So, I made the mistake of trying a new nail place. My normal place is in Tempe and they were booked for the timeframe I needed. So, I resorted to a place near my home. I should have known better, but I did it anyway. Becky did my nails today and there were several corrections that she had to make. She got an attitude and flipped from English to her native language every time I asked her to fix something that I didn't like and made me feel like I was bothering her to fix my nails. The manager kept looking over making me feel very uncomfortable as if I was not supposed to speak up about the terrible job she was doing. I guess I am supposed to pay for something that is considered crappy work and not complain. I will never return to this place. Also, the manager stopped me on my way out and whispered to me that Becky is the best nail person in that salon and if I don't like her nail job, no one else can do a better job. WOW... way to speak about yourself and yournother staff. She also stated that maybe I should find a different place. I told her thank you and I will find another place. Went there today for a manicure and wax and wish I had time for a pedicure too! The atmosphere is so relaxing, everyone there is very nice and accommodating! The pedicure chairs look so comfy, new and well maintained! I can't wait to go back. read more

My wonderful Fiance got me a gift cert to this place and after not having a pedi for a while I was excited to finally get it done. This was my first time at this place and walking in on a Monday night I really wasn't greeted at all warmly, no smile in sight. The girl at the front manicure station asked what i wanted done and i told her a pedi and paint on my hands. I sat down after noticing the sign in sheet that no one said i should sign and sitting on top of the sign in was a DEBIT CARD pin punching machine and I remembered to look around for any signs that said cash only and there wasn't any. I had my gift cert but planning possibly adding to the services. There was no music playing, it was so quite and uncomfortable because no one was smiling or talking at all and there was a tv but it was turned off. I was asked to sit down in the pedi chair and the lady that was to do my nails came over and didn't even look at my face just started working with what seemed like a frown or serious look on her face. I tried to lighten the mood by telling her I was sorry if i flinch because I am ticklish and that was the only half smile i got out of her. I def didn't feel welcome.. i felt like i was an inconvenience sitting there. She shaped my fingernails and as i sat down to pay her before she did my polish and gave her the gift cert and my card for the extra she says they don't take ANY cards. I asked " Oh, i didn't see a sign. I make sure to check especially because this is my first time here?" and she just said "oh, we used to have a sign but its not up anymore" i apologized (even though i didn't feel like i should be the one apologizing) i asked if i could run a few stores down and get cash at the bank which she said was ok. I hurried and got back.. looking back I should have just left the gift cert there and not gone back. I returned with cash and paid and tipped( again i don't know why. i guess i was trying make the situation better but it really wasn't my fault) . She hurried through my polish without looking up once to see if i was approving of the color or workmanship. I seriously didn't want to be there any longer so i didn't say a word about how i would have liked it if she did one more coat and that i didn't really like the shape she made my nails. I sat down to dry my nails and she proceeded to go rub something on her hands and come over and asked me to sit back and reach under my collar and bra strap to message my shoulders... i was so tense about everything and the last thing i wanted was her rubbing something on my back that I'm sure was going to break me out and then it really was not relaxing.. especially cuz I'm just that kind of person wants to me touched like that by a stranger( i just would have rather asked before she went ahead with it. i understand other might like this service). this was really the worst pedi and nail paint job I've had. Any small positives like the wonderful hot stone massage was over shadowed by the rest of the experience... will not be returning. read more

I can not rave about this place enough. First off a $23 pedicure is a great deal.... but add on hot stone, hot towel, and a shoulder massage... come on, who are you kidding. I live in Hawaii and this would have easily cost $80 if not more. I am here for 3 weeks and will go back every week! If you do not live in the immediate area, do yourself a favor and go for a drive you won't be disappointed. read more

