I loved the golden curry noodles! We went for dinner (love that it's BYOB) and we're the only people in the restaurant on a Friday night. We also got the drunken noodles and stir fry veggies. The stir fry veggies were just okay, but the golden noodles were the clear winner. I would definitely order takeout from here again. read more

I am a very tough critic. I won't eat at most Thai places because it's so generic, watered down, and not authentic. I ordered 3 dishes, and all three were DA BOMB! It's safe to say that I am obsessed with this place. It's basically as good as it gets. I've been here over a dozen times and every time the food and service has been really great. I always start with the spring rolls. They are without a doubt some of the best that I've had. The Golden Curry Noodle is probably one of my favorite things on their menu. It's so tasty and is perfect for a cold day. Their Devil Noodles are also sooo good. Everything tastes so fresh and their spicy sauce is amazing. This place is also BYOB so it's always a good time. Altogether, it ends up being a really satisfying meal. read more

Oh. My. Gosh. What a fantastic spot!!!! It's super new, so we were so happy to have found this place. Logan square has a ton of cool spots popping up and I found this based on the fact they are BYOB. And then heard it came as highly recommended! It's a small, pretty casual spot. They have a kitchen area in the back you can see into and multiple high tops and low top tables. The waitress was super friendly and helpful with suggestions. We went on Valentine's Day, and they brought us out a small spicy corn appetizer in addition to our meal which was nice! We each loved our entrees and were disappointed we couldn't take our leftovers to go (we were heading to a concert). Definitely enough for a round 2! It's also a great location-- tons of bars and cute spots nearby along with being right off the train line. Will definitely be back again soon! read more

My friend and I tried this place while looking for somewhere to eat on Milwaukee one night. It exceeded our expectations. With only 22 reviews at the time, but five stars, we assumed it was relatively new, but that it was solid. We were not disappointed. For me, I got the Golden Curry Noodle and let me be one of the many to say that it was amazing. Egg noodles with some very tasty curry soup that was like a cross between Thai and Indian curries and had a perfect combination of sweet, salty, and spicy. One of my favorite noodle soups of all time and definitely worth a visit. read more

How does one describe this place without sounding like they are obsessed? I don't think its even worth trying to deny. I'm obsessed. Seriously. I've been here twice in two weeks and plan on heading back for a 3rd visit next week. Not only is the service excellent, but the presentation and quality of the food is second to none. I'm a vegetarian and its really easy for places to just throw some tofu in a dish, but here I can tell they take care to make sure its fried perfectly. Oh and as a bonus, there are some gorgeous murals on the wall. read more

The reviews speak for themselves. This is perhaps the best Thai food in Chicago proper. This gem is located on Milwaukee, just south of the popular Logan Square area. It's BYOB, so great for date night or a night out with friends. I came here on a Thursday with my girlfriends and we ordered a bunch of different things and shared everything. Honestly, every dish was just exceptional. First of all, the menu is creative. You won't see the typical "pad Thai". But you will find a slew of creative and flavorful noodle dishes and soups. For an appetizer we tried the homemade spring rolls and they were to die for. For my entree I had the drunken noodles with tofu which was exceptional. It was packed with a ton of fresh tofu and a bunch of veggies including carrots, green beans, broccoli, and tomato. The sauce was spicy but not too spicy. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The only thing I would have changed is I don't think the dish needed the tomato. Of all the things we tried my friends dish the "devil spaghetti" was my favorite. Spaghetti noodles sautéed with tons of veggies and tofu doused in a garlic basil sauce which was amazing. The best part is the entrees are only $10-$12! My new favorite quarantine take out! Yes it's a bit pricier than other Thais, but the food quality is excellent. The portions were large, everything was packed well, and the food tasted amazing and fresh. I had the curry noodles, and the broth was packed separately to keep the other ingredients from getting soggy which I appreciate. It was just spicy enough, the broth was amazing, and the tofu was great. My husband said the crab rangoons tasted really fresh. I also enjoyed the chive dumplings. It's not the most authentic Khao Soi but it's definitely still worth trying! I don't think you're going to get anything as close to what you've tried in Northern Thailand in Chicago. Loved the flavor and the noodles. Three Wheels Noodle is fun BYOB spot to check out, no doubt. read more

