Completely different airport since the remodel. Great food selection, a little spot for some drinks and much better seating. Biggest upgrade is probably the fact that there is an actual TSA Checkpoint now. I never got her name, but my night was saved by a wonderful employee at this airport! The last flight to Seattle was delayed, meaning I would miss my connecting flight home. Called the airline... No help, only a vague recommendation to try again and see what they could do once I was in Seattle. I was resigned to having to stay over in Seattle, possibly on my own dime, and deal with getting to work late directly from the airport when I finally got home the next morning. The employee stayed late after her shift and kept working from her end, and was able to not only get me onto an earlier flight on an alternative airline to Seattle, she also set me up with an upgraded flight home! I'm so grateful about how she went above and beyond for me when the airline wouldn't. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! read more

The TSA here almost made me cry! I'm a frequent flyer and I know the routine when it comes to going through airport security. I had one lady yell at me for putting my bag on the conveyor belt.. cause how else would you get your bag through security?? And then I had another TSA agent a male almost slap my hands away from my luggage cause I was trying to help him not spill everything out of my bag while he looked at a candle I received for Christmas. I have never dealt with such rude TSA agents before in my many years of flying. read more

After going through a scan there were spots on my neck and upper shoulders that lit up. One agent told me it was because of my mask. Rather than have me go through again with a different mask he sent me to another agent to be frisked. I showed her my bare shoulders and asked if she had to touch me and she did not wait for consent and touched me around my shoulders, armpits, and breasts. My armpits and breasts did not light up in the scan. I do not recommend this place as they violate you for absolutely no reason. read more

My wife and I were very impressed with the completed remodel of the interior of the airport. The new section of the airport has a spacious TSA Checkpoint area. After you go through the TSA Checkpoint, You observe a spacious lobby area with large floor to 20 foot ceiling windows. Columbia Bar & Grill is located in the lobby area after the TSA checkpoint. Nice to see the new passenger gates (3),(4),(5) can accommodate passenger boarding without going outside (DELTA, UNITED, ALLEGENT). I am assuming Gates (1) & (2) service the Turbo-Props (ALASKA-HORIZON) and you still need to go outside to board the planes read more

Love that feeling when you deboard a regional plane! You get that "vip, just deboarded from my private plane feeling." Anyways, PSC is typical of your tiny regional airports - small, clean, fast baggage check and check-ins, and limited restaurants. If you're staying at a local hotel, check with them as usually they have car services picking up hourly. read more

You know it's a small airport when: The Delta guy who does luggage check-in also ushers you onto the plane. The security randomly shuts down as the TSA goes on coffee breaks (no seriously!) The guy running the gate randomly starts chatting with you... and it's not weird. Pasco is nice, I am happy. Other than the slightly annoying TSA shutdown, I was pleased (there were no flights going out for the next 4 hours. Small airport?) As earlier mentioned, the only alcohol is outside security (too bad I'm 20!). Rarely a security line to be had, and customs is super friendly. But they're through. The TSA removed almost everything from my backpack cause it was too cluttered. The guy had never seen a SteriPen before, which I'm using to purify my water internationally. We had a good convo. I don't really have anything negative to say--it's cute and small. There are peak travel hours though, so don't take its size for granted and think you can show up 20 minutes before your flight, sometimes the lines for security are a little slow and you don't want to get yourself in a pickle. They also close the ticketing counter early: you're warned! The staff there is nice, I've seen them go above an beyond their job duties which is really nice and appreciated. They allow for free parking when you're picking someone up and I've never run into any issues pulling into the loading area to pick someone up. (Some airports are crazy strict with that, shooing you out after 30 seconds) read more

Never that busy, and quick to get through security. However, I have had some issues in the many times I've been there. 1. if security is totally dead, you will get searched by hand. They get bored I think. 2. the gate agents all seem to not want to work there. that's ok, but there is still a job to do. 3. baggage...if you lose your bag make sure you go to the air port to pick it up, don't want for them. (United lost my bag from SFO to PSC..it has about $15k worth of camera gear....it came in the following day but was put on the conveyor with everyone elses stuff. PSC called two days later asking if I had gotten my bag. GRRR) 4. eat before you go through security unless you like overpriced snacks. Oh, and just because you see an espresso machine doesn't mean they will make you one. read more

