They had a 4 course prix fixe option for a soup, appetizer or dimsum, entree and dessert which is a great deal. The duck was on the dry side but still good, ribs were amazing, tomahawk was also great, fish was good but fish was kind of small, soups were not bad and the mochi dessert was nice. Service was great, [[HIGHLIGHT]]atmosphere is nice with the cultural decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would night recommend!
This spot is the BEST spot for beef dishes oh em GEE. The truffle beef was phenomenal I seriously don't know if I ever had something so unique and tasty. They have a pre fix menu that comes with an appetizer or dimsum, soup, entree, and dessert all for $39 and the entree alone was $29 so def a good deal! The wonton soup could have been saltier and the chili wontons could have been spicier but the beef dishes alone made he forget, the dessert is also amazing ! They have happy hour deals but you need to sit at the bar for the offers, which consist of $4 appetizers so pretty cool! [[HIGHLIGHT]]LIC has so many nice spots and this is def one of them. Modern Chinese restaurant located in LIC with good four course prix fixe lunch and dinner deals ($25 for lunch and $39 for dinner). One prix fixe is a lot of food for one person! You can choose any entree and appetizer from the menu plus it includes a dessert and soup. The entrees are large enough to be shared between 2 people. The sizes are the same as ordering from the main menu. We were a group of 5 and decided on two prix fixe orders and two additional entrees. We struggled to finish everything and left stuffed. The food is pretty good but not really authentic; it's more modern. Some dishes were a bit too salty. The beef chow fun was not the flat noodles that we were expecting. It was a thin rice noodle and was lacking the caramelized flavor that we were used to. It was a tad too salty. Not a fan. The golden shrimp is a shrimp dish with salted egg yolk. It was ok but salty due to the yolk. The tomahawk short ribs were huge and was very good. Some pieces were tough while others were tender though. The crispy red snapper is a sweet and sour fish dish. Sauce was a bit too salty. The black cod dumplings were bland. The calamari was delicious with the provided sauce. The tom yum soup has a very strong spicy and sour kick but was enjoyable. The creme brulee was delicious; eggy and the perfect sweetness!
When I'm out with my ladies, we just want to find a happy hour that's worth it and makes us happy. We ordered all the appetizers on the happy hour menu and told the bartender to keep the happy drinks coming until we said stop. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really enjoyed both my company and the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff here is very friendly. I strongly suggest everyone check out this Chinese restaurant. It looks like they increased their $33 dinner deal to $39 since the last time I went, but it's still relatively good value. They also don't seem to have the lunch deal on the weekend, just the dinner deal all day. For the deal, you can get 1 app/dimsum, 1 soup, 1entree, 1 rice, and 1 dessert for $39. I went for lunch on a Saturday and for 3 people we ordered the deal + 1 additional vegetable. Crispy fried chicken wings: these were probably my favorite. Also comes with fries Short rib: a bit tough but was a decent portion. Worth the value Sautéed watercress: we originally wanted spinach but they were out, this was also good. There were random small snail shells which honestly not sure if that was supposed to be in it. Tom yum soup and mochi ice cream dessert weren't memorable. They charge extra for rice Our total this time came out to $24 pp which was fine. We also had a little bit of leftover meat + rice that I took home and my husband had for lunch. The other time I came I remember I really liked the crispy red snapper. Food was AMAZING!!! The tom yum soup tasted so fresh and had a nice kick to it if you enjoy spicy. The appetizers below were also so crunchy and full of flavor. The best of all which is not pictured unfortunately is the Cumin Lamb. I would come back over and over again just for that lamb!!! Pretty nice restaurant in the heart of LIC. For the lunch set, I started off with a wonton soup (decent with three hearty wontons), the Wagyu short rib dumplings (I liked the shredded wagyu style which gave it a nice bite), Black Truffle with beef cubes (this was so good! It was served with long rice cakes and the sweet truffle sauce coated each piece and was just scrumptious. The beef pieces were similar to the ones you get in a beef stew, so some pieces could be chewy), and finally Crème Brûlée (really good for an Asian restaurant). I also got to try the Butter black cod dumplings (this was meh, couldn't tell what I was eating), Cantonese steamed black Seabass (a good size pieced steamed perfectly) and Chocolate lava cake (also very good). Service was a little all over the place since we were a huge group, but overall I would come back to try their other dishes.

