Stopped here on a 72 mile bike ride from Cazenovia to Binghamton - Picked up a Philly Cheesesteak that was IMHO better than anything in the Phila area (where I live). Especially good was the mushrooms - they were cooked to world-class level. Very friendly staff, pleasant setting - warrants going out of your way to visit. Medium burger cooked to shoe leather, soggy fries because my special instruction of cheese on side was disregarded. This is easily the third time my order has been massacred. Ordered a crush soda, because it was an option on their online ordering platform, but no crush was available. Would give a quarter star if I could. I'm done with this place. read more

Driving through Greene on our way to a friend's house (from NH) and needed a quick bite to eat, fairly late. Yelped this place and called - they closed in 8 minutes. We rushed there, and arrived just in the nick of time. The girl at the counter was very friendly, and didn't seem to mind that we got there right before her shift was ending. I ordered a ham and cheese sub and my husband ordered a steak and cheese. They did have a variety of specialty sandwiches. As we were leaving, we apologized for coming in so late. The owner (I presume) and the customer service gal assured us that they were happy to have us and even if we were coming through at 8:00 or a little after, to call ahead and they'd be sure to wait for us the next time we were coming through. He asked if we were local or from out of town. When we told him out of town, he wished us safe travels. In a world where customer service is a dying art, we were appreciative of the pleasantries! As far as the food - my husband really liked his steak and cheese. Meat was fresh and tender, and the onions and peppers were cooked well. Really tasty! (He reluctantly let me try a bite.) My sandwich was missing a few veggies that I asked for, but the ham itself was so good and plentiful, and it was late, so I forgive them. Our only "complaint", really, was the lack of napkins in the takeout bag, but to be fair, we could have grabbed some on the way out. Just some friendly advice. We'd recommend this establishment for a hearty bite to eat and friendly service. read more

I work locally so I ordered a burger special. I ordered a medium burger. I went to pick it up and then got back to work and proceeded to take a bite and it was more like medium to medium rare but I thought let's take another bite. Nope it got worse. At this point it was too late to take it back. I finished my lunch and the next day let the cashier know it was bad. Well she said I'm sorry I'll let him meaning Kenny know it was bad. That's all I got was a sorry for terrible food, may never return there. So sad cause I have 20 years experience in food service so I would have given a free meal but that's just me wanting to make it right read more

I've been here a few times and every time I visit I'm not disappointed. This place has excellent original sandwiches and even has thier own take on some classics. While thier one drawback is the greasiness of some of thier burgers they have plenty of healthy options to choose from. Thier service is pleasant, informative, and the owners are community friendly as well. If you are ever in the area on a weekday, you should stop at The Trojan House! read more

I thought they were 5 stars before today but this takes the cake! I just started back on Weight Watchers. They made one of my favorite sandwiches in a WW style for only 6 points. They knew what to do and they made me feel good about my choice too. I'm so impressed with the Trojan House. Came upon this little gem at the tail end of our cross country trip from California to Cape Cod, MA. My husband and I split the meatball sub and buffalo chicken wrap. We were both happy with our meals (especially with the meatballs) and the staff was very welcoming and friendly.
