Above and beyond! Nothing short of spectacular. Just had dinner there, I love their BOB burger and crinkle cut fries! We were there for a birthday party. The Corvette is 72 years old today! The local Mustang Club decided to put on a party for us Corvette folks and it was at Triangle Drive In. They were so accommodating and super nice at TDI. Food orders came out quickly and everyone enjoyed their meals. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Just a fun, yummy place overall![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cool retro vibe! It felt like walking into an old school diner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered at the counter and got a table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I don't know who they are setup for, but they are not comfortable seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food took about 5 minutes to be made. It was underwhelming. The burger was a little over-charred. The lettuce had more flavor than the beef. The fries were decent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was bothered through my whole meal by flies. It made it tough to sit and eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Decent food, good service

12/26/23 Ordered 2 veggie burgers. Both with smoked jalapeños, Texas rings, cheese, grilled onions & BBQ sauce on the side. Large onion ring ordered too! The worker was kind, but didn't repeat it. Hopefully it's all right. Arrived and checked in. Made sure to go over order. Drive-thru pick up convenience! The worker was kind & repeated order and it was right. Short wait after paying and it was handed over! Smelled Great! Lunchtime! For everything set up! My veggie burger was Really Delicious! Flavorful! Onion rings in it with BBQ sauce made it even better! Onion rings were crunchy & Delicious! Plus, it's a lot! Leftovers for me. Mother said hers was Great! Good service & Really Great lunch! Highly recommended!

Pastrami. Pastrami. Pastrami. I have been craving pastrami, hot, thinly sliced, good bun, mustard and pickles for a long time. Over a year or two. My favorite place in LA is the Hat. Of course we live hundreds of miles away. My other favorite place is 50 miles away near where I used to work. Also cannot pop out for a quick bite. Somehow in searching for fast food, this popped up. Pastrami at the Triangle Burgers. Not a pastrami burger. Just a pastrami sandwich, hot and juicy. I had to try it. It was dark. I was hungry and tired of chicken soup during my recovery from bronchitis. I zipped out and OMG. Best pastrami in Fresno hands-down. I was a little bit reluctant because I saw in the picture it was served with crinkle cut fries. Now, crinkle cut fries are not my favorite usually. It's usually because people make them badly. They are not cooked crispy enough. Or they're cut so thick that they just end up squishy, not enough crispiness. A potato has to have crispiness, but also a fluffy inside so you can taste the potato goodness. (Potatoes are my number one food by the way.) Imagine my surprise when I ordered combination 11 at triangle burgers, and it was the perfect pastrami sandwich. Thinly cut shredded loaded with juicy delicious, hot fresh pastrami, cut in half and placed into a sleeve so it was a beautiful presentation. Plus the crinkle cut fries. Regular size were a hefty portion and they were absolutely perfect. I don't think I've ever had better crinkle cut fries. Not overcooked and hard and crispy so that there's no fluffiness inside and not soggy. The only thing that would've made these fries better was if there was some sort of special spicy delightful seasoning on them but hey, that would be over the top A+. We cannot have everything and I have Cajun spice at home for my crazy spicy cravings. The combination comes with a drink, Coca-Cola products are what they serve. Now onto the sandwich. The sandwich as I noted was loaded with thinly cut juicy pastrami. That was absolutely delicious. Not fatty, not stringy, seasoned to perfection Like you would get in a Jewish deli in Los Angeles. How did they do it? I do not know and I don't care because now Triangle will be my number one A1 go to pastrami hot sandwich shop. And thank God they have places all over Fresno oh my gosh, what a present for me and for the world. I hope you all pay attention. Burgers are easy to come by they're everywhere. But hot pastrami in Fresno? Check. It. Out. There is a 10% off discount for seniors! Seniors get your hot pastrami on. Oh by the way, the bun is a delight and it is sesame seed topped with that little crunchy nutty flavor. I suppose you could get hot pickles on the side like banana peppers or jalapeños or whatever I forgot to ask or check I was so excited just to find hot pastrami that was divine. Also, the drive-through staff were just as sweet and friendly as can be. The guy took my order, any changes were noted quickly and swiftly. Don't forget it's not McDonald's or KFC so the drive-through line might be slightly more on the turtle side as opposed to the hare, but boy is it worth the wait. If you need jackrabbit service, perhaps you should step inside. I didn't mind waiting an extra minute or two for the absolutely stunning sandwich I received. As I took it home in my car, the aroma was mouthwatering, and I was practically drooling when I got to my door at home. Fresno - Clovis if you haven't gotten a pastrami sandwich here, you don't know what you're missing! Merry Christmas.

Burgers were perfect. I highly recommend them. Really! You won't be disappointed with the fresh bun, flavorful beef patty, perfect cheese flavor or fresh toppings. The service was super friendly. The 50'a themed decor and music was enjoyable.