Braised beef noodle soup is good. The soup is flavorful but salty. The braised beef is delicious and the noodle is cooked well and soft. The portion is small.
Keeping it real out here in LIC Their pre fix menu is actually insane. For $33 we were expecting tiny appetizer, alright sized entree and tiny dessert but everything actually came out supersized. Each of the appetizers alone can be shareable for 3 ppl, they're actual entree size appetizers. We were all pretty full before the entree even showed up. I came here for their dinner service and got to try their $33 course set! The interior of the restaurant is a lot bigger than I expected and is a nicer Chinese spot in LIC. Service here is good. Their $33 4-course set is actually a major steal! From their menu, you get a choice of soup, appetizer, entree, and dessert. While I thought that the portions would be significantly smaller, what we got were generous shares of each plate (I'm pretty sure it's the same as if you would have ordered the dish separately). My friend and I got the wonton soup, tom yum soup, beef ribs, pork and crab XLB, beef truffle cubes, spicy chicken, and both of the dessert options. Everything was pretty solid. Although I wouldn't say that it's the best Chinese food I've had in LIC, I do think that it is the best deal and I would definitely come back to do this course again!
Went for a restaurant week meal. Again, you need to all for the restaurant week menu. The deal is pretty amazing. It includes a cocktail, soup, appetizer, entre and dessert! The wonton soup lacked flavor, the wontons were packed full of meat... that had no flavor.. the best part of the soup was the fried onions floating in it for garnish...I was told that tom yum soup was awesome. The cocktail was good, I had the josei. The yuzu tree was also good. There were a few missteps with the service. After we got the appetizers we got the bill?! It was taken back.. but still... and as soon as we recieved the soup, they brought out the popcorn chicken appetizer.... way too early.. and the only appetizer at that time... The popcorn chicken was was well seasoned, but the chicken was stringy... The wagyu pot stickers, were not good at all. The beef was not good.. I've never had wagyu that I didn't like before ... they weren't put stickers either.. they were very thin skinned steamed dumplings, and they were stuffed .. but none of it was flavorful. The spring rolls were fine.. the beef rib appetizer was huge, included 3 ribs. It was delicious, soft and well seasoned, slightly spicy.. it was the winner of the night. The pork belly looked good. The truffle shirt rib dish was very good. The general tso's chicken was presented very nicely, tasted like fast food Chinese food.. which is good, but not what you'd expect at a fine dining restaurant with very nice decor and cloth table linens... the creme brule was good.. the mochi ice cream was not. The mochi skin tasted old, hard and dry.. the ice cream was good.
Food was ok, not delicious but not horrible either. I came here for dinner with my family and had a great first experience. We made a reservation, although there were plenty of tables available for walk-ins. If you're dining with a larger group, I would still recommend making a reservation. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is spacious and offers an extensive menu featuring a variety of Chinese dishes, from Cantonese to Szechuan cuisine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In addition to the regular menu, Jing Li offers a four-course prix fixe menu for both lunch ($25) and dinner ($39). We chose the dinner prix fixe menu, which included a choice of hot and sour, wonton, or tom yum soup; any appetizer or dim sum; any entrée; and dessert, with options of crème brûlée or mochi ice cream. Since it was our first visit, I can't compare the portion sizes to those from the regular menu, but the dishes we received appeared to be full-sized rather than reduced portions. Overall, the prix fixe menu offered excellent value and provided a great way to sample a variety of dishes. We ordered: -hot and sour soup x 2 -wonton soup x 2 -pork soup dumplings (5pcs) x 2 -wagyu beef dumplings (4pcs) -wagyu beef egg rolls (2pcs) -crispy brined duck -tomahawk short ribs -braised beef flank clay pot -black truffle with rib strips -creme brûlée x 4 -white rice x 4 Everything we ordered was delicious, but since we chose mostly beef dishes, many of the flavors ended up tasting similar. I realized Happy Hour is popular which I can tell. But when I got there around 16:10, almost all the seats were occupied. I was lucky that I could get a seat. This time, the bottled beers I ordered were all sufficiently cold. The broccoli and the sautéed cabbage were both good. read more

