The smoothies are great, I love the island green one, but the service oh my god. The girl had the most passive aggressive expression, she was studying when we were on the way inside and we thought she was a customer. I could barely hear what she said and she just stared blankly and I was weirded out. My friend went the other day and everyone was talking loudly right behind the counter, it was so unprofessional. Don't get me wrong I love the smoothies here. One thing really bothers me the workers here are super disrespectful and not professional at all. The previous time I came here it was just a bunch of them chatting at the front counter and sitting at a table on their phone. I am not impressed with this place. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap with side of maple sweet potatoes. The wrap had maybe 6small pieces of chicken, soggy lettuce what there was of it, and it was drowning in sauce. The potatoes were not edible! The staff was just hanging out and not friendly. The absolute laziest staff and management. every time I order Uber eats, I don't get the full order. So today I called to place an order and the manager said "sorry were not taking orders over the phone, but you can come in and place your order" so we go in and place the order and the manager is sitting on the ground playing with her friends dog. so you have time to play with your friends dog but couldn't take my order over the phone?? ‍ on top of that my banana peanut butter flat bread is so burnt that I cannot even eat it. Every time I come to this Tropical Smoothie I am completely unimpressed. This time in particular, I ordered on the app and came in to pick it up. When I walked in all of the staff was sitting ON or standing around the counter just relaxing and talking. I had to go around one of them sitting on the counter to grab my food. I even got a dirty look from one of the employees like I did something wrong when all I did was spend $25 on my bad food and pick it up. I noticed when I grabbed my Lean Machine smoothie that it felt lighter than normal and saw that the top inch of the cup was empty and mostly liquid. Any other Tropical Smoothie I've ever been to fills it until it's coming out of the cut out of the lid for the straw. My smoothie also tasted bland and like sugar water. I was also never given a straw, but thankfully I had one from Chick-fil-A to use for it when I got home. When I got home (5 minutes away) I started eating my chicken pesto flatbread I noticed there was no tomato on it like it has on the menu. I later got to my Santa Fe chicken quesadilla that I ordered with NO onions or peppers and it was full of them and tasted very bland. I had also ordered the Harvest Cheddar Sun Chips for both meals and instead I got baked lays that I already know I don't like (which is why I got the Sun Chips). Due to the horrible past experiences with this location, I haven't been in almost a year, but I felt like giving them another try and clearly it was a mistake that won't happen again. read more

They offer amazing options; there truly is something for everyone! The only reason they did not get 5 stars from me is because the staff always seems indifferent whenever I go inside. Got the avocalada smoothie and the carribean jerk chicken bowl. I always get the same flavor smoothie. Definitely would recommend! The bowl however, I'm not a fan of. This is my first time getting actual food at tropical smoothie and it's literally just lettuce and cheese, w a tiny bit of chicken and pineapple. The ratio is way off. The sauce is also very overpowering in compare w the ratio of the amount of food I got in the bowl. I'm disappointed because I was very excited to try the jerk chicken bowl. I paid $13 for a smoothie and a wrap. I ordered on the website so I didn't know that they were out of ingredients until I got to the store and was told they couldn't make my smoothie because they were out of something so I had to pick something else. This was fine, I really didn't care that I had lost dollar or so for adding ingredients to the initial smoothie. But I did care when I got home and saw that my meal was substantially underprepared and missing most ingredients. I had originally ordered the veggie hummus wrap, which is what I used to get before this location was run by a bunch of high schoolers, and, not only did it contain zero hummus or veggies others than black beans, I couldn't even eat it because the flavor was horrible due to lack on ingredients (that they could have told me about instead of lowballing me) and general lack of flavor. The entire thing consisted of avocado, white rice, black beans and lettuce. With very few chunks of pickled red onion here and there. It was just objectively bad. This is not the first time I've been disappointed by this location in particular-- I stopped going there because my food was always missing something and just was overall poorly made and bad, which I know isn't the case at other locations because I've had the same thing there and it was much different. Please STOP HIRING HIGHSCHOOLERS and young students who don't how to make food or deal with supply issues properly and don't care to either. They don't know how to run a restaurant. read more

I really like this place as a post workout treat. They have a good range of smoothie flavors and sandwiches which makes it a great place for lunch. I don't know how healthy the smoothies are unless you are getting them with Splenda and they advertise getting a smoothie and a sandwich as a combo... which is quite a bit of food. Nice layout and good location. However, wait times are well below subpar and the staff is very unfriendly. Service is quick, food is fresh, and the staff is always really nice. I get a decently health lunch here (flatbread+smoothie) for about 8.50, not cheap, but not ridiculously expensive. I'm not sure if they changed management or what since they first opened, but not only have the ingredients substantially decreased in quality (ie stretchy fatty chicken, flimsy flatbreads, fake tasting fruit), but their service has become much worse as well. They wouldn't even come outside to give us our smoothies but instead we had to go back in after 15 minutes and they had our smoothies just sitting on the counter. I asked for LIGHT sauce on my flatbread and I got gross mayo spilling out on all sides. My bread was hardly even toasted and my smoothie was melted and not filled to the top.
