The staff is ridiculously rude especially the manager who just tossed my phone back at me after telling me the coupon I was trying to use that I bought from a fundraiser at my daughter's school was not a valid coupon. I wish I had read the review from 8 days ago!! Yelp please allow for less than one star! I haven't had TS in a while and was in the mood for a smoothie so I stopped here. I walked in and there were already 3-4 ppl waiting in the lobby, no workers at the counter or in the prep area. A few mins pass by and 4-5 workers come from the back, no sense of urgency. The staff comes out loudly laughing and joking around. The gentleman in front of me ordered a smoothie and so did I. We waited for so long for one smoothie each. Customers were visibly annoyed and the staffed cared less. A few people spoke up, I didn't but I couldn't wait to get to my car and write this review. One customer had an online order and his food was waiting at the counter minus his smoothie. He mentioned his smoothie was missing and the food was getting cold. They took the sandwich back to remake as he waited for the smoothie to be made. He got the smoothie finally and had to wait even longer for the food LOL!! Talk about poor service!! I sat and watched as other customers walked in, poorly greeted by workers (no one stayed at the front counter) one person received a head nod as acknowledgement lol. I sat back as orders of food and smoothies who ordered after me got their orders before me!!! My receipt was stamped for 1:39 minutes away from 2 I was walking out with one smoothie. I like it. Picked up a southwest chicken wrap and a smoothie after driving across the state. A little pricey at $10 something, but really hard to complain because you practically get a gallon's worth of smoothie. Very satisfying on a warm day. read more

Very disappointed in this visit, we've been visiting this location for 2 years and my wife always got the kids size island green smoothie until today. Apparently new owners enforcing a new policy will not allow them to sell that any longer. Not a wise move considering there is another Tropical Smoothie on the other side of the mall (which is where we'll be going from now on). It has been one of the worst customer service I've seen. Yesterday the credit card machine was not working and I paid cash for my order but that was not the problem, first they don't let people know after the fact, also the day before and yesterday I order the same thing and they charged me more ..... Then today I went to give it another chance and as soon as I got in the two employees in the front walked to the back and completely ignored my presence and they were talking among themselves, following on the cell phone. I've always received excellent service here. I usually get the Peanut Butter Cup and Sunny Day smoothies and occasionally the Peanut Butter Banana Crunch flatbread. The flatbread is so delicious! It has bananas, honey and peanut butter heated up within the flatbread. Smoothies are excellent, can't stress that enough! read more

It helps that this location has helped out with donations or fundraisers that I've been in charge of organizing and also offer a discount if you work for Coca Cola (or used to since I haven't asked lately). I love the rewards program and the online ordering they have. The smoothie I get is one of their older ones so I have to call it in, but I don't mind. It's always made quickly and I can just walk in, pay and its ready to go. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious as well as healthy! I love that my daughter enjoys the healthy food as well. I definitely recommend this location, not only for the friendly atmosphere but for the yummy food as well! read more

Love the smoothies here! Also love that you can get boosts like protein and B12 in them. I recently tried the food for the first time. I got the thai chicken wrap. The nice lady at the counter recommended I get it spicy if I like it hot and so I did and it was delicious! I will always get it that way now! My only gripe is that they only have one size smoothie here. Smalls should be offered. Although healthier than eating junk, a full smoothie is highly caloric and honestly just too big! I have NEVER been disrespected by anyone in my entire life the way I was treated this morning! We ordered on the app for pickup when they open at 8:00am. We showed up at 8:00 and nobody was there. Took a photo of an empty building at 8:12am before driving over to Starbucks where everyone was SOOOO friendly! After we got our order we had to drive by and the "open" sign was on so I stopped and went in. The manager came up and told me he'd refund the order we already paid for and I said I'd like a free one for waiting outside for 15-minutes. He proceeded to tell me "I don't give out no free ones"! I said you opened 14-minutes late and my time is worth something. He said again "I don't give out no free ones". I asked him for his name and he said "Syrus" (I'm sure this is spelt incorrectly but when I asked him twice to spell it for me, he proceeded to tell me "I'm not spelling my name", then walked away from me to the back office)! We will NEVER go to this or any other restaurant of Tropical Smoothie again! For a manager to talk to a customer in this manner, whoever owns this franchise should absolutely be ashamed that they pay somebody like this to manage their investment for them. read more

I want to give this place a 3.5 stars - 3 stars for food and 4 stars for the smoothie. I stopped in here looking for a quick healthy meal. I really liked that they served both food items and smoothies. You can add a 24 oz smoothie to any sandwich, wrap or salad for a reduced cost. I ended up ordering a Caribbean jerk chicken bowl with a peanut paradise smoothie. The bowl was just so so. The chicken was warm but a bit chewy. It was suppose to have pineapple salsa on it but it just had a few pieces of canned pineapple on top. The other ingredients were nothing special - black beans, white rice, romaine and shredded cheese. The jerk sauce came on the side so I could choose how much to apply. It was pretty flavorful but also pretty spicy - I didn't use even half of the portion. The smoothie on the other was really tasty. It was a great consistency and a nice peanut butter flavor. It was also really filling. I will be back for smoothies for sure. read more

Hands down the worst tropical smoothie ever. No one in this place has any idea what they are doing. The past week I've been here 3 time and have had issues all week. They've messed up my bowl this week as well as my shake. Minus the fact that they do not greet you when you walk in. So today when I went in to pick up my online they told me it was not at that location and told me to be mindful of the location when placing. I WAS IN THE RIGHT LOCATION. Even showed her my order, that has the address on it and she still told me it wasn't them. Extremely rude, 90% of staff has no idea the first thing about customer service. Extremely disappointed with my visit/non visit today. I placed an order at 7:48am this morning. The app said that this particular location did not open until 8:00am and my order would not be ready until 8:15am. That was fine with me, I place my order and was going to pick my order up before work. I get to this location and the door is locked, the lights are off, and the sign on the door says they do not open until 10:00am. I checked the email I got to make sure that it was the right location and the email said 2330 w Brandon blvd at 8:15am. A hold was already placed on my account for the services that were NOT rendered and there was no way on the app to cancel my order but the call the store. As they were not open I could not do that either. After 10 I called the store and asked for a manager and I was told by Brian that there was not one on duty on Weekends. I then explained to him what had happened and requested that be refunded. He told me that i would need to come back to get my money. As I was already at work I could not go back and I am reluctant to waste even more of my time and gas to be refunded money that should never have been charged. He told me that I would have to call back on Monday to speak with a manager and I asked if there was a corporate number I could call and he told me he did not have one. Very dissatisfied with my experience today and will be disputing the charges made to my card. read more