Came here for my birthday dinner on a cool fall evening. Highly recommend their 4-course Option where you can pick a soup, appetizer, entrée, and dessert. We got the hot and sour soup and wonton soup, Wagyu beef, potstickers, and popcorn chicken, peppercorn, fish, and beef cubes, and one of each dessert (crème brûlée and mochi ice cream). So so so amazing. A definite new favorite. Me and my boyfriend popped in on Valentines because we both forgot to make reservations and decided to just see how long the wait would be. Imagines to our surprise, that they had a table! The place was pretty full so we felt extremely lucky. We both ordered their dinner special in which you get a soup, an appetizer, an entree and a dessert for $33. We ended up sharing most of what we each ordered and I really didn't have anything I disliked. The service was amazing. Me and my boyfriend were so indecisive about what to order that when we finally did decide to order and flag a waiter, the waiter seemed shocked and asked if no one had taken our order. We reassured him that it was on us, as we couldn't decide! For a place with a space as big as it was, a waiter was always there to get my next drink order. A personal favorite was the tea ceremony. I'd also like to mention that when I saw my braised beef appetizer, it was so massive I had to set it aside, the waiter asked if there was something wrong with it and I told him it was perfect! Just had to leave room in my stomach for more. I wish this place was more popular since the drinks, the service and the food were all amazing. The only recommendation I would give, is to dim the lighting for a more relaxed vibe. Some of my dinner favorites were: Mano tofu: ma la spicy, amazing. I loved it. I got this a la carte just because I had to try it and I would definitely order this again Braised beef and tendon in chili oil: one of my appetizers and god, this portion is huge. I took this home and it was my lunch the next day. Thai basil beef tenderloin: so good, so tender, no complaints. Honestly wow - easily one of my new favorite restaurants! Staff are super nice and the interior is beautiful. The only thing lacking in flavor was the chow fun as it was a little bland, but everything else was very well flavored so it was almost like a palate cleanser haha. My favorite was the truffle prawns tempura and the calamari (and i don't even like calamari usually). The tempura was crispy yet soft on the inside and the calamari had a nice kick to it. You can never go wrong with shumai and fried rice, but even the sweet and sour pork was such a hit! read more

A perfect late-night find on our first and last nights in NYC This restaurant truly holds a special place in our New York trip. On our first night in NYC, we arrived at our hotel exhausted and hungry after a long journey. It was already around 11:00 PM, and almost everything near our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) was closed -- except this place. We decided to give it a try, and we were so glad we did. The food was delicious, comforting, and exceeded our expectations. My family enjoyed their meals, and it was exactly what we needed after such a long day. Because of that great experience, we made it a point to come back for our last dinner in NYC on December 22, and once again, we were not disappointed. A special shout-out to Amy, who served us that night. From the moment we arrived until we left, she was incredibly kind, warm, and friendly. She took the time to chat with us, making us feel truly welcome and cared for. Thank you for being there for us when we needed a good meal the most -- not once, but twice. Came here for their promotional prix fixe meal and it was the best deal I've come across during my time in New York. For $25 at lunch ($33 at dinner), you can select a soup, appetizer, entree, and dessert. And let me just say - their portions are HUGE without compromising quality. My favorite were the appetizer beef ribes that came with three huge pieces that were crisp and juicy. I also tried the golden tofu, which tasted like nothing I'd ever had before but would highly recommend trying. Overall, great experience. Scouted out Jing Li on yelp due to their dinner pre-fixe deal. Not many places that you can get a soup, appetizer, entree and dessert for $40! I had also seen an Instagram video that caught my eye, so I was hooked. Overall I enjoyed my food but I felt like there were a few things that could've been tweaked to make it a 4 or 5 star experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a reservation, so I was a little disappointed with the seating. The restaurant is huge and there were plenty of tables open in the back of the restaurant which were a little more secluded. Unfortunately we were right near the front door and windows so on a cold night you really feel the chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I almost thought about putting my jacket on toward the end of dinner. Soup and appetizers came out and I enjoyed them. The soup dumplings though were tiiiiny! They reminded me of the ones you get from Trader Joe's. The wagyu wontons and popcorn chicken were definitely the way to go for other apps. I ordered the crispy brined duck for the entree and I liked but didn't absolutely love it. My husband's food did not arrive so they realized there was a kitchen error and it came about 5-10 minutes after mine and our friend's entrees. Things happen but it would've been nice to get a beer comped or something. The creme brûlée for dessert was tasty and a nice alternative to your typical mochi ice cream you might get at an Asian pre-fixe dinner. So overall the experience ended up somewhere in the middle and unfortunately social media hype did not 100% live up to expectations. read more
