My baby is looking gooooood! My car had incurred various battle scars from the mean streets of LA and OC over the last few years.. and on a whim I decided to treat myself to repairs and basically a brand spanking new whip for the new year/decade! Took my bruised car in on a Wednesday and picked up my spick and span baby the following Monday! Thank you to MIKE for the expeditious and flawless work! Honestly feels like driving a new car again! Will come back (hopefully not soon)!

Just got my front bumper painted there bit over a month ago and the paint started smudging off.

Paint looks great at first. But quite abit of dirt specs. Also bit over a month while washing my car, a spot started chipping then it smudged off about thumb size. Possibly had oil residue during preping. Gotta find a other place to repaint.

The shop took on the job of painting my vehicle completed the job then made excuses for their poor quality of work received my vehicle with broken trunk spoiler I had to hear about how much pay workers were receiving, and instead of just fixing the imperfections in the paint Michael told me that it would be like painting my vehicle over again, so as a customer of this establishment I would never return and I would never refer friends or family or anyone if asked.

This body shop cannot be trusted! Simple as that. Do not go here to get your car fixed. Overpriced and people cannot be trusted!!

This is the third time that I took one of my cars in for repair. They did excellent jobs at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

I took this car to this body shop twice for both upgrades; one for the bumper and lip and the other for the trunk and wing. Galaxy Auto Haus did a great job for all aspects of the upgrade, from paint matching to panel fitment. I really can't tell that the paint on the bumper, trunk, and body are not from the same painting run; the color match on these panels is that good. Pricing was pretty fair and Honorio was very meticulous when it came to getting all of the details right. If I have another kind of project for a car like this, I know that these guys will get it done right.

UPDATE: It's fascinating how some people can lie straight to…read moreyour face. I never said this job should cost only $200-$300. What I said was that it would take approximately 2-3 hours to respray a bumper that is already removed and disassembled, and that only requires scuffing with a Scotch-Brite pad to create proper adhesion before spraying. Second, your estimator attempted to upsell full respraying of both fenders on a practically new 2024 Mazda CX-5 for $1,600, so please don't claim the quote was based on the vehicle's condition or imply that it is in poor shape. The car is literally new. This is a classic upselling tactic--you wouldn't even fully respray the panels; you would blend them and increase your profit at an astronomical price. The bumper itself requires virtually no preparation and at most 6-7 coats with 5-minute flash times, so my 2-3 hour estimate was generous. At the midpoint, I stated that $100 would go toward materials such as paint and clear coat. That figure is based on what I can purchase it for myself, as I received several quotes. I am not buying in bulk or leveraging large volumes the way you do, so my estimate is not far from reality. It's a small bumper overall. As for spray booth time--you don't have one, and you would never rent one for a job this small. An important detail: I know how to paint and understand exactly how this work is done. Overall, I requested an online quote first and sent photos in advance. That request was dodged. Instead, I was pushed to come in person--so additional, unnecessary labor I never asked for could be "found" to justify the price. Lastly, I never said the bumper was painted twice. It was professionally painted, but the pearl component did not turn out to my liking. I came to your shop because you claimed you had matched this color before, yet your estimator was unable to name a single model you had matched it on. Nor did you provide any proof that you were capable of doing so. I don't mind paying extra for work that has already been done correctly, but after seeing these tactics and reading outright false statements, I'm glad I walked away. The "obstacles" your estimator tried to create included: 1. Searching for minor hairline scratches to justify repainting two additional panels on a new vehicle 2. Claiming shops don't like it when parts are already prepped or disassembled 3. Taking photos to point out alleged color differences between panels on a new car

I only discovered it once I got home. When I confronted the shop owner, Pat, he admitted to the damages but communication from that point on became challenging and more difficult than it needed to be. There were long gaps without his response and at times the tone felt dismissive or unnecessarily tense, which made the situation even more stressful. I've made many attempts to work with Pat to find a fair and reasonable solution. To this day, I'm actually still waiting for a reply to my last message asking again to discuss a reasonable solution. After repeated non-responses and apathetic communication, it became clear that no compromise would be reached. The only option he is willing to offer is the one solution I clearly stated I'm not comfortable with: bringing my car back this same shop that damaged it in the first place. Given the damages my car received from 5 Stars Automotive, my hesitation is understandable. I even tried to negotiate a different solution by providing multiple repair estimates from other reputable auto shops and he responded by calling this practice "dishonest" (very ironic, I know). I'm leaving this review because I believe it's important to be transparent about my experience. I put my trust in this shop to restore my car's appearance, but instead I'm forced to deal with additional damages they caused.

I had to call AAA to get the tow and wanted to make sure I got to Carmona's by 8am as I understand they close early on Saturday. We pulled up to the shop maybe by 7:30am. Tow truck guy was cool with waiting, he knew the shop opened at 8am, so did I. Cool. A worker was outside of the shop on the phone and told us (on his own btw) his boss would be here soon, cool. Didn't request any special treatment nor did we ever ask if he could let us in early. Now, tell me WHY the owner pulls up like 15 mins later around 7:45am and LITERALLY cusses out the worker, going off about "I don't give a f***, doesn't matter, WE OPEN AT 8" and when I tell you he MADE SURE he was loud enough for us to hear him. Cussing like crazy bro. Mind you, we NEVER ASKED TO BE LET IN EARLY. It was so uncalled for, so immature. Grown man btw. Extremely rude and so unbelievably unprofessional. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I lost all faith in leaving my car there and took my business elsewhere.
