We stopped into Treylor Park after seeing it on YouTube. We ordered the Veggie Tacos and Chicken Biscuit. I was disappointed that after ordering the tacos our waitress, Kassie, did not mention that they were having a Taco Tuesday deal which gave a free glass of beer with the order of the tacos. It wasn't until we were done that I saw it on the board. The place is small and casual. It appeared clean. The food was just OK. It needed more seasoning for sure. Service was slow considering we were one of 2 tables. They never came to ask us if we needed anything additional, or if we wanted dessert. I would give them another chance as maybe we were there on an "off" night as it wasn't terrible. If you give them a try make sure you look at the specials board before ordering!! read more

The atmosphere definitely fits the name with a sprinkle of modernization. The menu isn't massive, but I did find myself wanting to try a little bit of everything. The cheesesteak egg rolls were okay, they might've been better if the cheese was hot. The hot dog and fries were below room temp and that was disappointing because the quality of the hot dog was decent even though it wasn't fresh. The star of the show was the PB & J WINGS. My only harp was the pecans. I felt like the flavor was on point (it took me in the direction of Thai). Once you pair it with the sauce you take a completely different journey though. We went for a late night dinner last week here impry with their eclectic menu selection but I came out hugely disappointed. We ordered pbj wings (too peanut buttery), chicken and biscuit (way over-salted and overcooked chicken), pot pie ( the crust was not shortcrust), and pizza (low country) and 2 sets of tacos (beef and veggie). Pizza and tacos were good, so was collared greens as a side. Rest of the dishes were not worth the money. Service was great, our server was very pleasant and decorated was nice. Went on a Tuesday night around 8:30pm. Party of 4, seated and greeted immediately. Server was attentive and genuinely friendly. Atmosphere was cozy and plenty to look at while we waited for food. Love that they were playing an old movie (Sandlot) on what looked like a picture frame. Kids chicken tender plate was ginormous- tenders were crunchy and juicy. Chicken biscuit way more than we expected-- hearty, huge, and delish. I was worried when I saw only 2 cheesesteak eggrolls (on the menu as a starter but ordered as the meal)-- thought it wasn't going to be enough to satisfy for a dinner entree, but they were stuffed SO full and I could barely finish the 2nd one. The only thing we didn't care too much for was the fish and chips. The fish was mostly breading (other reviews noted the same). I wanted to love it, but it was just okay. How disappointing! I came here for my birthday lunch from out of town with my parents and boyfriend and was excited to come here because of the food options and the vibe of the place. I got the Grilled Apple Pie Sandwich and the best part about it was the waffle fries which were cooked to perfection and the sauce that it came with, or else I would've given this place 0 stars. The chicken was overcooked, dry, and hard so that made it very less appetizing. Everyone else was also disappointed by the food they got too including a burger and pot pie. To get some good food in our mouths, we got the bourbon pecan pie which was delicious but they were OUT OF ICE CREAM?!?! They didn't inform us of this until we got the dessert which I thought was suspicious and I would think they can easily get ice cream from somewhere before they opened but I guess not. Because they're out of ice cream, we were told we would get a discount but when we got the receipt, they didn't apply the discount and we had to inform the waiter later and he was able to correct it for us luckily. Regardless of the pecan pie being the best one I've had, everything else made that not matter. Unfortunately, when we decided to eat at the restaurant after our waitress took our order we never saw her again. She never came back for a refills or to go containers or our check. We tried multiple times to get her attention and she ignored us. She was very busy with a huge group of her friends that came in and trying to hang out with them. I get that can be distracting, but it would've been nice to not have to go inside every single time we needed ketchup, ranch, to go box etc. We even ended up needing to go inside and ask the bartender for our check which was ridiculous. I've been to the Savannah location and from what I remember they seem to be pretty different in food options. The prices seem reasonable. Unfortunately they were out of the white claw I had ordered but the cherry cola was decent as a substitute. I ordered the "nachos" and it was a TON of food. I only ate about half and was stuffed. We stopped in late after a concert and shared the nachos which is a bed of waffle fries, diced fried chicken, pickles, cheese and ranch. It sounds weird but holy smokes it was so dang good. The only minor complaint we both had is that the chicken was on the dry side. I'd rather see it topped with a couple of chicken tenders to ensure that they are moist. We also shared the fried Oreos. They were...okay. They tasted as if they were store bought Oreos and there was also a heavy oil taste. We dined on the back porch (bar) which was very nice and the service out there was phenomenal. We stopped in at Treylor Park for lunch today and had a great first experience overall. