THE ABSOLUTE BEST NAIL SALON. I've been getting my nails done for 20 years and have lived in cities across the country. This is my favorite nail salon I've ever been to in all those years. Always consistent, always good manis/pedis, always nice staff. I haven't had one experience here that wasn't great. Blows away all your other typical nail salons. I am very disappointed with the manicure & pedicure I got. It cost $70 all I got was a little bit of my nails clipped and very little filing. The cuticles weren't done, even parts of my nails not even polished. I have called the owner many times but she's never available. I need to get another mani/pedi done this weekend, I was willing to give them another chance because they do offer other good services set an exfoliation massage, waxing, hair, but this has turned into a totally terrible expensive mistake. The owner Lynn will not even call me back very poor customer service I would not recommend this place at all. They really do not care about the customers. $70 It's all about the money, I noticed the regular customers got a little bit of massage after they got their nails done I didn't. Gave this place a try twice. It's clean, and modern and the customer service is amazing. However, the actual manicures are absolutely horrendous. I've never seen my nails looking worse. Twice the ladies were trying to finish the job as fast as they can without any attention to details, any concerns if they cause any pain by ripping the skin out dry, painting over skin, not even filing straight. Horrible. I do have to give a credit for a girl on reception, but they gotta hire better specialists. read more

I love this place. I come here monthly for a pedicure.... Everyone is always, kind, it's clean, and the foot massages are amazing. I know it's a tad pricey, but I always take advantage of a free drink, and I feel like that balances it out!! Plus, I think you pay for what you get.... And I like the service. I was disappointed in how rough the women are who do your nails. They use their file haphazardly when shaping gel nails and seem to forget that you have delicate skin around your nail beds. The woman doing my nails made 3 of my fingers bleed and my pinky pain has finally gone away, after 5 days. If you get a middle aged woman with glasses know that she is very rough! Somehow she also managed to give me a cut under my pinky nail. I wish they had better nail techs. Two stars for awesome polish selection and the cleanliness of the pedicure stations. read more

Trillium Nails & Spa is by far the best there is. The spa is immaculate, the staff is so very friendly, helpful and the owner is the most caring young lady I have every met! A high end spa with decent prices. Not cheap, but not outrageous. Beautiful space that is light and bright and super clean. Great assortment of colors from OPI, essie, and Smith&Cult. I usually get spa pedicures and gel manicures. I love Amy and James but I've never been disappointed with anyone -- everyone is great. Also have gotten some waxing here and they are quick but gentle. They play good music, have 2 tvs going, and have complimentary coffee/tea/champagne, so it's always a pleasure to be here. Its quiet, clean and the vibe is amazing - not like an outdated spa - its like a new fun place to relax. Now - not every nail person is good. I love the different pedis the offer. My absolute fave is the black charcoal pedi. The gel manicures are great. They always accommodate my schedule and never have been told I can't get an appointment within two hr of my call. They also serve champs, wine, coffee and tea. I had the Trillium Spa pedicure and manicure and the service was amazing. I came first for a pedicure, which was nice. More expensive than other salons around here, but not a bad pedicure. They offer you a 20% off coupon to get you back a second time. I came back for a gel mani and was extremely disappointed. The manicurist didn't cut my cuticles at all, and seemed to cut corners. Considering they charge $40 for this service, I would have expected more. That is more than most of the surrounding salons, and you get less from the service. To top it off, the gel started peeling that same night! I called the salon, and they told me to come back to have my nails fixed, and to avoid the previous nail color brand I used and stick to OPI. I did, and the gel still lifted in just a couple of days. I would recommend saving your money, (especially at this price!) and go elsewhere. read more

I'm so happy I wandered in today. The salon is utterly spotless and does a lot of hygienic practices to protect their clients (individual scrubs and protective disposable liners for pedicure tubs). They are currently running some great grand opening promotions and it may have been the best pedicure and manicure I've gotten in Bergen and Hudson county. I will be back, regularly. First and last time going to this salon. $30 pedicure and $74 fill in for "gel extension" when two nails that were broken she glued a tip on. Sadly I didn't realize how bad of a job this was until I got home and noticed the sides of my nails and my chipped and lumpy pedicure. I was going to let it go the only reason I came here in the first place is because my usual girl is away for a few weeks so I desperately needed a fill in. But then within days 2 nails broke so I called the salon up . Girl on the phone was so rude talking to me like I didn't know what gel extension was saying that's when they extend the nail and not glue a nail.. which was my entire point she glued two nails on. But I paid for gel extension.... The first nail to break was the tip she added(glued). She said they would not repaint my nails which actually surprised me because I sent her photos with the date and time and they clearly were not a good job... but she agreed to a polish change on my toes and to fix the broken nails . I didn't have the time or energy so I figured that's better then nothing. So I come in and they were looking at me like they don't know what I'm talking about . Her idea of fixing the pedicure was going to be adding an additional layer on top of the two chipped toes... long story short it's now been a few more days and the other glued tip broke from my left hand, and one thumb is cracked and another is lifting... Two trips and over $100 later . I have to go get my nails done again for the 3rd time and it's not even a full two weeks . read more