This is the smallest airport I have ever been in and the friendliest! We arrived into Paso with no problems. Everything was great! We left with nothing but smile and laughter. The people at the airline counter were super helpful with helping us ship our wine we collected on our visit from Walla Walla. The TSA agent was the nicest guy. Not that often the TSA agent makes you smile and laugh while checking you ID. My husbands ID got stuck in the Xray machine. We freaked out for a second thing we some how lost it. No worries the security guy found it and got it to us. You don't have to worry about long line at such a tiny airport. Overall it was great experience and we'll keep flying back in on our annual trips to Walla Walla! read more

June 2016 and they're still under construction BUT it doesn't get in the way of checking in or TSA. The only part of my coming through PSC that it affected was the entrance/exit. There are 2 and one of them was blocked off for some construction. It's not a big airport AT ALL so honestly, it's not even noticeable. Parking here is what someone from the city DREAMS about haha. Free 25 minute short term parking in the parking lot?? Whaaattt. The word 'Traffic' does not exist out here. No ubers here or ANYWHERE in the Tri-Cities from what I heard. That sucks. When I landed (7:30pm on a Friday), there was only one cab waiting outside. Not sure if to pick someone up or just waiting for someone to need a ride. TSA is so friendly here! I've never been greeted with enthusiasm AND a smile before lmao. There was virtually no line for anything other than baggage claim at the times I was here. Sleeping like a baby and my mom walks in to wake my ass up...I over slept and my damn alarm didn't go off! Shoot I'm SUPER late for my flight. Seriously though 5-6am flights are ridiculous! We book it to the airport and I arrive 20 minutes before my flight departs. On the drive there (I live about 35-40 min away from the airport) I'm thinking 'ok I'll probably have to fly stand-by and get stuck in some random airport for a day until I can finally get back to my destination.' I run to the ticket counter and there is no line but that's probably because everyone else already checked in. I start pleading with the woman at the counter and it seemed like she heard me or not because I just got a smile and a 'can I see your ID and please place your bags here.' Holy crap she was checking me in and next thing I know I have a boarding pass in hand. Whew!! Had this been any other airport I doubt that they would have done this. Oh so glad that this place is small. I have always had a great experience with all of the personnel. They have a small restaurant and it's great because they have a TV going and convenient when it's snowing like mad outside and your flight has been delayed. The food is decent. It's like a mix of Italian and American. The best part is that they have free Wi-Fi!!! What more could you want?! Parking is super cheap! Nothing like SFO or LAX where they charge you and arm and a leg to park for a few minutes. Baggage claim could be quicker but it does allow you to catch up with the fam. I also love ala carte but if you do have a carry on bag that you place on the cart and then land in Pasco in the middle of the winter don't forget your coat! Ah I love home :) read more

This review is LESS about PSC, but more about the United Airlines gate agent / staff. I was traveling with my family, and checking ONE bag, and an infant car seat. The United agent (Kim) spent 5 mins trying to get it right, gave me bag tags, then took them back & issued me new ones for $35.00 When I asked 'WHY' the $35 she said the 'excess bag'. I told her the car seat is an exempt item - she said, "Call United refund center. We can't do anything here." An hour of waiting / talking to United on the phone - and they would submit an inquiry. Emailed one week later - NO REFUND - due to, "..excess luggage.." WTFH? One bag and a car seat is NOT excess luggage for three people traveling. Another few hours on the phone and the agent says, "Go online". Online - no help either. Submit your info, and the web page just spins...... This is less about $10 measly dollars, and more about United & their poorly-trained agent, Kim. This is fraudulent practice in 'checking' the exemption item, and then charging for the normal luggage. I will avoid flying United as much as possible, and am glad I am on Delta next week. read more

Having grown up flying out of small airports, the ease of travelling through this airport is no shock to me. Lines basically don't exist, and you can literally walk through security on to your plane if you've checked-in online and are flying carry-on only. Flights to: Seattle, Denver, Salt Lake, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Phoenix/Mesa and Los Angeles on United, Delta, Horizon and Allegiant. My only complaint is that there is no alcohol service on the passenger side of security. I enjoy a cocktail or two before I board, and that is never possible here at PSC. read more

