Okay so .... This place has come a long way since we were here in 2017. Other than the low quality shower head, new upgrades and improvements on the rooms! So much better! New furniture, wall decor, lighting, bed/headboard, nightstands, TV frame with TV mount. I admit I was reluctant to come back here but I'm so glad I booked it. Also, the continental breakfast didn't disappoint. My favorite thing was the pancake maker. You press a button and 2 small fresh pancakes are created within 12-15 seconds. You set your plate down under the machine and they both land on your plate. It was a little entertaining lol. There is a water fountain that's located near the dining room. It also offers a filtered water refill system. We didn't have to keep buying bottled water! This saved us time and money. Don't count on the elevator to be quick to get to you. I guess my impatience became a factor. So the stairs became my friend. It's not like there were too many stairs to climb. Anyhoo, if you're considering visiting, I would recommend! read more

Maids did a poor job cleaning from previous tenants (trash left behind), no soap or shampoo in the dispensers, parking is horrible (expect a hike) They claim to have a water park but the truth is that the water park and the resort are two separate businesses. You cannot get access to the park when paying for your room - you have to go next-door and pay like anybody else coming in off the street (they do give you a $10 discount coupon, however) Looking back, I could have just saved by staying at a cheaper / smaller place and visited the water park separately read more

This was a last-minute booking and what a surprise it was for me and my kids. I can't wait to take them back again. For the price they had the most fun that you could possibly have in a 12 hour period. Water park, bowling lanes, ropes course, virtual reality, and so much more. The fact that it snowed while we were there slow down the traffic so we had a pretty slow day there so we ran around like chickens with our heads cut off and had the run of the place to ourselves. Pros: most items are included in the day cost. You can do as many things over and over again for free. The food there isn't badly priced. Cons: VR and Axe throwing was over priced. Cathy at the front desk blew the water out of our stay at the Davenport our last two nights beforehand. WONDERFUL customer service. A great experience all around. Tips on local attractions as tourists with a young child and so much more. Tip (that's her name) in the morning was amazing as well and the breakfast staff were heard laughing and enjoying their jobs. Do you know how refreshing it is to hear and experience people enjoying their jobs? So good. And the room was very comfortable, clean and just right for us. A GREAT experience. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The air conditioner worked really well. The bed was comfortable and had lots of pillows. The breakfast said it was a buffet but was really just a continental breakfast with a few extras like sausage gravy and eggs. It was good though. The man dishing out the hot food was very friendly and attentive. The people at the front desk were nice and helpful. We got food from the restaurant one night. I don't know if this is always the case or just because of the pandemic but it wasn't really much of a restaurant. It is in an open area with a bowling alley and only offers pizza and a few appetizers. We got chicken strips and fries and they were really hot and good. Because of the water park area (which you have to pay extra for) there isn't a pool you can just go to. Overall, if you're in the area it's a nice play to stay. read more

Don't waste your money staying here. We booked one night thinking we would get full access to the park for 2 days because the gentleman at the front desk who checked us in assured us that we'd get a late checkout. We have a dog with us so we only agreed to do the stay here if we had the ability to checkout late. The lady at the front desk said that she couldn't let us have a late checkout because too many people want to check in early. I told here that we tried to check in early and they wouldn't let us. I also checked availability online and the place is wide open (it is mid-week). So we paid for 2 days of park access but we will only be allowed access for 8 hours because they lied to us and decided to punish us because we had a dog. Judging by the other reviews on Yelp, not surprised. I will never give them my business again. If you decide to enjoy the park, FIND ANOTHER HOTEL TO STAY AT. Or just visit for the day. The hotel here is absolutely filthy anyways. Even stains on the ceiling. Disgusting. UPDATE: Tammy (hotel manager) said there was nothing she could do, without even looking into it. Read other reviews and you will see she is an AWEFUL "human." These people need a reality check. They run the most disgusting hotel in North Idaho. I booked my stay for 3 nights. I only stayed 1 night. When I arrived the front desk put me in between 2 rooms that were being worked on by maintenance. The room stunk so bad and the bathroom light didn't even work. I went back up to the front and asked for a different room. They switched my room. The odor in the rooms are hard to handle, but it was a little better. Supposedly you have access to a hot tub there and that is it unless you pay for it. I wanted to see the hot tub so I walked down to it and it had a chain across the gate. I called the front again and they said they would have to get it off later because they were with a customer. I waited and waited and waited! I finally called the front desk again and the lady said "I took the chain off and tried to call you" I let her know that the phone in the room wasn't working. That's why I didn't received her call. She proceeded to let me know that if I wanted to go back to the hot tub I should prop the door to the outside open with a chair because the door isn't working right. I guess this is common place for them. I was pretty much irritated by that point. I stayed 1 night only because I was exhausted! The "upgraded" room was not clean. The toilet seat was about to break off. I paid way too much money for these conditions! I could go on... But I'm done. I do not recommend this place. read more

