I came for a quick bite after the Thanksgiving market and our service was quick and efficient! We were in and out probably within 20-30 minutes. We ordered the nachos and patty melt - the patty melt was delicious!! Very fresh and filling, fries were hot and crispy. The nachos were pretty good for not having any meat on it. Our server was amazing and brought everything quickly and got us in and out just as we were hoping (without rushing us)!

This is one of our favorite places to go-- morning (brunch), noon or night! That have fun cocktail specials each month and $12 mimosa carafes (OJ, pineapple or cranberry) all the time. The hummus plate is a great app to share with whipped feta and drizzled honey- served with veggies and pita (so for sharing GF & G-filled alike)! Their burgers live up to the name for the Char-bar and have a nice flavor. I also quite enjoy their rice bowl with blackened chicken. Plenty of seating inside and out. Parking is the only downside here, but after many of the surrounding businesses in the Avondale area close, this becomes less of an issue. The staff are welcoming and friendly and will accommodate most sized-parties.

Great atmosphere, great food, great prices, and great service. If you're looking for a low-key and fun dining experience, this is the place. It has indoor/outdoor seating and fun, colorful decorations. Burgers seemed to be their specialty. I got the spinach salad. Others at the table got burgers, sandwiches, and chicken sandwiches. The mocktails were delicious. Highly recommend trying Triangle! Only consideration is the small parking lot, so plan ahead.

A great get together wishing a very talented guy farewell. Pedro Toro best wishes and a safe trip to take care of your Mom. It wasn't too crowded so we had plenty of quiet time to share. We enjoyed our luncheon with family and friends. I had the Salmon and asparagus which was very good. I had to finish a delicious lunch with a loaded Reese's Shortcake loaded with Reese's pnut butter cups and whipped cream. Always an enjoyable place to have fellowship food with Family and Friends. Parking is available but can get packed quickly.

Service was amazing by the employee with the beard and black hat! Food was so tasty and yummy. For a random spot in the block I'm shocked to find this spot hit the spot! Will definitely come back if I'm ever in SC.

Saw this place on way out of town; was looking for late lunch options. Food was great-we had the brisket-Mac lollipops, Low country egg rolls, and burger with sweet sticks (sweet potato fries dusted in cinnamon sugar) with apple butter. Apple crisp for dessert! Staff was so nice and efficient, laid back, casual with great food!

My girlfriends and I tried Triangle in West Ashley for brunch since we hadn't been there in several years. The place was bustling when we got there and we had to wait maybe 10 minutes for a table, but that was ok since we got some mimosas at the bar while we waited. For our food My friend next to me got the Hog Wild Frittata which had pimento cheese, caramelized onions, scallions, cheese and pulled pork BBQ on top of fluffy eggs. She ate every single bite of it. My other 2 friends both got the Chorizo Hash that was served atop crispy home fries with chorizo, onions, peppers, cheese, scallions, sunny egg and drizzled with a lime crema. They both said it was really good and filling. I got the Captains Breakfast Quesadilla, which isn't like a normal breakfast burrito. Instead of sausage or bacon in it, it had grilled shrimp as the protein. The quesadilla was huge and very good. Additionally, our server was extremely friendly and helpful.

Triangle has definitely stepped up their game recently! I had Sunday brunch here last weekend and we were so pleased with the whole experience. I had the steak fritatta and a couple mimosas. The fritatta was delicious and the carafe of mimosas was just what we needed! The service was excellent and I would definitely return again soon!

The food was so good I COULD NOT STOP EATING . The service was so fast it was blinding. The ambiance was good fr there were rainbow lights. Also my cousin thought the drinks were so good she drank 2 pitchers of sweet tea. (lol)

my hand, which is big but i'm not a giant, and my tiny bacon cheeseburger and a few fries

I usually am not a review person, but this has gotten under my skin for a few days so here goes. I remember when this place opened years ago and we ate there often. They even sponsored my daughter's rec softball team and we ate there as a family a good bit. I moved to another part of town about 12 years ago from WA, and haven't been much. My daughter and her husband can walk there from their apt, so I met her Sat night. We were going to Gene's but I found a parking spot at Triangle so we went in. She said she doesn't eat there because they can't afford it, but I told her I was paying. She was very right. In the past, you'd never find a parking spot. When you went in, you sat outside waiting for a table, and never found one on the patio. It was 7:00 Sat night and when we got there, the left side was virtually empty. The bar had about 2 people, and there were plenty of chairs available out on the patio area. I was curious because it was a beautiful night, but after checking out the menu I saw why. First, I will tell you the server was very good. He was promptly there, took our drink orders, came back with them and took our order. Nothing took long and I was pretty happy. I didn't get his name because even though there were only a handful of people there, It was very loud. All I wanted was a cheeseburger. I like just a bacon cheeseburger with a few condiments, and nothing else. I thought it was a misprint, but it said $16 for a "plane jane". If you added bacon it went up $2.50. That is more than I have ever paid for a hamburger, but I was with my daughter and was hungry so I did. I expected it to be HUGE, like Fudruckers used to be. When it came out, I was floored (see photo below). I told my daughter we could've gone to Cookout and both got the same burger with more fries, PLUS a drink and a corn dog and paid less. Next time we will. I will also tell you it's not the cook's fault either as the burger tasted good, it was just gone in about 3 bites. I know prices have gone way up, and that's the biggest reason they were empty. It has turned us off of going out and we used to eat out 2-3 nights a week, particularly at a local place. I love to support the locals and usually don't eat at the chain places. But this is my last time there and i'm sure if they're charging $18.50 for a burger and a few fries, most other places are as well. The gut punch was when I went to Aldi's the next morning and filled my cart up with pretty much the same food that would feed 10 people and paid the same price as my burger and my daughter's sandwich. I thank the server for his service, and the chef for tasty burger, but the owners have made it clear they don't need someone without Trump money eating there. If you are going to raise the prices and make the same volume with 1/3 of your guests, it's not a long-term recipe for future success.

