Recently took my husbands car here for repairs. They were responsive. We dropped the car off first thing Monday. It was $90 to evaluate. They texted my husband with an estimate for the repairs with pictures of the engine, etc. He also called my husband and explained everything. I've passed by this place many times in the past so when my son needed some repair work done on his vehicle, I recommended he try it for two reasons. It was close to where he lives and the reviews were good, although there were only two reviews at the time. Even though I didn't deal directly with them, I'm still able to write a review based on what transpired due to the fact that with our advice and guidance through a difficult repair, he was in close touch with us through the early processes of dropping it off for a quote. This was also the second facility he took his car to for an estimate so we knew what to expect from the first quote process and had the ballpark figure in mind as to how much it could/would be. After explaining one of the problems, they advised him there would be a charge to drive it around so they could make a better diagnosis. The first place he took it to didn't drive it around. They put it up on the hoist and could see what the problem was. The other issue was an electrical one and they told him there'd be a fee to check it out because of the time process involved in trouble shooting electrical problems. They didn't mention to him whether the fees would be subtracted from his total bill, nor did he ask. That's up to the repair facility to clearly inform the customer one way or the other whether the fee is subtracted at the end if the customer chooses to get the repair done at their facility. Needless to say, since they weren't clear on whether these were subtracted, we decided to have him try a third facility for another quote. The third facility is where the repair will be done because the fee for troubleshooting was explained clearly that if the car was repaired there, the fee would be deducted from the final bill. It was made clear and was understood without any further questions. The cost came in much lower than the first place he took it to, so this is how it was decided to go with that facility instead. I'm only rating this based on the process of wanting to have the car looked at and what the outcome of that first interaction was. Maybe other places charge fees to drive a car around, but we've had plenty of cars repaired in the past and were never told of this type of fee nor were we charged for that. So it caught me by surprise when my son called us with this information. Based on the two other excellent reviews from actual repairs and for clarification purposes, it sounds like they're a trusted place and have good prices and satisfied customers that would recommend them to others, but we didn't like what we heard in the beginning and decided to try another automotive repair facility. But that's why we have choices and that's why places offer quotes so the consumer can make an educated decision based on what they are told and can decide if the repair facility is a good fit and is a place they want their car fixed at. read more

Tim and his team are the Mother Theresas of all auto repairs. Would totally recommend. Only bad side is they take a day or two to start work on your car, but that's only because they are the best and everyone knows it, so every one takes their care here. As much as I hate having to take my car into a shop, I love that I have such a great shop to take it to. Thanks! read more

I've been taking vehicles to Tri-Action for 16 years now and I've always been completly satisfied with their service. Labor rates are on par with other shops in the area and the mark-up on parts is low. I've also purchased parts on my own and had Tri-Action install them when I didn't have the necessary tools or time. The only time they don't get a vehicle back to me when promised is when they find additional things wrong that I didn't know about and I ask them to fix those issues as well; though they can usually get the additional repair scope completed the same day. They have a customer for life and I always recommend them to others. read more

I was having a few problems with my truck and was recommended this place by a friend.So I made an appointment and dropped my truck off the customer service was great friendly techs that seemed knowledgeable.When they called me to tell me what needed to be repaired along with the price it was pretty much what I was expecting the price was a little high but I figured if they do good work and fix the problem I'm not going to argue about the price and so I paid and picked my truck up it seemed better then it was for maybe two days and ever since it's back with the same problems like they didn't do anything except drain my bank account needless to say I'm very unhappy I give two stars just for the courteous staff and that's it.I'm going to call them to see if they're willing to help me out and actually fix it this time without a hefty bill I'm not expecting free.I will update this review after I talk with them. read more

These guys are awesome! Tim and Aaron really took care of my Mom (who is 85). They were honest and very very fair in pricing. We were taking mom's car to a couple different shops to verify work needed and cost. Honesty and fair pricing are hard to come by...especially when dealing with elderly, but Tri-Action hits the mark!