Considering this is a small town airport servicing 3 cities and counless of rural communities - it's not that bad. And, at the time I last arrived/departed (July 2015) it was under some MAJOR construction. I won't comment on that because it can't ultimately be helped and it is an effort to improve the overall function and appearance. It's one floor. Convenient to pick up and drop off peeps. I have had some problems with baggage here - but it's not the airports fault. It was the airlines ultimately - and it did work out in the end. I've never paid to park here ... it's always a pick up and drop off outside experience both as a traveler and as the driver! I will say that if you leave your vehicle unattended - it will get a ticket - but there isn't a lot of enforcement here - and what I mean by that is ... the front is not swarming with police. So, if you want to take your chances, you could probably get away with 10 minutes before being asked to move. All airlines currently (as of July 2015) board you on ground across the tarmac. This leaves you exposed to the elements so plan your clothing accordingly. With the new construction this could be changed by now. Just be aware. There is free Wi-Fi (unsecured) but when I tried to connect it was like 1 bar. Not good enough for me to hit it. Overall, my experience was okay. read more

This isn't a review of the airport, which I think is great! Small, fast and efficient. The airport deserves 5 stars especially given their involvement in the local arts community. This is feedback for Tailwinds, the bar and restaurant located in the terminal side of the airport. For starters, it is crazy expensive! A cheese quesadilla 12" folded in half is $11.59. That equates to four strips of melted cheese in a tortilla. In their defense, you can get meat added to it for no extra charge....but it doesn't come with beans, mushrooms, onions, olives, peppers or anything else. A 16oz beer is $9 and a house (well) margarita was $10 50. If their prices were reasonable, I'd visit before each flight and maybe even have a few rounds each time! read more

Very small airport, which in my book is a plus from the start. Easy access to everything, no lines at ticketing, no lines at security. Rental car counters are next to baggage claim. You can have your rental car keys before your bags. The rental cars are just outside of baggage claim. Only downside is no restaurants or shops. One small coffee shop. read more

I don't know too many people who like going to the airport but this one makes things easy. First, security is on point. Don't think you will get that big bottle of lotion in your carry on pass them. The best thing is that the staff is fast and friendly. The first point of contact at security is the ID Checker. This time it was a middle aged female. She greeted us with a smile and make a couple of funny comments before wishing us a safe flight. After thinking my bag had made it through the scanner home free, one of the security members asked if they could check it and actually waited for me to answer before they unzipped the bag. After carefully searching, they found hair product and kindly informed us that it won't be making the flight with us. (My husband insisted on bringing his hair products, which passed the LAX security on our way up to the Tri Cities). I feel good that the security folks are taking their job seriously to keep us safe. The airport seems aged and the ceiling are low. The lighting is dim. The restaurant in the airport has super slow service (ah, you're in an airport. Folks may need quick service so they can catch a flight?) and the food is not great. I had a veggie omelet and the green peppers, mushroom and onions were not even cooked. Seemed like they were thrown in as a afterthought.These would be my only con's. Dog owners may enjoy this...if your dog is in the car when you pick up your guests from the airport, the parking attendant hands out doggy treats as you leave the parking lot. Not sure if this is the standard or if it was just doggy Meagan's lucky day. It is a great airport to fly in and out of. Safety first! read more

This is a small town airport, but one update from the last review I saw - depending on the hour you're rolling through there is a bar once you get through security. They do shut down the security line when there are no flights going through and some of the rental agencies have limited hours as well. So really there's no point in showing up super early since they may not be staffed to let you through. Overall, it's a fine airport. I'm always there in the morning and there is coffee, granola bars and parfait at Florentyna's to see me through. Security line, even when long, tends to get you through quickly. My warning to you is that they will check EVERYTHING. I'm there so often I know some of the TSA guys by name and we chat about our lives and updates and yet if I forget to put my contact solution in the plastic bag or don't check it, they find it. I never have any problems at other airports (cleveland, madison, denver, boston, anchorage, etc) and yet my bag consistently gets searched here for the random liquid I forgot to pull out at 5:30 in the morning or they end up pulling out all my electronics and running them back through the scanner. read more

