I came here expecting a mangonada but got a fruit slushie instead. Instead of shaved ice it was more like crushed ice. I can't say I hated it but if you're looking for a real mangonada you're better going off somewhere else. They serve a lot of things here. Maybe even more than the usual place with things like root beer floats and stuff but they are also a bit pricier. A tall mangonada costs $7 here. Anyways, not my favorite but still pretty good on a hot day. read more

One of the first places I wandered upon after moving to SA in 2021. Love the variety of items on the menu. Can definitely find any Mexican snack type food here. Everything I order always comes out great. My biggest complaint here is service can be tremendously slow. Not odd to wait a long time for your order. Okay so after everyone telling me how "great" and "amazing" this place was, I thought why not try it. Now I'm out $17, that I regret spending. 1) this place is trash. It looked like no one cleaned this place since the day it opened. 2) the workers speak to you in Spanish, when they obvious also speak English. What??? 3) corn in the cup is horrible. It's nothing like the kind you find in Mexico or anywhere else in that matter. Not worth 3.50 4) when I ordered a sour something, I asked what snow cone flavor would be good with it and the worker said "a regular flavor" in a sarcastic tone. Nice. According to them they don't make orders in order of number (1,2,3 etc) but by whatever is "easiest." So if you are here first but 10 people after you order hot Cheetos with cheese they get their item first and sucks for you but you gotta wait. That isn't how you do customer service AT ALL. I really hate to leave a bad review but I just have to because I had high expectations for this place especially because it's not far from my house. The ice cream had no flavor at all. I tried the nachos that tasted like fake cheese. How can someone mess up nachos in San Antonio. They did. So many good treats here. My new go to place for funnel cake. Mangonadas are second to none and raspas use the good syrup.

Of course I'm a fan! What's not to love about mangoes on a stick and hot cheetos with cheese and nachos and corn dogs and fruit cups!?!? Mouth~watering. It's oh so good. My recent favorite is the T-Rex which is pretty much cut-up cucumber slices in a green chamoy sauce. I'm squinting right now thinking of the pickley sourness. Mmmmm. Couple of downfalls: the line does tend to get long and the wait time is sometimes long but it means they're making everything to-order. One thing I don't like is how the trash can is there and the bag isn't always on it properly; sometimes the trash even overflows. The corn cup was also bizarre cause I had to make my own after being handed a cup with corn in it. These minor things won't keep me from coming back for more mangoes on a stick though! Another plus is the cheese isn't all watery so feel free to order away on those cheesy snacks. Such a huge assortment of nada. Mango-nada, pickle-nada, chamoy-nada... everyhing is a nada! Great place for a quick snack! I love to get their mixed fruit cup with chamoy, Chile, and lemon. They don't just only put huge chunks of melons to fill the cup like others do. went and got 2 elotes and a mango cup. the mango cup was super good, fresh fruit. the corn on the other hand was topped with mozzarella cheese and a sliver of sour cream.... needless to say it was flavorless and just topped incorrectly. I went and asked to exchange the corn for something else and was told no because i was supposed to season the corn to my liking, with salt and lucas....what lol. overall, don't recommend and would instead recommend Senor Mango Ice Cream. read more

This place is good but they need new cashiers. I've dealt with the same one twice and she's got the nastiest attitude. The first time I ever went I had a kind of a large order and when she told the girls in the back they rolled their eyes and were annoyed to do their literal job. Then this time the cashier charged me for medium drinks and gave me smalls. Before I could even tell her she gave me the wrong sizes she closed the window in my face too quick. First time going here yesterday after passing by it the last couple of months. They have a lot of things to choose from including hot foods. I got a mangonada and strawberry snowcone for my daughter. Both tasted good and had a good portion for the price I payed. I thought it was just a snowcone place but turns out it's not. You order at the window and they accept card. They give you a ticket and then they call it out. We did have to wait a while but it's okay cause our stuff came out good. Lots of parking around the area.