Okay, I tried. The first visit I just overlooked the whispering and chatting in a language I don't understand, even though it seemed very rude. My nails actually came out nice enough the first visit, but I really hate the way they upcharge for everything and nothing is ever clear cut. I really never know what I am going to pay until I walk up to the counter. It is always a lot more than I expect. Never below $50 for the sns dipping product. After my second visit my nails were not near as nice as the first. The rude attitude was still apparent. I was also frustrated because they never push the cuticle on my nail and work to low below it so that I feel I need to return more often than necessary. On my third and last visit, I asked her to please push the cuticle. She got very nasty and said she already did and refused. I also left with areas in my nail that are not even polished. They are bumpy and not even filed smoothly. I had to file them at home to keep them from picking my dress. I am normally a very quiet person and did not say anything, but I will not be going back. It was a very bad experience. read more

Very busy shop. We have been going there for several months now. Prices are moderate. The staff are all friendly and the pedicures are just awesome! They use hot rocks and scrubs and do some kind of massage on your feet and legs that is just heavenly. Got acrylics and gels several times and they always look great and last a long time. Exceptionally clean shop. Will be customers for a long time to come. Shout out to Tracy - she's awesome!! And there's an older lady who does pedicures that is just a sweet as can be. I came in for an eyebrow wax. I was greeted right away and asked how long for me to get an eyebrow wax. I was told 10 minutes. I waited 20 minutes and although several people walked by during those 20 minutes, no one said a word or acknowledged the fact that I was waiting. I was completely ignored. I got up and left after 22 minutes and they watched me walk right out the door and said nothing. Terrible service. I will never come here again. Don't waste your time like I did receiving substandard and rude service. read more

New in town so I trusted my fellow yelpers to find a nail salon. This place was close to home & had great reviews. I went on a Wednesday evening. It was busy but did not wait long. However I felt the service was rushed (mani/pedi) and a bit painful. I really wanted to love this place b/c of the pampering (foot/shoulder massage & hot stones), but two days later my toe began to hurt. Now I have an infected toe! I've been getting my toes/nails done for over 20 years & this is the first time this happens. I did see the manicurist open a pouch w/what appeared to be clean tools, but I forgot to ask her to clean the spa before starting my nails (it was already filled w/water). I am highly disappointed and needless to say never returning to this salon. It disappointed me so much that I will do my own nails at home from now on. Too scared to take the risk. Hopefully this infection I have is minor and clears up soon! read more

I came in for my mothers birthday and proceeded to get manicures I wanted a gel manicure all I got was a nail file and pushed my cuticles back and then she painted my nails. I have never been to a place that didn't do a full manicure with gel. I asked why she wasn't soaking my hands in water and trimming my cuticles back she said our water is off right now. I can understand that things happen but when I saw the other techs using bottle water for the group I came with I felt that I didn't get the best service! I didn't think I should have to pay 20 bucks I could have done this my self at home. But I went ahead and paid. I won't be back that was just ridiculous. read more

Nail tech seemed to be having a bad day, couldn't even fake a smile. Nails at the end were horrible, thank goodness there was a file on the desk so I was able to try to make them look decent, didn't want to wait to have her fix them and honestly didn't think she would do a better job the second time. I'm surprised that such low standards are acceptable to others! Here's my experience. I needed my nails done, found this place, I saw a full house and thought I'd try the place out. They said they had time, great. Before they attended to me, I went to the restroom, disgustingly dirty. Surprised it passes fire inspection. When seated, I said no drilling because of a prior bad experience of the drill going through my nail bed. She insulted me, said it takes too long and it's the old fashioned way. So much for customer service. She proceeded to over saturate the cotton on my nails all the way to my first joints, foil wrapped and stepped away. Sitting there, I noticed the debris from the prior customer and the filthy station, garbage and dust build up everywhere. Not to mention sloppy nail polish on chairs and general poor maintenance. Fifteen minutes go by and my fingers are pruning up, nails are starting to ache from drying up and then I spotted her --starting a pedicure on someone else. I HAD IT! I pulled off the foils and told the guy in the next station they obviously did not have time for me and left. I was too upset to notice if their tools were sterilized. Be warned ladies, loss of toes and fingers due to infections from dirty nail tools is a reality. Choose your nail salon carefully. read more