The restaurant is nice but they were playing very loud club music and destroyed the whole ambiance. Service is friendly but not attentive. I asked multiple times for an empty bowl as we were sharing food, but they never brought it. Food tasted meh. The lychee prawn cake was nicely presented but tasted like tater tots, no prawn taste at all. The Dan Dan noodles were bland as were the dumplings. The Yuxiang eggplant was ok. Stumbled upon Jing Li while in LIC and decided to try their prix fixe dinner. The menu is huge, and my Chinese friend noted some translations didn't match the actual dishes. We ordered a variety to share for our pre fixe meal such as the black truffle beef cubes, spicy century egg clay pot, very spicy cumin lamb, and soups (seafood bisque and tom yum). Sadly, they were out of the black golden creamy bun, so we got the cucumber salad instead. Portions were generous, and the meal came with rice and dessert (creme brûlée). Jingli in LIC has quickly become my go-to for authentic Chinese food! The combination of affordability, amazing flavors, and great service makes this place stand out. Specializing in Szechuan, Shanghai, and Cantonese cuisine, they offer a wide variety of dishes that are seriously next level. The Chicken Mongolia Jue Jue Pot is my favorite, so flavorful! And the Mala Dry Pot--the portions are huge, perfect for sharing, and the spice level is just right. If you're looking for a hidden gem in LIC, this is it! Definitely worth checking. I went here late night after a show - it was 1am and this was one of several spots open. We went as a party of 5 and got seated at one of the tables with ample space. We ordered the following: - Black truffle fried rice - so flavorful and there was a good amount of beef. Our group pretty much inhaled this dish within a few minutes! - Chef's fried rice with shrimp - fairly delicious and surprising that shrimp add on was less than beef, but I guess that's because they don't give that much shrimp. It came suspiciously fast so we'd wonder if they prepared it a while ago and just microwave it - Szechuan crispy fried wings - more like fried wings since there's a stingy amount of chili oil. It was still good. It's interesting this came out as one of the last dishes - Crispy pork back ribs - also fried, yet flavorful. Also came out as one of the last dishes despite being an appetizer - Yu Xiang eggplant - I don't like eggplant so I didn't eat much of this dish, but it was quite flavorful - Mongolian jue jue pot with beef - the beef here is so tender and the onions and other accompaniments made this a very flavorful and satisfying dish. It is a bit pricey, however. Food is good for late night but I wouldn't go here during daytime lunch or dinner since there are better options out there. Ate here today for lunch and dinner after work as a substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 234 Q. I had ate, ordered and ate the spicy cucumber salad as an appetizer, the dried hot pot as an entree and mochi ice cream for dessert. The service there was also attentive, pleasant and friendly and many thanks to the server named Sean for serving up my meals with a smile and delight. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time and if I do come back I can show my 5 star review on Yelp to get a free cocktail and then eat a different dish with it! :D read more
The architecture is stunning. Feels like a palace inside The staff was wonderful. I mean wonderful and unforgettable. Sean was the best waiter of my life. Juan was a fantastic manager and the front staff, back staff too. Thank you for a memorable night. The drinks were great. I ordered the yuzu tree and Samuri cocktail. Both wonderful. Samurai had a blueberry taste. Best drink this summer. The Spanish water vegetable was 10 star fantastic. Fresh and flavorful. I likec the Mongolian jue jue chicken. It had fresh veggies and a nice cumin taste. The yang zapu fried rice was good. The popcorn chicken was good. Liked the slight hint or spice. The pumpkin mocha was awesome. The crem brule delicious. Good selection of chinese food with traditional decoration, we ordered eggplant century egg claypot, beef jue jue pot and mala shrimp. All three were delicious and definitely had that szechuan kick that we love! The ambiance is casual and there's happy hours Mon-fri (til closing) at the front bar and table and weekend HH til 2-7pm at the bar only. Definitely will try to come back for those! I personally felt rushed by the servers to place an order but other than that, solid restaurant! read more

Pork soup dumplings look worse than microwaved dog food. They're not even soup dumplings. It's wontons. Fried rice has no color and i could taste more flavor when I had covid. Used to be pretty solid but now has gone to absolute depths of hell read more