Tri-Cities airport is located in Pasco. It is a small Regional airport with only 3 gates. Services both jets and prop planes. Ok, you need to be wanting to go to southeast WA state. This is the airport you use. It serves the 3 cities of Pasco, Richland, and Kenneweck. This area is great for tourists, and has a blossoming wine country. Everyone at the airport is so friendly and helpful. It is a nice small town feeling . From the ticket agents, to the rental car agents, to the TSA personnel, this is a great experience. It takes a total of about 10 min. to check in and go through TSA security. Fast, friendly and efficient. Tri-Cities airport is a gem for small regional airports. read more

If I was in a big city airport I'd expect these prices, but these are pretty high for this area. Totally taking advantage of a captured audience. read more

Going from Las Vegas' McCarran to Tri-Cities is a little jarring. I'd never before had to walk out of an airplane into the cold night air and cross the tarmac before being INSIDE the actual airport. However, I am obviously just a spoiled big-city girl. All in all Tri-Cities Airport is an A+ facility. Everything is easy to find (mostly because it is so small!). The TSA security was not a problem at all. Quick, easy and efficient! A big plus is they have free WiFi and a convenience store once you get into the terminal that sells your typical convenience food fare, but also sandwiches and coffees. Only a few airlines fly in here - Allegiant, Alaska, and Delta. Perhaps one more? But that's it. Don't expect much, it's your typical small-town airport. read more

By far the smallest airport I have ever been in! Teeny! Security is alright, asked everyone for their name? Never had that happen to me in an airport before. There is something to be said for a tiny airport without jet bridges and numerous loudspeakers and people who act like they are on fire. My planes arrived and departed on time, and there was plenty of seating for the passengers while waiting to board. It was clean and well-kept. However, their TV for telling which gates flights arrive in and out of is really annoying--it changes slides approximately every five seconds. It took me a really long time to figure out which gate I was departing out of--then again, I could see all the gates by standing still in the middle of them, so it wouldn't have been too difficult to figure out. A little more expensive to fly in/out of here but worth it if your destination is close! read more

My first time here was not pleasant my brand new baggage bag was totally damaged and ruin... I dont know if its the Airline or the airport personnel.. i filed a complain and nobody cares. ...nothing happenned this is the 3rd year of waiitng with no action. Second time I was with my husband and mother in-law.... My mother in law's walker got lost and they dont know what happenned to it. The luggage personnel who is also the Ticket Agent and the person who assist our Mom is very helpful though we waited for him for 30 mins before he can attend to us as he was the only person there that time. The 3rd time was just recently though I was not the one flying... it was my parents going back to the Philippines, I was so worried as they are both old and my dad was in the wheelchair. When they were trying to check my Dad nobody even assist him when he was walking through the door, i asked them if I can go they said no... so i was basically helpless watching my Dad having a hard time. When finally they were able to put on their shoes, coat, belt etc... nobody push my Dad (whos on the wheelchair) to the plane. I saw my old mom trying to push my dad's wheelchair and pull her carry-on bag at the same time. So I finally speak out loud saying "Are they gonna get helped, they are the only passenger left and the guard told me you could have got a pass you know to help...what? after everything? they should have told me beforehand that I could do that.... Anyway, I was really worried that they will be left behind until finally the lady from the airline told my mom to push my Dad and just leave the carry-one bag and she will just it . I hope Next time will be better. read more

This airport is small and the chairs are uncomfortable, but the best part is that you only have to sit there for a short period of time, and then you'll be released from the awful-ness that is the Tri-Cities. The security team here is pretty fair. Nothing overdramatic that I've experienced at least. Once you get to the gate area, try and set up camp right next to the power outlets, which are along the walls and some of the posts. If you can help it, try to eat before you go to the airport, because the food available in the little stand at the end is pathetic. read more

The one problem that I consistently have here is that delta only wants to pay one person, so you gotta wait there.
