I stayed at the hotel at the Triple Play resort this week and am writing my first yelp review ever. The pros: the water park wasn't huge, but it was fun and there weren't long lines for the slides. The indoor/outdoor hot tub was fun and the kids loved the bowling and game room. Breakfast was included and it was fine. The cons: The room was preposterously priced for what we got. A very basic room with extraordinarily thin walls. (I could literally hear people speaking in the next room and there were talking in a normal/quiet tone of voice). We only stayed one night so all the resort activities were extra so that really added up. Also, Fox news was playing in the breakfast room which was weird. I think hotels should stay away from partisan TV and think about all their guests. I wouldn't agree if they were playing MSNBC either, for example. read more

Triple play was a pretty fun experience for a couple in their early 20s. Overall it was fun. Loved being able to go from one thing to another to another. There's plenty to do for a full day. We got two vouchers with EVERYTHING and $5 arcade card on Costco.com for about $43 each. Also, Costco has gift cards to spend money at triple play, I think it was about 36.99 for two $25 gift card so $50 worth. It was pretty great! The souvenir cups were amazing and super useful! But the overall best part was the PIZZA! The pizza is made to order, huge and delicious. So worth the money! read more

Spent way to much money but the kids had alot of fun! It's easy to just drop 300-500 dollars if you have more than 3 kids. And that's just day passes and food. Not counting arcade. The fact that the kids had fun was most important however I did get alot of attitude from a few employees! One of witch told me I was out of line for wanting my son to be measured for the go carts! He was clearly tall enough. After he measured him and saw he was tall enough and over by 3 inches I didnt get an appology just a snarky comment on how I had an attitude. A few other experiences like that with the ropes and the rock climbing. I chose not to do anything cause I wanted my boys to have fun. But I feel like with how much money we just spent for 8 hours of fun. The service could have been nicer. Side note the guy at the concession stand was very nice and made up for the rude employees. read more

Spent two nights in the hotel here. Very clean and comfortable room. My only complaint is the entertainment cost. I don't have a problem with the waterpark price, but over seven dollars for a laser tag match is ridiculous. You will pay the same for a ride on the go carts. I also had an opportunity to use the bowling alley. The bowling balls looked like they were left over from the Flintstones. I believe they're going to charge top dollar they need to have top equipment. The hotel offers a free breakfast but it appeared to be understaffed and had difficulty keeping up with the demand. read more

Hotel is NOT clean. Pillow cases have stains, holes and dried food in them. Rooms smelled. Towels are not clean, old. Good luck sleeping here; you can hear every single conversation from next door. Let's not even begin on foot steps from upper level. Water park is fun, hotel is the worst. read more

We stayed in the hotel and got the unlimited access for this weekend for my daughters b day. The hotel was intresting, as I can hear people from every room around you till about 2 or 3am. Mind you we paid over 800$ for the room and unlimited access but that didn't stop all the noise and hearing people's kids run up and down the hallways all hours of the night. The pool area had one lifeguard at a time who was doing anything but looking at the water or the children in the water. Occasionally there would be 2 lifeguards and they would be flirting or talking the entire time and not watching the water. The staff in the hotel where you get breakfast we're fighting and extremely rude. And the staff outside where the go carts were are unfair and also just didn't care what the kids were doing. There were multiple unsupervised children running around causing havoc on other kids and making it miserable for everyone else. don't waste your money at this place, the staff is absolutely horrible here and act like they r doing u a favor by being there. read more

Love this place for some family fun! We met my brother and his family and spent two nights here enjoying the games and water park together. Everything you need is right here. No need for going out to eat or entertainment. I highly recommend it! read more

Not a fan of the ticketless/tokenless arcade system. The whole fun of most of the games is having the machine spit out tickets. The new card system is lame and teaches kids to just swipe away. The system now loads all the tickets on a card and doesn't show the kids the cost of each game. This idea might make the company more money, but it takes all the fun away for the customer. Also, before you book a party make sure there's going to be staff to actually man the activities or they will be closed. read more

