Such a find! The owner takes personal responsibility to ensure each guest understands where they are on the waitlist and checks in with you regularly. The wait was about 30 minutes and totally worth it. The food is very good and typical to what you would expect in a diner. Very small interior but plenty of seating outside while you wait. If you are in a hurry, I wouldn't recommend as it is a small town diner where every guest appears relaxed and patient! 100% recommend. We walked there from the Saratoga Hilton on Broadway and I would recommend the walk. It was about 20 minutes. read more

This is probably one of the best diners to grab breakfast in Saratoga! Coming here for the first time, I felt very welcomed and it was such casual atmosphere. Firstly the parking situation is not ideal. For such a popular restaurant, there is limited parking so much so you would have to either fight for a space or just park a couple blocks and walk. Thankfully we got lucky and scored one up in front. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict with avocado and 1 pancake. Now, don't get me wrong, I am a stack kind of girl but the pancakes here were bigger than my whole face and we were warned by the waitress that the pancakes run really big. The crab cake just melted in my mouth and was so delicious! I loved the pancake. It wasnt too sweet or too bland, it was right in the middle. Java chip coffee was delicious. An experience in itself. Strong, rich scent of roasted coffee beans and cocoa. Full, smooth taste. Grilled banana bread- Delicately toasted, fresh baked, nutty flavor. Scrambled eggs with kielbasa and potatoes-eggs were fresh, fluffy and expertly cooked. Kielbasa was not too salty and paired perfectly with the roasted potatoes and homemade hot sauce. I really wanted to like this place. My husband had been here about 2 months ago and raved about the service and his meal. This time around, for 7.95, the eggs, toast and hashbrowns were lukewarm. I can't pay $23 for 2 for breakfasts and get lukewarm food. The corned beef hash was burned to a crisp (see pic). The eggs were supposed to be scrambled but appeared to be a failed attempt at an omelette. Indeed, my hubby was not a happy camper as he felt he had really let me down bringing me here. Our server was pleasant but had no ideas what the specials were so I guess at 8 am on a Saturday there are no specials? Might want to fix that. There are only 9 booths and a similar number seats at the counter. Parking is extremely limited. I can make a better breakfast at home cheaper. This is the definition of a local's place. The food is good, it's reasonably priced, it's served quickly and the service is maybe more than you would expect in a diner ( efficient but way more friendly). We came here after a series of mild disappointments in the Saratoga dining scene. It's a short drive out of the main drag. I knew we were OK when I couldn't find a parking spot. We had to stand in line and wait to be seated ( this is ALWAYS a good sign). Like more than a few Saratoga places, the attitude may initially seem prickly but you quickly find out that a smile and a kind word go a long way. The menu is broader and better executed than your normal dinner. Order the poached eggs ( any of them) and you will find that the chef knows his/her way around the kitchen. The Grilled coffee roll is deliciously sweet and warm. It's not going to win a Michelin star but you won't be disappointed, and you will leave full, satiated, and with wallet intact. read more

One of the biggest disappointments I've encountered in eating out in the past decade. Came here once before and really liked it. Today was simply a fail on their part. My wife and I arrived this morning at about 8 am for breakfast and were able to a secure a table (there are only 9 of them). We were given basic menus and I asked for their specials menu. The hostess, not a waitress, said she'd be right back, she had to check and see if they were ready. She comes back...no specials menu. She apologizes and a few minutes later our waitress arrives. I ask her about the specials menu and she says the same thing...not ready, not sure when they would be. They'd been open for over 2 hours and didn't have their specials menu ready!!! You have got to be kidding!!!! What is it with sooooo many businesses in the capital region being totally clueless about how to properly run things? It's a breakfast diner; breakfast is their bread and butter; it's Saturday morning, two hours after opening and you don't have your specials menu? Of course, I ask the waitress what the specials are and she has no clue. So, my wife and I, who got up early for the sole purpose of being able to get a table without waiting to be able to order one of the specials for which they are known, were forced to order off the regular old breakfast menu. Beyond lame. This place does regular breakfast food exactly the same as Denny's or any other crappy breakfast diner; it's their specials that most people come for! Unreal. My wife had never been here before and I had been talking this place up for weeks to her. I felt like a moron. She was super disappointed and I was quite unhappy. Basic breakfasts that we had to order were totally meh and mine was lukewarm, not hot. Same exact breakfast anyone gets at a Denny's. Home fries overcooked and old. My wife's corned beef hash was burnt. You could see the burned hash quite easily, plain as day, yet it was served by both the cook and our waitress. My wife isn't one to complain so she didn't send it back (it took 15 minutes to get our basic breakfasts anyhow and we didn't want to wait longer). Neither of us came close to finishing these crappy meals which totaled 24 dollars (included 2 cups of coffee). My wife said she'd never come back and neither will I. In all the years I've been doing Yelp reviews, I've never been more disappointed and dissatisfied. Seriously. Triangle Diner, you completely failed today. No excuse for it, and you'll never get another dollar from us. Time to bench the B team and bring back the A team because whoever was running today's show was asleep at the wheel. Triangle Diner is hands down my favorite breakfast spot in Saratoga. I think a lot of people agree with me since no matter what time you get there on the weekend there is always a wait. It's a simple spot, certainly no frills, with a typical diner counter and then 8 or so booths. The same girls and counter guy are here every week and they always remember you when you become a regular (I certainly have!). They have a really awesome breakfast menu with TONS of specials. Usually some really cool sounding things that are far beyond what a normal diner serves. A lot of the items are far more upscale than typical diner fare. They seem to use way better ingredients than normal diners too. I always get a benedict and they always have multiple special benedicts - crab cake, a southern one with gravy, recently they've had one with fried chicken, etc. They're always so good. My friend that I usually go with always gets the hash - it's homemade and always their homemade bread which she says is amazing. Other people I've brought have gotten pancakes, french toast, etc. and they've all been happy. Portions are nice and hearty too! Best part is the prices are really fair - especially for overpriced Saratoga. If you want a good breakfast, Triangle is where you need to be! read more

It was very busy for a Monday morning, but I think there were a lot of people in town for graduations. We only had to wait for 15 minutes. Irish benedict: corned beef benny, sauce on the side. Yes! I was expecting the corned beef to be super salty, but it was just right with the benedict. Really nice, hospitable service. We saw one lady who already came in twice that morning for breakfast because she liked it so much, she returned for more food! The menu with the daily specials is kinda funny.