Second time here & loving this place. They offer you drinks (coffee, tea, water or champagne) while getting pampered. They also give you a massage and everyone is super friendly. The place is nicely lit, modern design and awesome ambiance. My pedi is going on 3 weeks and still looks good. I get gel mani & just got them redone yesterday, they also lasted 3 weeks. After all of the raving reviews, I thought I would try this place out. I think my experiences at cheaper places were better. I had a pedicure done by a older man and it was all of 20 minutes. I didn't feel relaxed at all, because it seemed like he was rushing just to be finished. I also wasn't offered any beverages or anything. The pedicure came out fine, I'm not unhappy about that, but it was too short and rushed for how much it is. I'll probably won't be back here unfortunately. read more

So happy to see a new nail place open in the area. I stopped in yesterday for a pedicure around 5 pm. I was not sure if they accepted walkins but they quickly said they did and to pick out a color. Everything went well but the only downside was I waited almost an hour before anyone even came to help. They apologized so it was all good but I would have expected them to tell me when I walked in the wait was an hour. Other then that the pedicure was good and the place is really clean and modern. Had the mani & organic spa pedi done, it is pricier than average I admit. But that's the thing, it's def not your average salon. The massage during the pedi as well as the reflexology was amazing... They even offer the smith & cult polish selection albeit $3 surcharge, but I'm a HUGE fan of the line bc it's free of all those nasty chemicals. I have been to this place 3 times now and the first 2 times was beautiful but the third was a disaster. The first two times the ladies that I had took time to do my pedicures beautifully and the environment in the salon was really welcoming. The third time I came with my mom got the shea butter and hot stone pedicures since I really liked my first two visits, and the entire atmosphere was completely different. We had two men work on us and my entire pedicure lasted 20 minutes whereas my regular pedicure lasted 35-45 minutes with the other two visits, and this time I got more services so you think it would take longer. The hot stones were barely used, he rubbed them for 15-20 seconds after they were cold, my heels and shins were not properly exfoliated, he didn't massage my shins like the other lady did and my manicure looks bad on some nails. Not to mention they didn't offer any of the complimentary services like the drinks and massages, my moms pedicurist realized mine left to another person so he gave me a massage because he felt bad. Not saying those thing matter the most but they show how off the place was at the time And the receptionist kept looking over while I was getting my pedicure to tell them to hurry up. I dont want to pay extra for a pedicure only to have it be rushed into a 20 minute job, if they can't give the full service then they should have told me they can't take my appointment. I regret buying the special pedicures and wish I hadn't gotten my hopes up for this place. I don't know why there was such a difference between groups on Wednesday night but I think management should look into it. read more

Decided to try out this nail salon as the previous salon I have been going to (for years might I add!) started to get very lax and rude with not only myself but with other clientele. This place is absolutely gorgeous! I was so thrilled to see that they carry Smith + Cult as it's one of my favorite brands, and also carry some select beauty lines for purchase as well! I got a gel manicure + a spa pedicure and felt absolutely pampered. The pedicure lasted about 45-55 minutes and my technician took his time. My gel manicure came out absolutely beautiful as well. I will definitely become a regular here, and I'm definitely getting my nails done here for my upcoming wedding! It may be pricier than some of the other salons in the area, but you are paying for an attentive and spectacular service which is absolutely worth it. read more

I've been going here for four years so far and probably have spent more than five hundred dollars here. Other times I was satisfied with the service but the most recent visit after COVID was a mess. First off they charge more than other nail salons. I figured it was the spot and Edgewater is a pricey area so I never questioned it. However, my last visit I spent $125 after tip on my nails and one chipped off the second day and then three more came off after the fourth day. I got the tip fixed the first time when it broke the next day. Then once all of them broke off at once I asked to go in and get a refund but they said they don't do refunds. So they offered to fix them and I got a design that's much cheaper than my initial nails that I paid them for and the lady kept throwing in sly comments and kept throwing my hands like she didn't want to be sitting their doing them and was rude. Then the woman at the front desk was whispering things into her ear. Extremely rude way of treating loyal customers and I felt stressed and unhappy about the treatment! I won't be returning to spend my hard earned money at a place like that any longer. read more
