    Acai bowl
    Chantal C.

If you want an easy of blended frozen fruit topped with more fruit in a bowl...this chain is an option. . Was craving a quick and refreshing snack right after a sunny afternoon hike but just before yoga, so opted for an acai bowl. I expected the typical frozen acai blend - unpopular opinion, I like it bc it doesn't melt as fast - but what I did NOT expect was the granola to be blocks of nature valley bars. Ruined my "healthy snack attempt" as the added sugar from the granola bars was unwanted. . Besides that service was fast, practical, and the shop was clean.

Wraps come with choice of chips, banana or apple.

We had Claudia for our waitress and she was awesome! We were her only table at 2:45pm on a Tuesday and she treated us like friends. This was our first time at this location and we will definitely be back. The decor was very uptown professional meets industrial. High open ceilings with sleek black walls and marble looking tables. Very fun big bar as well. We got everything she recommended and it was so good! We got the Eggstravaganza (Brioche French Toast with two eggs, choice of meat and potatoes) and the Flatbread Sourdough Pizza with Pepperoni, grilled onions and peppers, and extra cheese. For drinks we got the seasonal Pistachio Latte and the Tropical Teaser smoothie that was a refreshing fresh fruit smoothie with mango, banana, pineapple and strawberries. When I say we enjoyed the food, I mean we couldn't stop talking about it. We are so happy we got Claudia for our waitress and will absolutely be coming back for more!

Almost 10 minutes went by without anyone coming to take our order, so we decided to sit at the bar instead. The bartender gave us menus but never came back to take our order either. Meanwhile, the waitstaff and host seemed more interested in huddling together and having conversations than serving the few customers in the restaurant. At 1:56 p.m., we left without ever ordering or getting any food. I understand being short-staffed, but this was simply poor service.

Tonight we tried their dinner menu and we had 4 different sandwiches. We had the meatball sub, chicken parmesan, caparese and the southern chicken sandwich. All of it was delicious. We also took home a chocolate and strawberry milkshake which was to die for. When we are here we are always well taken care of. This place is truly special and amazing. Their seating is comfortable and welcoming too.

Unfortunately, when I received my food and took a bite, a hot, completely runny egg came oozing out of the sandwich and all over me, completely ruining my shirt and pants. I was understandably upset. What made the situation even worse was that multiple waitresses watched it happen and continued working without offering me a napkin, towel, or anything to help clean myself up. I was literally standing there with egg yolk running down my shirt and pants because my order was prepared incorrectly. Eventually, my husband and I had to flag someone down--we weren't even sure if he was a server or the manager. He came over and said he would comp the meal. I explained that we were there for a soccer tournament and that I would now have to go out and purchase an entirely new outfit for the rest of the day because of their mistake. We then sat there for 20 minutes, watching employees walk past us repeatedly without checking on us. I finally went to the register and expressed how upset I was. The gentleman there said he would charge us for my husband's and son's meals and comp mine. Of course, my meal was being comped--it was sent back because it was prepared incorrectly in the first place. We then waited another 20 minutes without a bill. Again, employees continued walking past us and completely ignored us. This restaurant is tiny--practically the size of a closet--so I honestly don't understand how we could be overlooked for that long. At that point, I told my husband, "Let's just get up and leave. I guarantee THAT will get someone's attention." Sure enough, the second we walked out the door, the big guy came running after us, yelling at my husband and me. I explained how long we had been sitting there, how rude and dismissive the service was, and how much of our time had been wasted. Apparently, walking out the door was the only way to finally get someone's attention. Mistakes happen. Eggs can be cooked incorrectly. What matters is how you treat your customers when something goes wrong. In this case, the customer service was absolutely unacceptable from start to finish. We are in town for a soccer tournament and had better things to do than spend nearly an hour sitting around being ignored after having our clothing ruined by an improperly prepared meal. Spare yourself the trip. The customer service here was HORRIBLE. BTW my outfit cost more than a comped meal!!!! And a hour of wasted time waiting for our bill!!! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE ZERO STARS if that were an option.

It's a smallish space and indoor seating was really full at 11 AM on a weekday. Because of rain, the outdoor benches were not in use, and I saw closed-up patio-umbrellas too. I ordered from a kiosk or you could order online or in person. I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was made quickly by welcoming staff. It was a regular size croissant with very light cheese and a layer of crispy bacon pieces in a well toasted croissant. The flavor was good. This café also sells a number of beverages, including fresh ground espresso, and various teas And they sell some bakery goods, candies, and quite a variety of dry-packaged teas and coffee. The parking right in front Café Jun can get pretty full, but there's plenty parking in the rest of the shopping center. You can enter the shopping area from eastbound US-40 Baltimore National Pike, or from westbound Frederick Road. It's just east of Centennial Lane/Bethany Lane and about a mile West of US 29. The larger shopping area has a diner 3-strip mall sections, one of which is called Princess Shopping Center, so I'm a little confused which mall-name covers which shops. They have a summer concert planned! That should be fun!

People do seem to respect the 90MIN seating window though so you should be able to find a seat. You order and pay at the counter first and then they give you a table number card. This is how they find you to serve your food. I ordered a regular matcha latte, a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on croissant bread and their famous croffle. I loved their matcha latte. It's pre-sweetened so no need to add extra vanilla syrup or anything. This does not taste like a traditional matcha, which in my opinion tastes like dirt. This is a sweeter, dessert like matcha. I didn't care for the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It was kind of dry and it tasted like something was missing. The croffle was amazing. It has a nutty, pecan like taste to it and it was topped with vanilla gelato and blueberries. I couldn't really taste the maple syrup but it was delicious nonetheless.