Not the cheapest get away by any means but I didn't have a lot of expectations coming here to begin with. The hotel itself is pretty outdated, definitely felt like we were staying at a motel from the early 90s than a "resort" paying $150/night. Rooms were pretty standard - nothing noteworthy nor was there anything to complain about aside from the thin walls and doors. The folks upstairs to us had kids running around the room all night so it felt like living in an apartment with stomping and footsteps all night. The front door pretty thin as you can hear people walking and talking and some kids screaming. It probably didn't help that we were right next to the elevators so as groups congregated there it got pretty loud. The pool area itself is no Great Wolf Lodge but for $15 for a play all day was worth it. Especially for having a toddler who was too small for other games and whatnot, the toddler wading pool and slides and the wave pool was perfect for what she and myself enjoyed. Four large water slides were fun (needing to be at least 42" to play these) and the lines moved pretty quickly. The wave pool is smaller but for the amount of people there this past weekend was very manageable. The water itself is borderline cold though, they kept the temperature inside the pool area itself manageble but the water was still cold. The arcade area is pretty small but has all the staples for fun and updated games. we didn't have any issues with any of the games and most of them ranged from .50 cents to $1.50 to play so it wasn't too unreasonable. Because we had a toddler that was too small we didn't partake in any of the other activities or bowling. However - if you're a bowler, i wouldn't recommend it as it uses the string system to reset the pins. The pizza/food parlor was good! it was a nostalgic made to order pizza (tasted like elementary school pizza) which was surprisingly delicious to me. Two nights here for 5 of us was about $500 after all was said and done. Which again wasn't cheap but the amount of fun we had and how much my 4 year old daughter loved it, i'd say it was worth every penny. pair that with the simple breakfast buffet which was included made it nice. Also Shelly at the night front desk is awesome, she took her time to check me in, explain how everything works and where things were and also went the extra mile to ensure that i didn't have to move rooms the next morning. so definitely want to send her some love and appreciation! read more