Good expensive family fun out of the winter weather, they have the water park, ropes course, bowling and arcade games. During the summer they have go-karts, mini golf and bumper boats. Well worth the 6-hour drive so our kids could play in a care-free setting. Delicious hot biscuits & gravy for breakfast. Slept really well after water sliding our brains out. Poor planning. They sell tickets for 'unlimited' attraction for a time line and then pack the place so full that you wait 45-60 minutes in line to do anything. Pretty disappointing when you take your kids to have fun for the day and can only do 3 of 5 things you paid for in a 3 hr window. Steer clear of this place on the weekends or when there is any large group event. And the staff were incredibly rude about everything. read more

We took advantage of the Stay and Play package this weekend. It was super easy to get the passes. We just took the voucher to the bowling desk. There is a skywalk between the hotel and Triple Play so you don't have to go outside in bad weather. I didn't do laser tag but all the other attractions I could do were fun. I can't say much about Raptor Reef since even the smell of the chlorine made my eyes burn after just a few minutes. My nephews and niece liked it though and if you don't have sensitive eyes it is probably okay. The hotel was clean and the room was a good size. The bathroom is regular size instead of barely bigger than a closet like in other hotels I have been to. They also have a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker in the room with plenty of cabinet space so you can save money on food if you want. Speaking of food, the breakfast offers plenty of choices. They had sausage, biscuits and gravy, eggs, bagels, donuts, cereals, and yogurt. Along with all of that they also have an automatic pancake maker. You just press the ok button and not more than two minutes later a pancake comes out the rollers at the end. The staff was all really friendly and helpful!. I would of said that before the day of checkout but it became even more appearant that morning. I was cleaning up the mess the kids made so housekeeping wouldn't have even more work than usual while my sister took things down to the car. I had hit my head on the cupboard door while getting the snacks out and kind of slammed it shut. My nephews were also fighting and I was yelling at the oldest to leave his brother alone. He is bigger and stronger than me so I can"t do anything physically. The front desk called saying they had gotten complaints of loud noise coming from the room. If it had been to tell us to quiet down I would have completely understood. It wasn't that at all though. She said she was calling to make sure everything was okay. I didn't give them 5 stars because of two things I would like to see changed. First, the parking in front of the hotel should be reserved for hotel guests instead of general parking. My sister had to park across the street in their extra parking and move it in front of the hotel after they were closed and parking thinned out. Second, I'd like to see either a small recycling bin in each room or a big one by the ice machines on each floor with signs in each room saying they are available. I felt bad throwing out all those pop cans the six of us used. If we could give half stars it would have been 4.5 . read more

I had low expectations, but wanted a fun weekend activity for the kids, and so happy that I was pleasantly surprised! We purchased the package through the hotel and enjoyed all the activities - ropes course, climbing wall, mini golf, arcade, bowling, water park and bumper cars. The kids loved it, and from an adult perspective, I loved how clean it was and how genuinely nice and proactive their staff was on this busy weekend. We will definitely be back! read more

I notice the pool area smelled of strong chlorine, and I didn't put two and two together. Still, when a pool starts to smell like that, it usually has to do with the pool not being that clean, and sure enough, three of the nine people that were with us that day (one living in a different household) experience stomach cramps, vomiting, and fevers 24 hours after swimming there. All of us ate the same food, so it wasn't food poisoning, and all went swimming, but those three both said that they did have some pool water enter their mouth. My advice to you all is to avoid the pool, especially if the smell of the chlorine is powerful and stick to everything else. I will not be going back there, unfortunately. read more

Not our favorite, for one it is really spendy to go here especially for our family of 6, Staff isn't always friendly and it is not the cleanest. We have done the water park arcade and laser tag all three are super fun and great for the whole family except for the water park. They have a children's play area but that is really the only place that my little one was aloud to go super disappointing, your better off going to silver mountain or silverwood! read more

This is probably the biggest waste of money possible for bringing my family for one of our go to stops on our vacation. Come to Hayden each year to see grandparents and should have just taken the family fishing. We won't waste our time or money coming here again. Token machines weren't working properly, only giging 16 tokens instead of 20 so make sure to count tokens before using them. read more