The location does have one restroom inside for customers and plenty of seating indoors and some outdoors too. Location and restroom were very clean and staff were very friendly! I decided to try two flavors since I was only passing through and couldn't easily come back to try it again. I got two of their monthly flavors, the sweet corn and the treasure chest. The sweet corn lacked flavor, you can only get a hint of it. There were a few corn pieces mixed in, but they were few and far between, plus they didn't have a strong corn flavor either. I loved the concept but execution was disappointing. The treasure chest was very good, though I personally wished there was a more even ratio of brown butter cookie to brownie. I can't recall if I even got any brownie pieces. Flavor was excellent otherwise. The other complaint that I have is that the scoop is small. As you can see from my photo, my two scoops looked like 1 scoop. Not worth the price. I know competitors like Han**ls, where I'm a regular at, have given bigger scoops. All in all, still a great quality ice cream.

It has got to the point of us waiting for the next month's flavors. This review is long overdue, but Nummy Yummy deserves high praise and recognition for is deliverance to excellent and tasty dessert for the Fresno community. We went here again just a few days ago and it still hits the spot. The menu typically rotates ice cream flavor every month. Not only ice cream, but they also have warm taiyaki! This place reminds me of SomiSomi chain, but to be honest, I think Nummy Yummy is better. All of the staff here are super nice, patient, and always willing to answer your questions. I've come here a lot and have yet to come across a grumpy staff member (haha). The location is in the corner of the RN Market plaza. There is plenty of parking, but I wish they hadn't taken away the indoor seating. There is nowhere to dine in and sit other than the dirty bench outside. I see the majority of people just eating in their car. I hope they decide to offer more flavors and toppings. The various Asian flavors are a hit, and a suggestion box from the public could be an idea. Also, not sure if the eye is playing tricks, but seems like their new cups provide a smaller portion than the old cups. Hopefully that is not the case.

So I looked for a local dessert place (by picture from other Yelpers) and I was in the mood for ice cream or fro-yo. I didn't realize that this place is very similar to the Somi Somi franchise; but still gave it a shot. Inside is very small and plain = NO SITTING so it is literally take-out. Ordering is simple and the cashier was friendly. I wished the fro-yo portions matched what customers received in the past, and there was no option to order small, medium or large. The flavors: pistachio not overly sweet was perfect for my wife. I ordered the half chocolate half brown sugar and only could taste chocolate so I was disappointed . Also their "fish" cone had a salty aftertaste. Overall, it's not an experience I would even give a 2nd try.

This is a small shop with a big back area where they make ice cream magic. They have different delicious ice cream treats and at least one agua fresca at all times ranging from $2 - $5 or so but I usually stick with the paletas. They have at least theee different strawberry options and every other fruit - and some veg like avocado- don't knock it til you try it. The paletas are separated by water-based and dairy-based. Both are good. My favorite water-based: watermelon, lime, jamaica (hibiscus) and fave dairy-based: both strawberry - sooo good. Currently, paletas are $2 each with no discount that I could see. I'm pretty sure two summers ago, the dairy based were like 25 cents or 50 cents more (adds up when you buy 10 like me haha). Anyway, you deserve these frozen treats, don't deny yourself any longer.

SF had Benkyodo, which I appreciate, but did ran sweet for me…read more SJ has Shuei-Do. Pardon, but non ci siamo. Sac has Osaka-Ya, but Kogetsu-Do is better. We were in town the morning after seeing the Firefail. Finally success on the third visit attempt. Amongst other shops on the desolate street stood an unremarkable window front where the repeat button has remained on since the 60s. Within was an eclectic mix of Japanese American household fixtures and Americana. Rustic. Nothing like Benkyodo's proper shelf presentation - or a hamburga stand. Some Japanese goods were on offer, but you come here for something sweet. We got a couple of mochi and manju, traditional red bean flavors, because that's all that was left. Their manju, seeming to have a different "batter" and "panini"-grilled, had a crumbly texture. The mochi though... Have you seen that viral video of that slapping mochi shop in Nara? What about people enjoying it? How soft it was, leaving a vegan cheese pull with every bite? This was by far the softest mochi I've ever had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the soy dusted yomogi. The bigger size of the mochi also accentuated the softness of the mochi. The matcha, also green, had a distincting different flavor, just so you know that the shop wasn't cheating. My partner in crime loved the lima bean mochi. The red bean filling tasted homemade, good flavor but not too sweet - the best compliment you can give an Asian in a world that remains overrun by pollo ala naranja. We are proud* that such a heritage perseveres on, especially in a part of town that's honestly become quite desecrated of life. Call ahead to see if the shop is open, and try to come early. The shop is a one woman show, and if my first two visits say anything, this lady enjoys having a life. And yes, she does sell out. She was nearly sold out when we visited. And try to enjoy the mochi ASAP. The mochi will last in the fridge. The texture will not. If you come at the right time of the year, the shop will have mochi in different fruit and pie flavors, and even ice cream mochi. *OK, "I'm proud of you" might be a bigger compliment to an Asian. And yes, there's Fugetsu in LA, but I haven't been. Though if you need a reason to visit the Fresno, you can always take the 99 traveling between SoCal and NorCal... Just need to be early if much is desired. If you're interested in AYCEat mochi, staying healthy, working out for free, and have an eye for the art of making mochi, may I suggest asking the owner for an apprenticeship? The owner's mentioned on articles that there's no one to take over and you don't become a master overnight.