I do not see how a 2 Star hotel (Triple Play) received a 4.1 rating? It has to be for the amusement park facility. I recently stayed there for the weekend 8/19/22 - 8/21/22 and here's where my $792.00 for two nights went. Room 120: Human hair in both beds. Hair in towels Filthy telephone Dusty alarm clock Dusty lamp Worn, Sunken, & Lumpy mattresses Dirty carpet Slow drain for the tub Flat pillows Small Television Guest Service Representative Cathy constantly coughing in my room near my children. Children constantly running down the halls in the late hours of the night Children stomping on the floor which was our ceiling. Front Desk: Rude Guest Service Representative (Cathy) on check-in date 08/19/22 Triple Play is so filthy Oscar the Grouch wouldn't stay there. My room had so much hair they need to call it the Rogaine Suite located in the Head & Shoulders corridor. The mattresses look like it was donated to them from a homeless shelter. The floors down the hall were sunken, the carpet was beyond filthy, and the carpet had more spots than Chester Cheetah. Simply put their rooms are the kind of rooms you place sex offenders in as there "transitioning" into the civilian world. Good luck going to the front desk or management because they simply don't give a damn. Going to them is like a scene from Goodfellas "Oh! Your bed is lumpy? F you, pay me. There's hair all over your fresh towels? F you, pay me. The telephone is dirty F you, pay me." So, what do you do when staff doesn't care, and management is giving you the run around? Great, basic hotel to stay at while you visit the water park and arcade. Clean and stocked, but definitely dated. We had two adults and two kids and stayed overnight Sat to Sun. It is pet friendly and I seen a few dogs, but didn't hear any. Kids were relatively quiet as well at night time. The give out earplugs if kids are too loud which I think is hilarious. The free breakfast was okay. Plenty of hot and cold choices. You have to take it back to your room though because of COVID. We checked in on Saturday June 4th, 2022 and purchased two rooms. We had two king rooms with pull out couches but there were no blankets for them. When I called to request some I was told that there were none, that she would check but getting extra blankets "probably won't happen." I mean, I guess I appreciate the honesty but how in the world can a hotel have no blankets for the guests? To make matters worse, one of the pull out couches had dirty sheets, as in stains. Totally gross. The elevator was broken for most of our stay but they did get it fixed in time for me to use the luggage cart for checkout. The free breakfast was very good and the amusement park side is great but spendy. The noon checkout is nice. We reserve two rooms at least three weeks ahead just to accommodate two families to have fun in the area. When we arrived, the lady at the front desk was very friendly. The lady give us two rooms that have two doors inside where our kids can walk in easily if we wanted to. The rooms we were in were clean, beds and pillows are very comfortable. Shower head have good pressure and good amount of hot water. They have plenty of shampoo, and conditioner. The water park which our kids have fun all night were amazing. You can buy the bracelet for each kid to have access to the water park indoor, bowling lanes, golf outdoor, Go karts ride, etc. and a $10 value to play at the arcade. The Arcade cost $3.99 so it was not that much. The breakfast is nothing special but sausages, eggs, yogurt, biscuits, bread and milk. I always start off with parking and let's say by check in time between triple play and the resort it's very hard to find parking! You definitely have to go earlier. Check in was pretty easy we paid cash so we also had to do an extra 50 deposit that we did receive on check out we bought two extra passes for the waterpark area. Room321 Smell. 319 no smell Once we got into my room of course I whipped out my camera to take some pictures for yelp . Unfortunately on my camera we don't have anything you can smell the room with it smelled like campfire is the only way I can describe it I called downstairs try to get the problem resolved and they said it's due to the heat or the AC not being used which I thought was ridiculous because I'm sure both were used we also had the room next-door to us and we have the same temperature in that room with no smell at all! We did have a maintenance guy, all he did was spray frbreeze our room that was pointless. Some sort of an orange-spray. Unfortunately the smellcontinued through our entire weekend and front desk did little or nothing about it is quite irritating considering it was bothering everybody sinus in the room. And now we got no compensation and we didn't get switched to a different room I would have gladly went Also the kids bunkbeds do not come with blankets they have thin sheets on them and a little bit thicker sheet that my daughter would describe as a towel. She said it was very itchy and uncomfortable coming from a seven-year-old who probably doesn't care too much about comfort she's more excited to be here at the waterpark hotel so obviously it did bother her. I called the front desk and make sure they would send up heavier blanket. They sent her another towel like sheet ...pointless As far as mattress go I know you're not staying here for the pristine hotel but come on they make so much money can't they replace the mattresses there so uncomfortable I remember coming here last October staying in at triple queen bed room with the same issue their mattresses have been warped you can literally see the groove that everyone has slept in! We also had a lovely addition in our bedroom upon check-in so I made sure to take a picture of our ant friends really disgusting once again front desk did shit all to do anything about it. Believe me I had my camera out! That is disgusting. Our rooms came with breakfast which is pretty well packed in the morning we went one day around 8 o'clock it wasn't that bad the next day it was 930 insanely packed kudos to the workers that were trying to restock as fast as possible that lady worked superhard very friendly! In the bunkbed room there is also a game cube you can bring your own games or they have like five selections at the front desk kid friendly they do charge a dollar for your stay per game. I do remember coming last October and having kids run a marathon above my head at 12 AM in the morning same same thing happened this year but I did bring a noisemaker in my room it's an air purifier Lord did it help!!! I think I talked enough LOL all in all kids will like everything there the rooms are motel6 rooms. If you're going there with that standards you'll be satisfied it's ridiculously overpriced but the kids did have a great time at the triple play area so all in all it's worth it but as far as the hotel rating goes one star only for the breakfast and that lady that kept everything replenished!!!! read more