Gross!! Saw trash and junk everywhere! Nasty bathrooms and equipment! Lifeguards and staff SUPER rude, demeaning and incompetent. Hotel rooms even worse! Breakfast was awful. Absolutely amazing place! Came here over the holiday break with my 3 year old daughter and 7 year old niece. They had a blast! The staff was so welcoming and very friendly. Two employees stood out to me though, we were first helped by Connor I believe, he was very informative and explained what all my 3 year old was able to do there. Ava downstairs helped us cash out our tickets, she was so patient and understanding as the girls took forever to choose what they wanted. If you're coming here with toddlers I definitely recommend the water park, the kiddie pool area was perfect to keep my daughter entertained, definitely recommending this place to more people! read more

My group was here from out of state we had all day passes that included pizza and drinks. While there the male who was running the food for our group never once changed his gloves including but not limited to: after taking out the case with his glasses and putting his glasses on, after picking up trash from the floor, then sticking his finger inside the drink pitcher filling it back up and placing it on the table for people to drink from, he also got into a heated and loud argument with one of the other kitchen staff. I think maybe a refresher course on food handling might be called for. If retraining were to be conducted on the gentleman who stated during his argument that he has been there for 15 months. The stars could be upgraded as the rest of the establishment was great. But food is one area you don't get wrong or it will hurt your customers. read more

We're in the water park here and it's just so annoying. You've got lifeguards here whose sole job is blowing the whistle at kids who go in the deep end and too close to the to the rocks. Here's a thought: maybe if the rocks are dangerous, how about you get rid of the rocks instead of just constantly blowing the whistle and killing the joy of the kids and embarrassing them. There's also no water carpets allowed in the main pool, no jumping off the side of the pool and into the deep end. The list goes on and on. Save your money. Go somewhere where you don't have glorified, whistle-happy, killjoy, hall monitors for lifeguards. read more

We understand the restrictions put on the park due to covid. The issue we had was that you spend a lot to "Stay and Play" (not to mention we were celebrating so on top of our family we ended up purchasing 6 additional passes) yet you can't check into your room until 4:00 and the park closed at 9:00. The following morning we had planned on making that our "all day event" nice try though cause the park didn't open until 11:00, water park at 3:00, and room check out was 12:00. So the convenience of having a room to shower and change and decompress throughout the day is completely moot. Fast forward to today and they are "short staffed" so not all attractions are even open at 11:00 meanwhile management is standing around "observing." The whole experience put a bad taste in our mouths and we probably won't be back. Especially not for the "stay and play" scam. Oh and not to mention a family "stay and play" pack only covers 3 people....wth read more

Not super "family friendly". I took a friend's 10 yr old daughter to play arcade games. I went to sit down somewhere in the arcade while she played. There is absolutely no seating for parents. There is a closed of section for reserved parties. I asked the guy at the redemption counter and he took me to an area where there used to be a bench and said he didn't know where it went, apologized and went back to work. I sent a Facebook message asking why there isn't anywhere for parents to sit. Not everyone is ok with letting their kids run free without supervision. I was given an apology and the excuse that they're working on figuring out seating. No resolution offered, I wasn't told I could go ahead and have a seat in the party area. They did want to know the guys name at the redemption counter. I explained he gave the same amount of customer service I was getting from management. An apology with no resolution. After talking to a few people it has been that way for a while. You would think an establishment like this would make it comfortable for parents sit, visit with others and to supervise their children while they put money into the games, but what do I know? Not too happy with the way my complaint was handled. read more