Where should I start? From the decoration to the food. Everything here deserves five stars!!! Our server knows the menu very well and was very attentive. My husband got wings platter that comes with sticky rice and papaya salad. I got the basil with ground chicken ( thai spicy:) Everything was delish! Overall I think this place is okay but not stand out. I had the basil thai- the flavor was great but I didn't love the texture of the tofu. It was soft and mushy and I prefer my tofu a bit crisper. My partner had pad kee mao / drunken noodle with chicken and was pretty disappointed. The chicken was super bland and seemed to be thrown in as an after thought. I've been searching all across Chicago for a good Thai restaurant, and I think I've found it. I'M EMOTIONAL. There was no line, and I sitted at the table right away. IAs an appetizer, I decided to go with the Golden curry noodle and the Crab Rangoon. The Golden Curry Noodle was without a doubt one of the most delectable and tasty dishes I have ever had the pleasure of eating. And finally, the Crab Rangoons were beautifully deep-fried in a light shell wrapping, and both their shape and size were on the more little side. It was also good, and well worth both the money and the time spent on it. Because it is so wonderful, I was unable to stop eating it; if I have the opportunity to do so, I will return to this resto in the future. My most recent visit, I just ate a quick meal, so I got a light meal this time around. So, when I go back, I'm going to try a few of their other dishes. read more

As good as all the previous reviews. Basil chicken and garlic chicken were both delicious. Thai ice tea also very good. Service on point. Cool vibe and not crowded on a Thursday night. They do lots of take out so be prepared to witness nonstop drivers bustling in and out. read more

Just moved to a new area and trying out some places around us. We passed by this place a few times on our walks and finally decided to place an order for pickup. I'm so glad we did! I got the drunken noodle with tofu and my bf got the golden curry noodle both were absolutely delicious and a perfect amount of heat. Will absolutely order from here again! Also FYI, not sure if this is a sit down place as of now, it looks like it's made for takeout, which I have no issues with because our food was hot and tasted so fresh! read more

"Holy S***". Those were the first two words out of my mouth after digging into their Khao Soi dish. My wife and I honeymooned in Thailand 3 years ago and I've been trying to find a Khao Soi here in the United States that even holds a candle to what we ate in Chiang Mai. The dish at Three Wheels was insane and maybe just as good as we had in Thailand. The woman who answered the phone and rang me up for my carry out could not have been more polite. Ever since my wife and I decided to give this restaurant a shot we fell I love. Everything from their starter salad, to their AMAZING trike wings, to their main dishes is absolutely mouth watering. One of the finest Thai restaurants in Chicago that I've visited! The Crab Rangoon appetizers were gently deep fried in a light shell wrapping and were smaller in form and size than some other Thai restaurants I've visited, but they were flavorful and I couldn't stop eating them and wanting for more. Another one, even without the sauce, the Trike's wings were well-seasoned and tasty too. These recipes are hearty, savory, and spicy! If you enjoy spicy meals but haven't had them in a while, I recommend getting a Thai Iced Tea to accompany your meal to refresh your palate. You definitely should visit here. Cause you will never regret it as all your money and effort of coming here are all worth it! Definitely going to give it another shot! And I'll surely bring my family as well. I'm really hard on Thai cuisine in Chicago because the flavors are dumbed down for the masses... I recommend ordering very spicy because then it will be at least medium spice level.. other than that, it was pretty good. Golden curry was tasty. Just not spicy enough. In previous reviews I saw someone complaining that it was too spicy.... to those people that say that about ANY Thai restaurant, please shut up, it's supposed to have a little heat.. if you don't like heat.. go order Mac and cheese from noodles and company ya basic twit. Small kitchen/shop on Milwaukee has OK to nice ambiance for dine in, but really they shine (& I always order) for take out; THEIR FOOD IS GREAT; if you enjoy the basic dishes (they have a limited menu) of Thai takeout, their foods are always fresh, warm and boast wonderful spices, sauces & flavors. I was so excited to try them. Looking at the reviews - maybe it was just my order? The food looked nothing at all like what I ordered. The noodles were excellent but that was the only thing that was really edible. The meats were horrible. I mistakenly order the wings and received two sauces, one of which seemed watered down with something. I was so disappointed. read more

Stumbled upon this place after getting drinks nearby and now I am obsessed! They offer some of the best Thai food in the city and has become our go to Thai restaurants. We get the Golden Curry Noodle with Tofu and the Spicy Basil Chicken and it never disappoints. The presentation and texture of the golden curry noodle is best when dining in but flavors are still spot on for carry out. Highly recommend! read more

You can't go wrong with any of them. The cabbage tofu pocket is one of our go-to items here. It's a stuffed inari and when you bite into it you get a mouthful of salad in a pleasant way. The blueberry gives it a nice sweetness. The crunch crunch shrimp was good too. It's deep fried shrimp wontons, and the inside was actually really juicy from the shrimp. I do want to make special note of their water, it tastes really refreshing and comes in a nice steel bottle. Service is good they brought the plates out in a way that doesn't overload the small table and they are quick about taking empty bowls away. One thing that could be improved was the lighting and fan situation. At the specific two-seater table we originally say there's a ceiling fan that is right below a ceiling light. This caused a quick flickering that was really distracting. We told a server and were able to be moved to a different table slightly further away where it was less noticeable. It's definitely not a good lighting experience and highly suggest the owners address this. Most tables aren't affected by this though.

Came here during dinner time and it was quite a wait! We couldn't get a reservation earlier in the day either. But the wait was definitely worth it!