My original rating was three stars. Too many out-of-order items (vending machines, green slide, pancake maker, etc). Rooms need to be updated as aged accommodations. Now to the good stuff. Not autism friendly. I had 2 life guards yell at him to the point he didnt want to go back to the water area. I spoke with management and they offered us free drinks! That was it. Then the next day our linen was changed and there was dirt/trash in the fresh bedding The room keys quit working a couple times. The tub was dirty. Management avoided me when I complained and let the younger staff handle it where I was comped $70. My autistic child was treated unfairly by 2 life guards and not once after complaining and it being our first family vacation did anyone step up except one staff member who was more than sweet in the arcade! Upon checking in tonight very late as we were at Silverwood all day we walk into our room that smells so strongly of urine it was overwhelming. It smelled like a pet friendly room and when we asked to move rooms because the odor is so bad we were told they were booked and someone would be up to try and fix the smell.... very disappointed never had an issue before and this was unfortunate. A guy comes up with a spray and says I can spray this around... UPDATE: Dayshift was much more helpful and moved us to another room and gave us a discount for the inconvenience. Just wow... probably some of the worst money we've spent. Ok. So for a family of four, on a Sunday check in, one night is 209 plus taxes and fees, making the room about 240. It is a dive. It reminded me of a budget 8 or whatever is lower than motel 6. The floor, although 1980s brown colored, was stained and sticky...it was disgusting. ( I honestly mean sticky, no exxageration) The beds? Holy crickey, you could feel every lump bump and spring...we could literally scoot to the side of the mattress and roll down to the saggy middles. Over 200 dollars for this non sleepless night...ugh. walls were paper thin. AND I MEAN YOU CAN HEAR EVERYTHING ALL NIGHT. So your there for triple play right? OK, that's another 45.99 per person per day. So a family of four, checking in Sunday, playing, checking out Monday but playing a few hours...total will be a little over 600 not including the arcade, food, or gas. The water park was 4 total slides, a ripple pool, and a kid zone THATS IT. The ripple pool is 3.6 feet deep i belive...so no swimming no floating no parent relaxing. We were all so board in a short time...it was awful. (Maybe kids under 12 would be captivated longer) The ambiance of the game area is that of a tavern with bowling, dark carpet and adults with plenty of beer. We checked out a day early and went to silver mtn. Got a 1 bedroom large beautiful room for less and the water park at silver mtn is phenomenal and included . Triple play costs a lot. The value is not matching the costs. The whole atmosphere makes you feel yucky dirty. The reason for 2 stars, not just one? The breakfast ladies were so nice, helpful, polite and doing all they could during covid. They deserve praise for their hard work. very misleading on the telephone with the front desk transferring us to "booking" is actually a third-party not associated with the hotel so now if we want to go use the waterpark and attraction that's a separate cost. The room is filthy , mattresses are gross and covered with sheets to hide it. talk to the manager Hip I believe was her name and she said "we are not associated with the resort side so there is nothing we can do . as well when we booked they said they have a pool and a spa however that was a lie because that is attached to the resort side not the hotel so you cannot use it unless you pay for it. we drove 7 hours and always with the kids stay at a hotel with pool so whenever we get back they can swim and relax and we can too in a hot tub. very sad they wouldn't do anything on the hotel side to compensate us for anything or passes to the water / amusement attached to the hotel in the name "triple play AND resort suites" nothing resort like here . very dissatisfied and disappointinv , rude management read more

OK, let me tell you how it really is! I was worried about coming here due to all the negative people leaving bad reviews. Almost cancelled our trip. After spending our first 24 hours here it's been nothing but an amazing and fun place to be. We have five kids who are the ages 11 and under and had no issues or complains about anything at the park or the hotel. The free continental breakfast is amazing. Don't listen to any bad reviews who wanted steak for breakfast. If you don't like free food or your miserable life, take your butt and go pay for some other food that you really want. This place is not a $1,000 room a night hotel so don't expect everything to be perfect. Besides we have stayed at $1,000 per night rooms before and it is not perfect at all. Overall, triple play hotel and resort is awesome!!! Staff are great, place is amazing, nothing to complain about. Your on vacation! Have fun! My kids, my husband and I, along with my in-laws got 3 rooms here for a family vacation while visiting Silverwood. We thought the kids would enjoy this hotel because of the many activities. As soon as we entered our room I immediately noticed how dirty the bed was with green diarrhea looking stains. I asked for new bedding and as I was waiting for that to be brought up I did a quick walk through. I immediately found blood stains on both regular beds and the pull out and garbage left from previous guests. The room was absolutely filthy. I asked for a new room. After a little run around we did get moved to a different floor than my in-laws and also found blood stains in the beds of the new room. All of our rooms were like that. My sister-in-law asked for a deep clean of all 3 rooms. Ours was not done. We have been to many hotels for vacations and have never experienced this before. My 10 year old son got bit up pretty badly and we suspect they have pretty serious bed bugs. We were about to get a little bit of a discount but I don't think that makes up for my son's injury as well as the bioharzards they put their guests through. They need to get better house keeping, better staff, and learn how to properly clean rooms. read more

