After getting back into town after a nightmarish twice-delayed flight from LaGuardia, I was absolutely starving and nothing sounded appealing to me except Tropical Smoothie. I knew it was all I wanted, and it would fix me. I originally drove to the Whitesburg location, but after sitting in line for 30 mins (this unfortunately isn't an exaggeration of time because my mind was clouded with hunger, it truly was from 12:59pm-1:29pm before I finally gave up and had to drive off. I was just too hungry- I'm sorry!) Drove straight to the Cecil Ashburn Dr location. I was determined to have my Tropical Smoothie fix. I was greeted promptly and politely, and placed my order. I was able to pay and receive my food very quickly by courteous staff. I ordered a green island detox and a chicken quesadilla. The food was piping hot- just the way I like it (I mean, who doesn't?) and my smoothie was delicious. After a long day of travel, this was just the thing I needed to feel better. I really appreciated the quick service. Apologies for ragging on Whitesburg a little, I'm sure they were super busy. I do understand understaff issues and surge times, I just had to make the call at the 30-min mark. read more

Awful, again. As always. Waited in drive through for 15 minutes and the line never moved so went inside and waited. They had 2 employees inside, no customers inside, and 2 cars in the drive through. It still took them 10 minutes just to take my order. Then we sat and waited for another 10 minutes for smoothies and another 15 after that for the food, and wouldn't you guess, the food is wrong again. 45 minutes invested waiting for 2 smoothies and 2 wraps. Smoothies came out chunky and food came out wrong. The lack of professionalism, service, and punctuality absolutely blows my mind. Figured I would give it a year and try again. I did that and you best believe they keep living up to that 1 star review average! As I sit here typing this my girlfriend just pulled a whole banana out of her smoothie. Absolutely positively DO NOT go to this location, unless you would like to get sick. I usually am not too harsh on reviews but what I received today is despicable. I ordered a wrap and a smoothie and was enjoying both until I got to the bottom of my wrap to see spoiled lettuce. I'm sure the people who work here do not care but eating lettuce and leafy greens like this can cause food borne illnesses. It's disgusting and the fact that my smoothie has greens in it as well, I'm pretty sure that's spoiled too, it's just hard to tell with the cup of sugar that masks the taste. I've wanted to like this place for so long now, but for nearly two years now, I've come to this specific location about 4-5 different times. Each time, I would wait for my smoothie for almost 15 minutes just to either end up with the wrong smoothie, or be asked numerous times which smoothie I ordered and have to wait again for them to remake it. I came to this TS because the one on Whitesburg has gone downhill in my opinion. I came in for lunch on a Friday and these two were the only 2 working drive-thru, phone orders, and walk-ins on Friday at lunch. The wait was ok but now I understand why the long wait at this location. It have only 2 people working then you will wait. Let me tell you these 2 employees were friendly, they communicated well with each other and the place was clean! The food and smoothie was very tasty and I will be back at this location. To the owner and/or manager these 2 deserve to be time off, pay raise, promotion something. They were professional the whole time even with the lack of staff during this rush time. read more

I used to come here multiple times a week but I stopped after the last 2 times my quesadilla wasn't even cooked, the cheese was not melted and the chicken was ice cold. My smoothie was also watered down and flavorless. I've been going to the one on whitesburg since and have not had any issues. read more

This place is an awful place to work at and an awful place overall. the new owners don't know what they're doing they keep this place constantly understaffed where the workers are drowning in online, grub hub, uber eats orders and on top of that the drive through and the lobby while expecting two people (9 time out of 10 underage people) to run the store completely by themselves i worked there for two months and had to work over 5 shifts completely by myself. they have horrible old equipment that doesn't always cook the food correctly and sometimes burns or undercooks things. they don't care about their employees or customers all this new owner cares about is making sure every employee now shoves the card reader out the window to make sure someone leaves a tip at both registers. Nick is a cheapskate and wants to cut corners anywhere he can and make as much money as he can and cares about nothing but sales and making sure labor isn't high. read more

Waited in the drive thru with no response, drove around to the window where the 1 rude employee never acknowledged me. I saw her several times I called on the phone which she never answered so I hung up. The lights were dim and it almost looked like they were closed but the sign said 8 pm on a Sunday and it was 6 pm. I arrived and they didn't know I had done an online order. Waited for a not so great smoothie. However - the main thing that really turned me off was when the worker (who was making my smoothie) sneezed twice into her bare hand and then proceeded to continue making my smoothie. Although the smoothies here are tasty, the wait is ridiculous. I have, on more then one occasion, left without my food after waiting in line for 20+ minutes in my car. Both us and the car in front of us left without our food after we hadn't moved for 20 mins. It's not worth the wait. read more

I've been to this location 3 times, and each time the service was horrible. This last time, my 5 year old really wanted a smoothie. We walked in before closing and were told they would not make him a smoothie because they were closed. The door was unlocked, it was before 8 pm and the sign said open. read more
