stated up front. Tell me before I put my name down that it's gonna be 30 minutes until I'm seated, and then another hour before I see food. It's inconsiderate to waste 90 minutes of a customer's time. Had I known this information up front, I would not have stayed, and would not have needed to write this review. To make things even worse, the hostess approached us and asked if we still wanted our table. I mentioned to her that we should have been told up front that there was a 60 minute food wait in addition to a 30 minute wait for a table. She was defensive and said "well that's not how it was when you guys checked in." She forgets that I approached her twice to check in on our waitlist status. I'm baffled at how a food wait can go from 0 to 60 minutes during the timespan we stood around there. Just take accountability and apologize. It's basic professional restaurant staff conduct, which apparently is asking a lot. The $50 bottle of gin I bought is nice though. Trevor's please do better. read more

I love candles and surprised to see liquor themed candles. They all smelled good! I should've gotten one. Next time! Received a text that out table was ready. Our server was great and accommodating. We ordered the Double Pepp-Fripper'd pepperoni. It came with generous slices of pepperoni. I enjoyed the thin, airy slice. The crust was perfect. The only personal downside was the grease drippings but hey that's what makes a delicious pizza right?! Next time I would try the margarita pizza. The Caesar salad was decent;I enjoyed the infused chili kick to the croutons and the cheese to balance everything out. Not big on drinks but decided to try Trevor's Spritzer but it was a little too strong and requested a margarita instead. The margarita was sweet, tangy and refreshing. Made just right. I'd have that again. It was cool to see arcade games inside the restaurant. Families with kids enjoyed this a lot. If you're looking to have a laid back feel with lounge chairs and watch the kiddos, there's a spot for that too. Lastly, the tables were clean, the staff/servers were great. Definitely a pizza joint to return I had this pizza in a to go container, the same day and next day reheated and it still tasted great! The order, ranked: 1. White sausage 2. Spicy Diavola 3. Prosciutto The good: white sausage was a surprise favorite for my wife and I. It was a very nice flavor and well presented. The bad: we both agreed that the prosciutto was far too sweet for a pizza. Really good selection of bourbon, to include a number of their own store picks. Although not the place for rare allocated bottles, their shelfer selection is good and fairly priced. Beyond that, the restaurant and bar offers up great pours and food. That alone makes this place a must on your go-to stop list. read more