The girl serving hot food at breakfast had her mask half on, not covering her nose. Really not ok. Lots of signs up saying masks required in the hotel but we didn't see any other guests wearing them. Theres only 2 good things about this hotel. One is it has large rooms and second it's connected to Triple Play. Besides that nothing about this hotel is good. I understand there will be kids but the jumping up and down from all the kids above us was insane. It kept us up all night and woke us up early morning. Good value for the money. There was 5 of us so we got a room with 3 queen beds, one of which was in its own side room. The hotel room was fairly clean, although not immaculate. It had some nice features but the fridge not being fully functional, absence of fan or courtesy spray in the bathroom, old linens and holes in our pillow cases were substandard. We booked the room on weekday rates for $185 a night, which is the biggest reason I am leaving a 4* review. For those with a family of 5 or more, you know how unaccommodating hotels can be and this place is very family friendly. I felt the staff there was exceptionally pleasant and the breakfast was pretty good. read more

Love, love, love! I've lived in the area my whole life but I've stayed in the hotel. Not only is it super nice with great amenities, it's right next to the fun park. I've stayed here twice now, each time on President's weekend when they were fully booked. Both times have been really nice, the rooms clean and the staff were all pretty awesome. This time they had a deal running for buying the room and two day, all inclusive day passes for three people for $300. That knocked off about $200 if we were to purchase passes for the second day so that was a huge win in my book. My only complaints were about the maintenance man on the morning of 2/17 (Sunday) I was woken up before 6:30AM from him vacuuming!!! Seriously?? And it was the most annoyingly loud, high pitched vacuum ever. My mother got up and went out to tell him that it was really loud and had woken us up (myself, my mom, and two kids) and the guy grumpily, said something very rude, turned around and kept vacuuming! I was livid. I have worked in the hotel business for over ten years and it seems like it's always policy to not vacuum until at least 8AM. Our room was also right by the elevator which was annoying, especially since I made the reservation over a month ago and we checked in very early, when we asked if they could move us to a different room they said they were full and couldn't, pretty sure you could have switched us with a room that hadn't arrived yet since it was well before regular check in time. My mom also had running kids above her head in her room from 11PM until she finally fell asleep despite it around 12:30AM. She did call the front desk about it but no one did anything. And by the time she woke up the next morning (with vacuum man) the kid was either still or again running back and forth across the room above her. Other than those couple things though I appreciate that the rooms are spacious, clean, the TV works, there are DVD players, and the showers are hot and have a steady stream. Continental breakfast is definitely one of the bigger spreads I've seen and pretty tasty (very heavy on the carbs though). We will be back again I'm sure. read more

Very overpriced. The breakfast was just junk. Cheap food, poor selection. The water park was so crowded, dirty, and poorly run. The staff was aloof on things they should've enforced (cleanliness, dress codes, safety) and very busy enforcing ridiculous things (do not move beach chairs!!) The hotel suite we had was really nice. The hotel staff at check in took our cell numbers to call if our room got cleaned up before the 4pm check in time. The only issue is if yiu are doing any arcade stuff you dont get cell reception so you will miss the call. The hot breakfast is pretty good and it is nice to have that included into your hotel stay. The price for a hotel suite with 2 day passes at a little under $300 was well worth it for a family of 5. read more

The hotel is nice. It's great that we can just stay right there so we can have fun the whole weekend even though we live far away.

Great place to stay if you are in town visiting. It is so convenient with the sky bridge connecting the hotel and the fun park! Make sure you package with the hotel because it is a lot cheaper! There are a bunch of room types and options available as well! read more
