Oh my Gawd. I will never stop foot into this establishment again! It's been bad for a while but this was the nail in the coffin. Bright and early in the morning, I had an errand to run near by. I haven't been to this location in a while so I had hoped it changed since then. Which it did. Not for the better! There were 2 people sitting, waiting. I figured that's a good sign at that hour. I walked past them to the register and I was ignored for a good few minutes while there was arguing happening in Spanish between the only 2 workers in the place. A young disheveled girl finally comes to the counter. No good morning. No smile. Just dirty hair, huge fake eyelashes and clothing that should not be worn to work at a food establishment. She begrudgingly takes my order and walks away. I'm so mad at myself for not leaving while being ignored. I grabbed my own receipt and proceeded to wait by the counter. This is when I had a moment to look around me. The floor was sticky where I was standing. The rest of the place had garbage strewn all over the place...on tables, on the floor and overflowing out of the garbage. The chairs were not pushed in like it was first thing in the morning with no one sitting down to eat. And.....there was hair!!!!! Lots of black hair!!!!! All over the counter top!!!! Stuck in sticky, smoothie juice left behind from God knows when. She came out and put my smoothie on the counter. I tried to take pictures but I didn't want her to spit in it! Not very kind or approachable looking! There were no managers present. I had already paid so I left. I put my straw in the smoothie and it was incorrect. SHOCKER. These employees do not care about their jobs, their workplace or the orders that the customers place. They barely care about themselves by the way that they looked. Normally I'm not one to judge. People are allowed to have bad days. But this was down right negligence. Lazy. Gross. I hope Tropical Smoothie takes notice of this location and shuts them down before the department of health does. I wish I could get my money back for the smoothie that went right into the trash. Do yourself a favor and drive to another location. read more

I went to a tropical smoothie location in Centereach Mall, NY store NY-008 on 3/26/2026 and had a terrible interaction with staff member, Xena S. I ordered 2 smoothies, one was suppose to be free because I was redeeming rewards. She said the total was $21. I kindly explained to her again, that I was redeeming a free smoothing so the total should only be around $10. She walked away into the back saying to coworkers "You need to deal with this girl before I smack her in her f****** face". I politely asked for the manager and the shift lead said he would talk to her. Where I continued to hear her screening from the back of the store. The team lead did however easily fix the transaction and was very kind. If anything like this happened in my place of employment, I would be embarassed. It was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. There are multiple tropical smoothie locations in the area and I will never visit this location again. read more

Having been to many other Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations on the island I was pretty confident with what the experience would be here so I took a shot. Finding myself in the area for work much more often I can say in the last 3 weeks I've gotten meals from here about 6 times. The staff are friendly the restaurant seems clean but the inconsistency in the food is what's killing me. I get the same meal every time (creature of habit what can I say) but every single time it's like playing roulette. First wrap I got was great, next was full of avocado to where there was no taste to anything else, next was pretty much a lettuce wrap there was almost nothing else in it, most recently it was a baby sized wrap (at full price) we were actually laughing at how small it was when we got home. The smoothies are always pretty consistent which is nice. But the food is really frustrating. That's the only problem I have with this location. There seems to be zero regime or training on the quality control with food. Most likely will give them a few more chances before I write this location off for good but more annoying than anything else. read more

The person at the counter was very nice and friendly and the smoothie was good but I gave it one star because the place was so dirty. There were 4 people and no one but me ordering. There was food on the floors and the rug was disgustingly dirty. If the front ,where people can see, is that bad I can't imagine what the back looks like. Look, it's a chain. The food was exactly as expected. I'm reviewing it at three stars because the service was terrible. The young woman working the register refused to crack a smile, though we were trying to joke and be pleasant. Worse yet, she wasn't at all being helpful when we indicated we couldn't find what we were looking for on the menu, or had questions about food items. She basically had the personality of a tree stump. I know it's harsh, but I expect a little more than I can get from an ATM machine when I go to a restaurant, even if it is just fast food. I've been going to this place since I found out it existed and I love the customer service. The staff is always friendly and anytime I have an issue with my smoothie or my wrap they are more than willing to help and redo. Sometimes it's inconsistent but it depends on the person making it, everyone does things differently, but they are never rude and always try to fix any issues. read more

I LOVE the Blueberry Bliss smoothie. Love it. But this place is horrible on so many levels. I order through Ubereats regularly. For every three orders, two are wrong. It's not hard. I get a smoothie and a breakfast wrap no egg. I don't think I've received it the same way twice. Mounds of cheese no bacon. No cheese no bacon. Mozzarella no cheddar. Not melted. Burnt. Went to the store to see if the experience would be different. Filthy dirty store. Really bad. Tried to call to say something, just thought someone would want to know. Phone # goes to VM in the middle of the day. Finally got through the next day. Manager wasn't in yet. No call back. I feel terrible but this biz is really hurting itself. Very sad. Disappointed today in our lunch, I ordered it at 2:47 for 3:15 pick up 2 wraps , a flatbread and smoothies. Got there early and picked up at 3:10 food was cold, restaurant was very cold inside too. They obviously made food early then why not keep sandwiches warm? 2 Buffalo wraps overloaded with lettuce as well. My sons smoothie tasted watered down I don't know if that's from it sitting in fridge for 20 minutes because it was prepared early. Forgot to put sauce in my flatbread so it was dry and had no flavor. Also gave me a little side cup of kale slaw with it- when at every other location I've been to they give you a large container. Really ridiculous honestly. I've ordered more than once through UberEats and no matter how many times I write on the order for specific things to be added or removed, they aren't. Do you guys read any orders you get?