Triangle Char & Bar is still a good choice for pub grub in West Ashley/Avondale. I've returned many times since my review and haven't been disappointed. The brunch specials and burgers are good, including the black bean burger. You can find the latest specials on their Instagram or on signs in the restaurant. The prices are fair for the portion you receive. I do agree with a previous reviewer that the sweet potato fries are way too sweet and more like a dessert. Mimosas are always cheap and go down easy! Triangle sponsors local events such as the Avondale 5K, where they host an epic after party at the run/walk finish line, and proceeds benefit the Charles Webb Center. I'm glad to see a local business helping nonprofit organizations and special needs kids. The parking lot is small, so I usually park down the street at the grocery store (Harris Teeter) and walk over, then pick up any groceries I need.

Every single person we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and more than happy to give recommendations, which was much needed because everything sounded amazing. They even played along with our Christmas party raffle games, which made the night extra fun. Such a cool, welcoming vibe. For appetizers, we shared the lemon ricotta dip, the Dippin' Shrimp, the spinach artichoke dip, and a spicy Caesar salad. Everything was absolutely delicious. For my main course, I ordered the pecan-crusted chicken with a side of Brussels sprouts, and wow. Phenomenal. Huge portions, incredible flavor, and we were all stuffed by the end. Amazing service, amazing food, and an overall great experience. I cannot wait to come back again. This is officially a go-to spot for celebrations.

Brace yourselves--this is going to be a long one, because this experience deserves every bit of it…read more We recently had the opportunity to do a chef's tasting at Honeysuckle Rose, and from the very first interaction, it was clear this wasn't going to be your average night out. We had a bit of a hiccup to start--we couldn't find our gift card (of course). I called and spoke with Kelleanne, and I have to say, this is truly where the experience began. She was warm, understanding, and genuinely funny, turning what could have been a stressful moment into something easy and even enjoyable. She handled everything with kindness and grace, and it set the tone for the evening ahead. A couple of days before our reservation, we received a confirmation call from James--but not the typical kind. He asked thoughtful, personal questions: who my guest would be, our water preferences (yes, really), allergies, absolute no-go foods, and even a song that held meaning to us. At that point, our curiosity was fully piqued. When we arrived, the space immediately stands out. It's very dark--blacked-out windows, black walls, black ceiling--and it's all completely intentional. Before the meal began, Kelleanne explained that the goal is to create an intimate dinner party atmosphere, where you forget the outside world and fully immerse yourself in the experience. And it works. It really works. At your seat, you're given what feels like an invitation--that's your menu for the evening. Each course is introduced by chef River and sommelier Mary Kate, adding a personal and thoughtful touch to every dish. I won't go course-by-course (we'd be here all night), but just know: every single one was worthy of praise. Chef River is absolutely crushing it. We were lucky enough to sit at the chef's counter, which I highly recommend if you can swing it. Watching chefs River, Ryan, and Trae work was like witnessing a perfectly choreographed performance. After each course, every surface was meticulously cleaned--counters wiped, stoves reset--everything returned to pristine condition before the next dish began. It was as impressive as the food itself. And it doesn't stop there. You notice Cody in the back, carefully polishing each glass and plate to perfection. Every single person on the team is fully invested in making this an extraordinary experience--and that's exactly what it is. What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail and the personal touches. Maybe you get an extra bite, a meaningful story from Mary Kate, or a surprise dessert to celebrate something special. There's an element of the unexpected that makes the evening feel uniquely yours. We left completely blown away. Not just by the food, but by the people. Kelleanne and Ryan are the kind of individuals you genuinely enjoy watching succeed--they bring something special to the entire experience. And a quick note for those who notice the details (like I do): even the bathroom is stunning--beautifully designed and just as intentional as everything else in the space. If you're looking for something truly different, immersive, and unforgettable--this is it. Don't think twice. Book the reservation. We'll absolutely be back, and we're already looking forward to exploring their other concepts.

I made a reservation at the chef's counter -- as a solo diner I'm especially fond of dinner and a show. It is worth noting that only a few of the counter seats actually have a good view of the kitchen, so make sure you add that request if it matters to you. The standard tasting menu is super reasonably priced for a Michelin and I decided to treat myself to both of the substitution upgrades and the wine pairing. Stand out flavors were the duck prosciutto to start (though the scale could have been smaller as the deliciously crumbly tart crust made it difficult to eat this without it falling apart), the seared scallop with billi bi, and the Kagoshima A5 wagyu (which was generously portioned!) I also found the wine pairing unpredictable and spot on! My favorite was the Greek Rose paired with the scallop! I was there on a Wednesday night and all diners were dressed in business casual or southern chic. Bathrooms are spacious and immaculate with wine counters and fragrant soaps. I'm not sure I'd always give this 5 stars -- if I had just had a view of the liquor bottles at the bar would I have enjoyed my experience as much? The interior of the space is beautiful with a lantern lit walkway and soaring ceilings with artful projections on the wall. I'm sure it's lovely for a special date night or celebratory dinner. I'd definitely recommend Wild Common to friends in Charleston, but I might try a different spot the next time I'm in town.
