The fries were perfectly cooked and paired well with the ketchup. My friend shared the appetizer with me and ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad, which she enjoyed alongside one of the wine tasting flights. The real surprise of the evening came after dinner. Our host handed us a card with a password to access the speakeasy downstairs. If you visit Mission Winery, don't skip this part. The speakeasy had a completely different atmosphere from the restaurant above and quickly became the highlight of the night. The space feels intimate, sophisticated, and thoughtfully designed, with dark wood accents, comfortable seating, and a stylish lounge vibe. My friend and I both ordered espresso martinis, and they were fantastic. The presentation alone was impressive--the unique glassware was chilled and helped keep the cocktail cold longer, allowing us to enjoy it at a relaxed pace. Between the excellent food, wine, creative cocktails, and the hidden speakeasy experience, Mission Winery offers much more than just a typical dinner out. The only standout was the French toast, which was actually really good--and honestly the only reason this review isn't one star.
