I stopped in for a quick bite to try the current Mike's Hot Italian special. When I ordered, one of the employees warmed the meats and initially packaged the sandwich without the usual toppings. I asked about the lettuce, tomato, mayo, and other options, and he corrected it by letting me choose my toppings as usual. Another employee seemed unsure of how to ring up the sandwich, so the process felt a bit slower than expected. It may have just been newer staff still learning, but the experience came across as slightly inefficient. In the end, the food tasted good and everything worked out. With a little more coordination, the overall experience would be smoother. read more

Last time I went I said a blt with just mayo they gave me bacon and mayo .this time I walked in and some guy was waiting at the register so thought he was waiting for his sandwich to be done I looked at the menu another man who walked in after me I let him go cause he knew what he wanted . He ordered . There were 3 employees there were two sandwiches just sitting there nobody behind the counter was doing anything except the one guys making one sandwich .the the man at the counter who was there when I walked in said can somebody take my order I've been waiting her forever they never even looked up the whole time he was there the guy flipped out. I typically like Jersey Mike's. I always get the same thing; #seven in a tub, add bacon, add pickles, cherry pepper relish on the side and Mike's way no onions. It's my delish go-to. Until recently at this location. I placed my order on the app so I could just grab and go during my lunch break. It wasn't ready when I got in, but was told it was being made at that moment. Okay, great. I bring it back to my office and the cherry pepper relish isn't on the side but all over everything! While I like spice, I like to use this sparingly as it packs a lot of heat. In a word, avoid. They're cheap on the meats, yet they pack it with onions like the other reviewer mentioned. These sandwiches should come with Tic Tacs instead of any other snack/side. read more

I usually love jersey Mikes subs but the last 2 times I've ordered I've had issues with the quality of the subs. Last time I ordered the subs didn't have cheese or the bacon on them and I paid for extra cheese and bacon on both subs. Tonight I decided to order again after a few months and this time everything was correct but my turkey subs were drenched in oil and vinegar and you might as well have called it an onion sub because both giant subs had way more onions than anyone could imagine. I had to throw them out because the bread was dripping wet with oils and vinegar. read more

I love Jersey Mike's. Definitely brings me back to the sub shop in New Jersey where I am pretty sure it all began. Everything is very good... The quality of the meat, the "works", the bread, the freshness, the consistency in how it's made. This was the first time I ordered it online and it was a perfect experience. I was able to customize my sub and it was prepared exactly as I requested. And it was ready when they said it would be, unlike Five Guys. But that's a different review. There's something about the shredded lettuce and shredded onion with the oregano and the olive oil and vinegar. Muah so good. Oh, and I had the classic Italian. I think there's another name for it but it's the one with the pepperoni and the cappy. It's a damn near perfect Italian hero. So much better than Subway in quality. There's really no comparison. My my mouth waters just thinking about Jersey Mike's. You may poo poo it but not me. It's exactly what I crave when I want an Italian hero. In fact, there's a local deli who makes a great hero too but I actually prefer Jersey Mike's as does my husband. Oh, and the roast beef is really good too. Perfectly rare. read more

Normally, Jersey Mike's provides an amazing sub. I was looking forward to getting a nice stickball after work today, however, they closed early. I attempted to call in my order around 830 this evening as I knew it would be close to closing time but there was no answer. I arrived to the front door around 844pm and the neon "open" sign was turned off, and the two workers were scrubbing the grill ignoring my audible knock. Today my office and I decided to try out Jersey Mike's. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and my friend ordered the Stickball Special. Both of us were above and beyond impressed! Both of our Subs had exactly what we ordered and were FRESH and the best quality!!!!!! Perfect portion of meat and toppings and very reasonably priced. Welcome to Bay Shore.