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly hostess who gave us the option of sitting inside or outside. We chose outside, but I loved the look of the inside--super cute with unique décor and great lighting. The patio had string lights and about four or five tall metal tables; we grabbed one of those. Our bartender/server, Connor, was excellent--friendly, attentive, and quick with refills. We ordered a variety of items to try: a pepperoni pizza, the fried bologna sandwich with an egg on top, the charcuterie board, and one of their Sloppy Joes. The charcuterie was a highlight--the spreads, especially the peach jam, were delicious and paired perfectly with the meats and cheeses. The Sloppy Joe was also really good and definitely worth ordering. The only disappointment was the fried bologna sandwich. The texture of the meat was a bit off (slimy) and it wasn't fried the way I had pictured it, so I wouldn't order that one again. For four of us, the total came to about $100, which included the charcuterie board, a Bloody Mary, and two beers. Overall, Treylor Park is a fun spot with great vibes, tasty food, and excellent service. Treylor Park came highly recommended by various people that have been to Savannah. I chuckled at the play on words only to find out one of the founders was named Trey. Treylor Park puts an upscale twist on your classic dishes to provide a unique yet familiar flavor profile. There were so many items on the menu that seemed interesting but I'll admit I was a little hesitant to try some of them. I settled on the PB&J Wings as a new item and the old familiar fish and chips. The PB&J Wings were cooked to perfection, perfectly crispy and piping hot, smothered in a peanut butter sauce. It came with a side of "jam" which was reminiscent of apple sauce. At first taste, I felt it was familiar but I couldn't remember where. Then it was mentioned to me that it was very similar to the Thai peanut sauce that's common in Thai food. That's exactly where I tasted it before. So if you had a Thai peanut sauce before, this is what it will remind you of. The fish and chips were exactly what I expected. Three huge fish strips with waffle fries that are as good as Chick-fil-A's. The malt vinegar aioli was a good substitute for tartar sauce but it wasn't "vinegary" enough, so I just asked for a bottle of malt vinegar. I did get to taste the Treylor Park Pot Pie, which I liked very much. It was essentially a chicken pot pie in burrito form. The filling was as good as some of the best homemade pot pies I've ever had. If you're in the area, you need to try this at least once. It's my understanding that all the Treylor Parks are not the same. So there's a reason to try all of them. read more

Late night dinner after a long day so we decided to circle back as we've been here for Brunch. We got lucky getting a table as it was busy but not packed. Decided to go with a few different items and share. The Shrimp & Grits Tacos were good but needed something to set them over the top. I had recently had Fried Avocado Fries at another place that is local to me so the standard has been set. These were good, but the slices were a bit to big and needed a bit more panko to give it a more "crisp" taste. The last thing we tried was something new, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. Oh yeah, I like the concept and the egg roll was big!! A few cocktails as we were within walking distance from our hotel. I put back 2 Cactus Pear Margaritas and tried the Hang Tang Mojito. It was good, but not as good as the Cactus Pear. Service was good and the vibe was nice... and yeah, it was ~11:45pm when we arrived, yet it felt like 8 pm. Cute place with friendly service. The bone-in peanut butter wings were great. The fried chicken pot pie was so good! Unique and excellent filling where you can really taste the herbs. I don't like chicken and biscuits with gravy & eggs, so I asked for just the fried chicken and the biscuit separately. The fried chicken is very good, crispy, tender and juicy, stands on its own if youre also not into gravy/cheese/eggs. The biscuit was also good. They were totally accommodating with my plain fried chicken request. We got the fried oreos togo and loved them! Seriously try the pot pie!!! Came here with some friends, sat on the enclosed patio. We had to sit at the bar since the heaters only reached to the bar. The food was good, but I wouldn't recommend eating the the pot pie by yourself since it is INCREDIBLY rich... I shared it with someone and we still couldn't finish it.
