I would not recommend EVER going to them for transmission work, brought my car in because it felt…read morelike it was trans related. they did a a test to see what was wrong and said it was the torque converter. was told there was other problems but things they could not do. I specifically asked if I should do the other stuff first or would the trans fix the problem they said trans had to be done first, I get it back 3 weeks later and it drove the exact same if not worse. they said they test drove it but the odometer said 1.1 miles. so it obviously wasn't driven long enough to know. picked it up and only made it 2 miles away to take it back to them for them to tell me to go to another place work it was actually fixed for the real problem, untrustworthy people who don't deserve your hard earned money. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I called pro bilt and they said it needed reprogrammed and they could do it and get it on the road in 30 mins. I took the car that afternoon and dudes son had left early so he would have to do it the next day. He then asked me what was done to the car and asked if the car was tuned and i had to tell him multiple times the car has been tuned. He called me the next day and told me he tried 4 times and it wouldnt work then proceeded to try and sell me a transmission that was rebuilt with a 1 year 12000 mile warranty. I get there to pick up the car and he tells me that him having to try so many times reset the tune on the car to the factory tune. And then tells me the transmission he wants to sell me i have to pay first and wait for him to get the transmission and its a used transmission with over 100k miles and for me to run it in my car I can't put my stall converter on it cause it voids the warranty and the transmission is 2800$. So now my car doesn't run transmission still doesn't work and I'm out 1300 for the tune plus the 300 i had to pay him to screw up my car. Pro bilt transmissions in Wilmington has no clue what they are doing and is a scam

They did fix the Chevy shake in my Escalade however it cost me $10,000 on a 2017 Escalade!!!!!!!!…read moreThey repaired the camshaft and had to fix a sensor problem. That is a known defect in the Chevy engine. I wish they could have replaced the entire engine for that cost, but they did not have an engine available and could not find one. After waiting for over two months for them to repair it I finally got the car back, but the tires still have an issue, almost a skipping! On the upside, I could not find anyone else to fix the issue with the car so I was in a position where I was grateful that they did repair it. Zack who answers the phone there is a very nice guy- "yes" there's always the answer no matter what the question... ‍ Is that good or bad? You tell me... The price of repairing a camshaft here $$,$$$.00 was Your thoughts!?!? Once the engine is apart when you bring it somewhere and they have to take it apart repeatedly and charge you labor every time this is the price you pay...

Simple part to replace they even told me once I got a hold of them the replacement is 30 min and the diag was an hour. Not sure why I got it back the next Monday. Told them I have to leave Friday or a trip they said it would be done Friday. Never called me, missed my trip. Turns out it was fixed Friday but I never got a call and they closed without informing me "we fixed it Friday but 3:58 hit and we all left the shop, all we needed to do was test drive it" ridiculous
