Had my tires replaced a week ago. Now, I'm working on changing the brakes and 3/5 wheel studs have broken off in the lug nuts on the first wheel I'm trying to take off. I haven't even gotten the wheel off, and I'm pretty sure another one is about to brake. I called to explain what happened and the attendant on the phone gave me attitude and said it was my fault for not coming in to have the lug nuts torqued on again. Stay far away from here. read more

went here on a sunday morning since they were the only place open. they were quite steady with business! I was super nervous because it was my first time having a flat tire and taking care of it myself. the staff was very nice and got my car in and out within and hour and a half despite being busy. prices were also reasonable. i appreciated the text updates too! the only thing that could be improved upon was that they did not put my spare tire back in its designated slot of the trunk where it belonged, but rather just sitting in the main part of the trunk. this is not a huge deal tho just a minor inconvenience! I would return here again if, god forbid, something happens to my car again. read more

I would highly recommend this auto care center at Walmarts. I had 4 new tires put on my car. this is the extremely important for someone that went above and beyond! his name is Dan. I had a hard time walking into the place (actually first trying to figure out how to get back there). so I was still parked out in front of the store. my legs were in so much pain and I felt like my left knee just gave out! to get back to the front of where I parked my car and to get it back to the auto care ( I thought this is going to be a nightmare if I have to get my car due to my pain!) thankfully Dan said he would get my car! as another employee pointed out this is not in our job description! all I can say is Dan is a stand up great employee! he definitely needs to be recognized for this incredible gesture! you don't find employees like that anymore! a big thank you to Dan for getting my car and the new tires are great! so surprising there are still people out there in the work force that go above & beyond!!! if I had to go back and get my car and bring it to the auto care location I probably wouldn't of made it to get new tires and just would of gone home. thank you Dan! We called ahead and there was no wait, but sadly a car got there before us. Our tire was losing air and went flat twice. After an hour, we a gentleman explained what was happening. He told us our tire pressure was off and our car needed a certain amount. He looked for punctures, which only costs $10, super cheap! They fixed our tire pressures and told us they were all off for some reason. We recently got an oil change and we werent sure if it was all filled way too much. He told us putting too much on one side can offset the car and make it bounce on the tire, releasing the pressure. Awesome part was they did not charge us a thing! Great customer service and super kind. read more

I have has two experiences with a Walmart tire center in the last two years. One in Georgetown Ky an today near Joliet Illinois. While my problem was taken care in both times it was the time it took that upset me. In both cases I was told 30min max to repair my problem when it took over a hour and a half to solve the issue. The employees simply don't know the word "hustle" ! I changed my tire today along the road in the rain faster than the Walmart employees did in the shop with much better tools and much better working conditions. This issue needs to be addresse. read more

Lazy is only word to describe these bums I needed a tire replaced I had already taken it off the car it was a 5 minute job was told I have to come back tomorrow cause they had 3 tires to change out already ahead of me ...3 tires not even an hours work then the auto tech mumbled something under his breath when I laughed and told him it was only a 5 mi6 job so stay away from these lazy sloths .they wNt more money but ain't worth 2 cents customer service sucksperiod total joke read more

My wife and I used to take our cars here for oil changes and other occasional maintenance because of positive experiences at another Walmart Auto Center in Grand Blanc and because they used to be considerably cheaper than anywhere else. Never again. Here are the main problems: 1. The most outstanding problem applies to one employee in particular named Scott. I normally wouldn't name names, but this guy either needs to make changes or face consequences. My wife has experienced multiple times, and I've witnessed with other women as well, that he's been noticeably hyper-attentive to nice-looking women while basically ignoring any other customers, and in a way that makes my wife (and me, on behalf of the women) uncomfortable. He seems to prolong wait times for these women that allow him to look at them longer, and we've both witnessed comments from other staff members that seem to clearly indicate that they see these problems too and try to minimize them but don't feel like they should react too strongly. Obviously I don't know exactly what's in their minds, but the signs we've seen point to this being the case. In addition, Scott always has his pants and underpants (assuming he wears them) so far down that at least half of his backside is exposed. And this is the guy who sits in our cars and drives them into the garage! I'm not usually one to care how people wear their clothes, but it feels very unsanitary. Finally, at this most recent visit, he tried to charge about $10 more for the same service we've gotten there in the past that's the same price every time. I don't know if this is because he's confused, dishonest, or what, but it certainly doesn't make the experience any better. 2. On top of this, they have always taken a super long time to get anything done. If you come in for their most basic oil change and there are two cars ahead of you for oil or tire changes, expect to be there for 2-3 hours. Even if no one is ahead of you, it can take them almost an hour to change your oil. Part of the problem seems to be that they're understaffed, but just as big a problem is that, in our several experiences there, most of the employees seem to be quite lazy. It's clear they don't love their jobs, and I can sympathize with that, but it's the customers who suffer for their lack of motivation. Making matters much worse is that the service desk is usually unattended, so you can just be standing there for a long time to ask a simple question. 3. Finally, they have been steadily raising their regular prices over the past year or so. Their basic oil change used to be $17 and is now about $20 (when they charge us correctly). When other local oil places are charging around $25 for a basic oil change, we'll gladly pay the extra few bucks for a way better experience. There is one guy there who is often at the service desk (I wish I remembered his name) who provides quality customer care and seems to be doing his best to be on top of things. If all of the other employees were more like him, we'd be happy to continue paying for service here. As it stands, the auto center was one of the very few things that still brought us into Walmart to shop once in a while, and now we're finished. read more

Horrible service. These guys should not be operating any kind of store or service. I actually cannot believe they have any customers to service. I left my car there at 2:00 for 3 tires to replace. There was some issues with one rim but they didn't let me know until just before they closed around 6:30. I discussed it with them and left the car for 9:00 appointment next day. 11:00 no call from them so I called. I spoke to the manager Patricia and she kept asking which car it was and if I'm calling the right store. Really! Left me on hold for 20 minutes. At this point I'm thinking someone stole the car. next person to come on phone was a guy working in back who said same issue we discussed yesterday and had to explain it all over again. There was more to this awful experience but you should avoid this place unless you want big head aches. read more

This location has "Horrible" customer service. They do not talk to you in a professional way. Especially the assistant manager DENISE. Needed to get my battery checked after purchasing it from this location so I called at 5:30pm told them I needed either a new battery or maybe just a charge not sure which one. I asked if I could bring it in the same day they said yes they close at 7:00pm. Once I got there at 6:00 was rudely told they are over capacity . When I explained I was just on the phone and was told to bring it in they said sorry they couldn't do anything. Why would you not tell someone that they couldn't take them instead of driving there. I will never step foot at this location. The assistant manager seem like she didn't want to even deal with me and when I explained to her what happened and told her that's the reason I was there because they told me they close at 7:00 her response was well it is on the door anyone can see that. I wouldn't have even given them a star but I had to in order to post this. read more
