We got our fence from Tri County and I highly recommend. Getting a quote was easy, everyone in the office was very responsive and they actually fit us in sooner than they originally promised. Our fence was reasonably priced (we got a bunch of quotes, they were all about the same to be honest) and it looks very crisp and sturdy. I do wish I'd asked about the door hardware. We would have paid up for a more sturdy set on both doors- as is it we are going to replace it in the spring. I was surprised that the guys that came to install the fence did not appear to work for Tri County- it looks like they contract out. ThAts really my only negative feedback- I wish someone from Tri County came out to see the work or check in, the guys installing were fast and efficient but neither spoke much English and it was off-putting to have a team that didn't seem connected with Tri County doing the work, after we contracted with Tri County. They did do a great job though and they got a big fence done all in one day- amazing. If they just got one of those magnets for the side of their truck that says Tri County and slap it on there when they are doing work for that brand, I would have never known the difference. read more

We hired Tri County to install a privacy fence in our backyard. Our house was very new to us and there was no fence at all when we bought it (other than the neighbors' fences). The company was prompt with installing fence. However the latch on the gate broke shortly after and we contacted the company several times without avail. The company even set up 'appointment' times to come fix the gate but never showed up. Very unprofessional. I am disappointed with their customer service. read more

These guys are the real deal. I am using Home Depot since they have a 24 month same-as-cash deal, but luckily, HD subs the work out to these guys. They are super-responsive, friendly and so professional. I worked with Carleton, Sue and Lisa, all terrific. Their installers came the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and were working way past sundown, in the cold, to finish the job. The house was new (to me) and there is almost no lighting in the area but they just kept on working with those helmets with the lights on. You can't go wrong with this company! read more

I scheduled an estimator appointment for 10:30am several days in advance. The guy called the day before and told me he would not make it at that time because he was overbooked. That he might be able to "swing by" at 3-4pm. Not only did he not show up, he didn't notify me. I had to call him. When he finally got back with me late Friday (notably I had to call him), I was informed that he was booked thru the next week, basically stating I was not a priority and he didn't know when he would be able to provide an estimate. I have left a message with management. I'll post back here if/when someone decides to call me. Good luck to that person, because I'm fit to be tied. I'm furious. I waited around all afternoon for him to arrive, when I had plenty of other obligations. read more

We hired tri county fence and deck to put in a flatboard fence along two sides of our property where existing dilapidated fences belonged both to us and several abutters. It was a long and complicated process to permit the job because of historic preservation rules, county permitting, and getting abutter consensus. Susan from Tri county worked with us through this process and when the crew arrived we were impressed by how polite and hard working they were, which cannot always be said for contractors that do hard construction labor. Tri-County installed a vinyl privacy fence for our half-acre backyard and aluminum fence in our front yard. Their price was competitive and the installation was top notch. We experienced on issue with reflection from our solar windows reflecting against three of the vinyl panels. This wasn't anticipated when the installation was done. We didn't believe this was possible, but with a south facing house, you can feel the reflected heat from the sun off the windows. It actually feels like a heat lamp. Long story short, Tri-County replaced the warped panels at their expense. Excellent customer service. We would use them again and recommend them to our friends and family. read more

We had a deck built by this company in August 2013 and not even three years later the screws are popping and the boards are warping. We contacted the company within the fist year as we started to see screws pop and they wee not helpful. The stair rail board was begun to be cut and they realized it was wrong and stopped and recut longer leaving the fist cut mark. Something we did not notice right away. I would not recommend this company as we spent about $15k on a deck and it is already in terrible shape. read more