It's been years since we've been here. I figured let's get out of town and do something fun that's in doors. Upon arrival everything seemed fine. We get to the miniature golf and started playing. Next thing we know 2 kids who were unaccompanied were hitting their golf balls in the same area as our family knocking ours out of the way and kicking them. We looked around and didn't see their parents. We just waited for them to pass and then continued onto our game. I said something to the young employees at the counter and come to find out the parents were in the golf area not paying attention to their kids!! Next we go wait in line for laser tag. As I sit in the line waiting for the kids to finished up I have about 4-5 girls sitting next to me flipping their cards in each other's faces and body. One girl almost got me in the face. Where are the parents? Who knows. Seems to be common at this establishment. I had to find a employee walking by and let her know the situation. I'm shocked at the lack of supervision at this place. We will never be back. We brought an exchange student here for something fun to do. We did all of our research online, double checked prices, and planned out a day here. Turns out their website was so out of date that their prices were WAY off and we got charged nearly DOUBLE the price that was advertised online. When I told the young guy at the register what the prices said online, he said those were for a different season, and wouldnt even let me show him what it said online! So much for the customer being right. This is also a huge Bait-And-Switch. We had already drive over an hour to be here, and didnt want to ruin it for our exchange student, so we sucked it up and paid all the money. It was so much that it ate up what we has budgeted in for dinner, which in turn caused us to have to leave early so we could go home and have dinner instead of have pizza like we told the kids we would. While the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean, the beds and even the bedding are so worn that you will be uncomfortable all night. As well, the poor construction means that you will hear every movement and conversation in every nearby room. Perhaps kids can ignore this and enjoy the experience, but I cannot recommend this place for a good night's sleep. The prices do not make this a good value. We will not return. read more

So poorly managed that its really only for tourists, most locals go only on special occasions. Was there with my family on my son's 8th birthday and it reminded me again why we don't go often. My son's 11th birthday party, 15 people, $500 for an Extreme Party only to be a ride on a go cart, Climbing a rope bridge and a game of bowling, 6 place settings in the party room, 8 gift bags, topped by getting kicked out of the waterpark because the parties don't include that feature. Rude teenaged staff, no care for anyone or anything. Lines of people for every attractions, over priced food and drinks and 3.00 video games. This is a definite Canadian Tourist Trap. Save your money am go to Silverwood. Yeah still some lines but more professionally ran, better waterpark and attractions, $200 less for a party of 15 and includes an all you can eat buffet. Triple plays worn out equipment and sub standard service shouldn't be tolerated. Other reviews saying it was great have to be during the school year on a Wednesday. This place sucks and I will make sure as many people know about it. read more

I've lived in North Idaho nearly my whole life so I am very familiar with Triple Plays Fun Park. From the beginning it was so nice and fun to have a place to take the kiddos that wasn't as busy and widely spread out as Silverwood (much less expensive as well!). It's the perfect environment for all ages and there's never something not to do. The food is great, the games are fun. The remodel and addition is FANTASTIC! The only suggestion I can think of is another air conditioner. It gets WARM when more people arrive haha! read more

We visited the indoor water park and had a great time. The pools are clean and there was plenty of seating available to watch the kids play. Dressing rooms were also clean and inviting. The kids had a blast on the all the slides and we would go there again. read more

First of all you don't have to stay at the hotel to play and I'm not sure I would stay there again but I will definitely stop at Triple Play to play again! The water slides were fun and smaller than Great Wolf lodge which was great for my 7 year old. As an adult I had a lot of fun as well and liked that the lines were not crazy long. The wave pool had great waves contrary to another reviewers post. It is not as deep as say Great Wolf lodge but again with my 7 year old I liked that it wasn't so deep I was worrying about him, we all enjoyed playing in the waves. The kid area was great, the two water slides in this section were not as steep as Great Wolf lodge which was perfect for my 4 year old. By the end of the weekend she had built her confidence up and went onto the red "big" slide no problem. We purchased the discounted 6-10pm pass that included everything except the ropes course and had a ton of fun. The arcade had a great selection and paid out nicely in tickets compared to some other locations. Laser tag, putt putt and bumber cars were fun too. We ran out of time to do it all but that was fine, the kids had fun! read more

Brought my Grandson up from Pocatello. He was so excited to do the rope course. Paid $10, was told he could stay on as long as he wanted but once he got off he was done. After about 30 minutes 5 employees decide to take a break together and kick everyone off the rope course. So we purchased rock wall tickets. Get down stairs to that and find it's closed. I was not happy and my Grandson was sad. I won't go back! read more
