We absolutely love this place but I personally hadn't been in a while. My daughter would go pick up and bring back home. I took her yesterday and realized NO ONE in there is wearing masks or gloves. I know it's not required but really? Covid-19 cases are rising and they serve many many people all day!! Great stand for Mexican ice cream truck prepared type of snacks. I've had funnel cakes, raspas, cucumbers, and fruit cups. It's like that one ice cream truck you wait for, over all the others. Not too pricey. Plenty of seats. Nights can get pretty crowded. Late nights the environment starts to get that sketchy vibe. I made a yelp just to say that I love tropic express I have been going there sense I was a child and it was just a small shack they have excellent service always and the owner is a very nice lady but I miss the the days when the snowcones were actual CONES and had the dome on the top and not snow level in a cup I feel skimped when my snow cone is flat because when it has the dome on the top it's like a whole other half of the snow cone I'm sure I'm not the only one that misses that too please bring the cones back not trying to make any Enemies with tropic just a thought I will still go regardless on how y'all make the snow cones because everything on the menu is BOMB read more

Great spot that has evolved over the years. They have really made their place nice. Their prices are great. My family lives the very generous fruit cups. Im a sucker for their shave ice. But amazingly, their burgers are AMAZING, they are a must try. Their seating area is really good now and is covered with a tall roof. I love the Ultanada one of my favs. Theirs chocolate covered strawberries are covered in a different type of chocolate but its really good. This place is a hidden gem. Have pretty good raspas and a large verity of snacks. Iv to date had a snow cone, corn in a cup, fruit cup and cheese burger.. All were very good minus the burger being a bit salty. As far a customer service my first visit was great the young girl was very nice the second time I went both women were very short and unpleasant. It seemed as if one of the women knew one of the customers and carried on with their own conversation about what they did that wknd.. Mean while 3 other family and myself wait for service. Best changes mangonadas snacks and snow ones in town! Not gonna charge you extra for little things like extra Chile or champs. A huge variety of snacks tacos smoothies fruit cups. And everything is good with great customer service. I have a feeling Tropic Express is gonna be my new snack spot! They have so many yummy options it's so hard to choose just one. But I went with a brisket torta combo. The torta was delicious, huge too! It had such great flavor I finished the whole thing. The fries were good, with just the right amount of salt already on them. And last but not least, the lemonade was amazing! Perfect ratio of sweet to tart, absolutely refreshing! The service here is great as well, the young lady that helped us out today was friendly, and she joked around with us a little while taking our order.
