Our go to spot for hidden gem. Literally looks like a whole in the wall but the flavors are bold and tasty! When they said hot it's holy hot where it burns your butthole fr fr so we usually wuss out and opt for the mild plus. But im feeling on the edge then I'll do medium. Simple made delicious!

Was curious about this place. Ordered takeout after returning from a trip and it was still hot. The food is pretty good. I'll have to check out the rest of their menu one day. Portion sizes are large too.

Hole-in-the wall (in the best sense) OG for spicy Thai on Lincoln. Staff could not possibly have been friendlier nor more excited for people to come eat. They were doing a brisk business in to-go orders, but this location also has an "eat in" section that can hold maybe 25-ish. Came to do the "5x Spicy Challenge" and see if it's worth trying to claim the top spot (30x spicy perhaps?) on the wall. 5x was truly no sweat (literally, although my nose ran) for an experienced chili head and challenge participant, but if you aren't well versed in spicy, dip your toe into the water slowly with a different spice level before tackling this one. Super cool surprise that the meal was free after finishing it. Be sure to leave a big fat tip if this is your experience as well! Don't sleep on the Thai iced tea, either.

Wow, I really enjoyed this place! The chicken satay skewers were very good! The bean sprouts were a bit wilty in the pad thai, but it still tasted good. Our order came with a small cucumber salad and a few crab rangoons which was a pleasant surprise. This restaurant is small and has minimal seating but take out is a reliable option. I'd like to dine in next time to try it out.

Abundance of raisins in shrimp fried rice.

WTP...Where's The Pineapple? Not in the pineapple fried rice! Pineapple fried rice is a great option if you enjoy raisins in your pineapple fried rice. Shrimp fried rice did not have a decent amount of shrimp, throw in two more maybe? The spiciness was was a hit though.

Love this spot! I ordered for take out and it was fantastic! Prices are great! I got the Thai iced tea to drink, this was perfect. You can't go wrong with a Thai iced tea! For my main I got the pho. I got it with beef and medium spice. The spice on this was perfect. I struggle to find a pho place to make to spicy and this was it!! Came with bean spouts, mint, lime. Perfection! Will be ordering this again and again!

We still come here like religiously 2-3 times a month. Best Thai food hands down. Love the cozy atmosphere and how fast the food comes out.

Passing by I tried this place, and they offered lunch special. I didn't know So I ordered my usual Crab rangoon Beef salad White rice and Thai mustard The food was good Service ok Small place, not sure if they have a batroom for customers They also have a wall of fame for coustoumer that order extra spicy food from the menu........

I ordered take out from this restaurant on Uber Eats, so I can't necessarily comment on the service or the ambiance present in the restaurant. With that being said, the food here is AMAZING. I've eaten at many Thai places in the city and so far this has to be the best one. It definitely is a little pricy, but I think it is well worth the cost. The pineapple fried rice was the best I've ever had, it was done very well. The pad see ew was also amazing. I also ordered red curry, panang curry, and pineapple fried rice. Overall, definitely recommend!

Came here for the first time with a recommendation from a friend. Ordered take out. The take out was stored in a warmer until I got there which kept the food really warm! I ordered Pad Kee Mao, medium hot, and it is just like the menu said, quite spicy. Even though it was spicy, it did not overpower the other flavors! I did also enjoy the spicy level so I definitely will be back again to try other dishes.

Indeed, this spot did not let me down! It is a small Thai restaurant in West Loop, with a large menu featuring monthly specials and quite a few dishes I rarely find in other Thai restaurants in U.S. For food, we ordered the following: 1. Khao Ka Moo: a stewed pork hock platter served with rice, pickled mustard greens, shitake mushrooms, sauce (similar to soy-sauce) and egg (which I opted out). It was my first time to have pork hock in a Thai restaurant. The meat was juicy and the skin was mouth-melting. Highly recommended. 2. JJ Tiger Cry: Basically grilled ribeye served with Thai style sides. The ribeye was cooked at ~medium well. I wish it could be a fattier cut and cooked for a shorter time, but my friend thought the temp. was perfect for her. It was served with a Thai sauce and cabbage+carrot slaw. 3. Green Curry Chicken: my sister's entree. The curry tasted refreshing and flavorful. It was also great that the dish came with both rice noodles and jasmine rice, so you can try both of them -- indeed, the rice noodles, after soaking it in the green curry, tasted heavenly! 4. Yum Hed. Grilled mushroom salad. There were shitake and king oyster mushroom. Served over a bed of fresh lettuce and a kind of spciy, sour sauce. Great as a side. 5. Guay Tiew Tom Tum Koong: Shrimp and rice noodles served in a generous bowl of Tom Yum Soup. It also had much veg. Unfortunately, I am allergic to some seafood so for safety I did not try this dish. Overall, the dishes are of medium sizes, but definitely enough for us. Service was friendly and quick. I may try more dishes the next time I visit Chicago.

I'm…read morenot sure if there has been a change in management or the kitchen, but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had here. The food was completely underwhelming, and when we shared our concerns with the staff, nothing was done to address them. The service was equally disappointing. Our server spent much of the time sitting on her phone while we waited for basic service like water refills, being asked about drinks, and receiving the drinks we ordered. We repeatedly had to get up and find someone just to receive attention. As for the food, the gyoza was bland and tasted like unseasoned pork. The lemongrass beef stew curry, which was highly recommended, arrived cold, had an odd texture, and lacked any real flavor. Most shocking of all were the drunken noodles. I've ordered them countless times over the years and always considered them among the best in Chicago. This time, I couldn't get past a single bite. Every dish was left unfinished. We didn't finish a single plate and didn't take any leftovers home--something that never happens for us. Between the poor service and incredibly disappointing food, this was an awful dining experience from start to finish. Unfortunately, after being a longtime customer, I won't be returning.

(Unfortunately, the sidewdalk is sloped, so the tables are sloped.) C and I order shumai, which in my experience, is served as an appetizer. Our order didn't arrive until after the main course was served. (Note to self: Next time order the main course after the appetizer has been served.) Cuisine: 4 stars - We ordered Basil Rice, to share. The flavor was different than what I have been served elsewhere. More sour than sweet. I think a better balance between sour and sweet would be better. Also, elsewhere, the rice and ground chicken are served tossed together. Here, the rice and chicken arrive on separate plates. It's difficult to mix sticky rice and chicken on a flat place. Nevertheless, the meal was completely acceptable; just a bit different. Service: 4 stars - The server was polite and friendly. Ambiance: 4 stars - We dined outside, but the interior looks nice. It's really nice to find a Thai restaurant with outdoor seating. What to know: It's BYOB (a plus) and does not accept card; only cash. For me, that's also a plus. Would I return? Yes.
