I've been battling rats for months with some successes but more failures. After speaking to a company that was beyond my budget I thought I would try Tri County based on the reviews. I was very happy talking to Benjamin Boothe as he listened to me and was willing to work together with me to help. Grover came out and surprised me with his knowledge of construction and how many areas I did not realize were places the critters could gain access. They scheduled with me and accomplished what I was hoping for at a realistic price for me. I too have been actively trying to do what I could. 2 days after they were here I have not seen any new evidence of a problem. THE GOOD: Tri County Trappers did what they said they would do. They flushed out a mama raccoon and her 2 babies. Then they blocked the 3 suspected entrances the raccoon may have used to get into the attic of our house. They also patched two 4" holes I made in the drywall when I was trying to find where the raccoons were. In all, they made 4 visits to our house over about a weeklong period. They were polite and friendly. THE NOT SO GOOD: After they were finished, I received an invoice that included a charge that was not on the original estimate. It was labeled, "CC Fee" for $34.50. The invoice showed they already charged my credit card. (They ask for your credit card info after the first phase of the work is completed). I sent 2 emails and a text to them asking what the fee was and why it wasn't included on the original estimate. They never responded. The invoice has a "Pay Now" icon to click to make the payment, so it's possible they will deduct the full amount from a customer's card and the customer may click the "Pay Now" icon, resulting in a double payment. Not a good business practice in my opinion. Finally, they have no decals of their company name on their trucks so it makes one wonder if they are legit. Ultimately, I think they did what they said they would do, and except for the CC Fee, I would still recommend them. read more

Ocvector.org/rats (714) 971-2421 I didn't have a good experience with this company. Not only did they try to charge me over $11,900.00 for rat exclusion, but they have unprofessional staff, Grover, who was trying to get me to agree to mold remediation and sealing outsides of my windows (which is not pest related). Once I asked if they had licenses to do all those, they suddenly changed their demeanor. They took me to small claims court and blamed me for their inability to do their job and demanded $5,000 for cleaning a crawlspace. They charged another $5,000 for paving a 180sq ft space around my manufactured home and could not make it straight, so they made the executive decision to remove all pavers altogether, after I asked them if they had a license for pavers because it was not even. Be careful. It has been a horrible experience. Very prompt and on time, excellent customer service as they will bend over backwards to give you a great customer satisfaction, but difficult to communicate once work has been started. I am still not sure why there were never traps set. I wanted to see before pictures, and to this day haven't seen them. Unanswered questions, but only payment threats, emails through Levelset.com that a mechanics lien has been placed through 4 other companies I've never heard before. read more

A few weeks ago, we had a rat problem brewing in our garage and attic. Mike and the guys with Tri County Trappers took care of us quickly and gave a great quote! Tri County Trappers i thought they were too high in prices.. but i called others and they were so out to lunch that it made Tri County Trappers look like they were under charging their customers.. They do what they say they do and complete it with total professionalism, they will come to your home and check to see not only the problem at hand but check for possible future entry of your outside wild animals that want to make your home their home. Other companies may do extra work that is not required and charge you for unecessary work, I knew what i wanted to be done and they did what i thought was best and no more, meaning no unecessay work that alot of gullible people may authorized, just because they charge more doesn't mean they are better, other companies just take advantage cause most of use city slickers are not used to deal with wild animals and freak out when they are in the attic and will agree with the first company that will say they will take care of it and dont say they will charge you up the nose cause you just dont know what is only necessary and you may think the extra 100s of dollars they charge you is quality. Just beware of other companies that are out there, this is not brain surgery.. this is just a animal removal and or deterrent of its getting back in, how simple is that. The first photo is where the local Racoon was comming in and the 2nd photo is just a fix on the side of the house so rats or other creepy crawlers wont get in... and most of all they dont charge for sealing up the entry or other possible entry points.. how great of a deal was that. I've had gopher issues at my home every year. I've tried out different companies and referrals before coming across TriCounty. These guys are great. My sisters place had these annoying sounds and scratching from their attic. It would stop sometimes and start again after a day or 2. I called mike trying to get same day service and it was around 10:30am. We had a rat that we have been trying to get for a few months. He said no problem and had me scheduled for the same afternoon. Crows had built a substantial nest in my chimney. The chimney is located on the edge of the roof and because I live on a hillside the drop off from that roof is quite severe. I was having problems finding someone to come out and clear out the nest and make it bird proof until I called Tri-County Trappers. They responded to my inquiries quickly and set up an appointment to come out and take care of the problem within a couple of days. Matt was the technician and he came out and removed the nest and debris, disinfected the area and put wire mesh around the chimney so that another nest couldn't be built.
