I visited Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Las Vegas, NV [7291 S Eastern Ave] on Tuesday, 03/24/26, around 7 PM. Upon entering the location, the interior looked a little run-down. The majority of the chairs seemed worn out and the flooring was dated. The space was not as inviting as anticipated, and could use some refreshing for a more appealing appearance. In terms of the food, I ordered two of the Chicken Bacon Ranch flatbreads, with a side of chips and a side of the Jalapeño Corn. The food was also prepared in an underwhelming manner. While the food was adequate, I've had much better preparations of the flatbreads and Jalapeño Corn at other Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations. In terms of the quality, it just seemed a bit off. The customer service was satisfactory. It was standard and straightforward with no other type of engagement. Overall, this particular location needs a little more love with the interior and a slight improvement with the preparation of the food. read more

Stopped by and ordered a Beach Bum smoothie with white chocolate -- and it was so good. Perfectly blended, sweet but not overpowering, and exactly what I needed. What really made the visit stand out, though, was Cinnamon. Her customer service was beautiful -- she was warm, friendly, and just had such a positive energy. You can tell she genuinely cares about the people she's serving, and that kind of experience is rare these days. She made my smoothie just right, and I truly appreciated the interaction. Stopped by Tropical Smoothie Cafe to try the new Cherry Berry Protein smoothie, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was really good--not too sweet and not too bland, just a nice balanced flavor. The ambiance was relaxed. It wasn't very busy when we went, which made it feel calm, but the cafe itself is on the smaller side and doesn't have a lot of tables. The service was definitely the highlight. The employee helping us was super friendly and gave us their honest opinion when we were deciding between the Cherry Berry Protein and the Strawberry Blush, which I really appreciated. read more

Negative Stars Today 6-22-26 at 3:30pm I went in for a smoothie. I should've went with my gut feeling based off how filthy it looks and the horrid old mop smell. I ordered my smoothie, the female there was nice. But the Hispanic male that's apart of the LBGT community I think named " Kelsey" (no name tag) was literally making smoothies AND DRINKING DIRECTLY OUT OF THE BLINDER, finishing the leftovers from the drink he just made.... in broad day light.. facing us so we all can see... Food & smoothies are usually good......However I've had many poor experiences with the service. It's like every staff member you interact with acts like they would rather be doing absolutely anything other than serving the customer. I've always been super polite, but I've experienced countless eye rolls and sighs after making an order. Which is usually a pretty simple & small order. There have been a few good employees over the years, but they NEVER stay long. The sandwich store around the corner of the building has the EXACT same issues. So in conclusion? Tropical Smoothie NEEDS to raise their pay, higher quality people and have the huevos to ask their shareholders to take a short term hit, for greater profits in the future. Fast and efficient service, there usually aren't many people inside at any time that I drop in. Ambiance is inviting and the lights are usually dim. I usually get the green detox smoothie which has no added sugars. I have yet to try their food, but it all looks delicious and healthy. I will try the food on the next run. read more

This location does not have enough workers. I was a 1/2 hour late from lunch waiting for my order. I ordered a wrap and smoothie. I had to leave before I received my smoothie and the wrap that I got wasn't even mine but I was already at work. I am never coming here again. This place is so disrespectful and will not give you the right order even if you go in twice. I had ordered two açai bowls for me and my sister. I went in and I got my two bowls which was a 20 minute wait even after it said it was ready, and was so excited to dig into my bowl. Only to find out it had somebody else's name on it and was the wrong order. I wanted a chocolate, banana, strawberry and Chia seeds with the popping pearl bowl, and instead got a coconut blueberry no Chia seeds honey drizzle bowl. There was no popping pearls and they totally gave me the wrong order. I went back inside, hoping that they would be nice and accept that they messed up, only to get a front row seat to an argument match by the two people working there, when I was finally acknowledged, I was told that I was the one that messed up and that I ordered the wrong bowl and that they would remake me the bowl, but I had to keep the bowl that I didn't want. I was served by a very disrespectful person who obviously couldn't even understand their own menu, and who blamed their mistake on the customer if they messed up. I ordered a smoothie online. Was supposed to be ready before 2pm. I waited over 10 minutes in the store. Was NEVER acknowledged. Finally nearly 15 minutes after my smoothie was supposed to be ready, I had to get the guy's attention, tell film not to make my smoothie because I had go to work. All he said was "I'm sorry" and didn't even look at me. Came down to Vegas for the Super Bowl. Rolled into Tropical Smoothie around 1030 and the place was empty. In and out, with two Peanut Butter Cup smoothies in less than 8 minutes. The PB cup smoothie is large and tasty. I see alot of poor reviews for this business. My experience was great, I think some of you one star yelpers need to relax and be patient, when you walk into any business when populated you, unfortunately, might have to wait to get your order. I placed a mobile order for a breakfast sandwich about 10 minutes before I got to the store. When I arrived, no one was at the counter, but there was a boy and a girl in the back. The boy came out after a couple minutes and I asked about my order. He told me they 'were making it right now' and then the girl went over and started on it. It took several minutes to make because they kept flirting and playing around with each other. I finally got my food and went outside. When I opened my sandwich, it was overcooked, had no avocado, a really small portion of eggs and way too much sauce. I went back in and asked for a new one. It was only then that I was told they were out of avocado and low on eggs. So I asked for a refund instead, which also took a few minutes because neither kid knew how to do it. read more

We've been going to tropical smoothie since it opened. My husband orders the same flavor (and the only one he ever orders) every time. Even when they took it off the menu he ordered a different version, but substituted orange juice for water. We've never had a problem. Again, we've done this for years. Today I pulled up to the drive- through and ordered, just like always. She irritably replied, "I can't hear you." No apology, no request to repeat what I said. So I lean out of my car and yelled into the order box. She replied, "We can't do that." I was surprised. I asked since when and explained we've been ordering it for years. She repeated they can't do it. I asked to speak to a manager and she replied as if I had asked for a drink. I repeated my request, yelling even louder so she could hear me. She said she was the manager. Then told me to pull up to the window. When my turn arrived she said that substituting orange juice for water was too expensive and I'd have to be charged per scoop. (Scoop?) I asked how much. She acted like I asked her to calculate quantum physics. 5 minutes later she said it would be an extra $4! SERIOUSLY?! That's 50% more of the entire cost! I could buy 2 gallons for that much! Anyway, I told her to go ahead, but that I wouldn't be coming back to that store. She flippant replied, "That's fine." I was incredulous! On 11/2021, There was an open corona beer can next to the register. I had to say something to the employee to get them to handle it. Also, took to long (10+) minutes to get one smoothie and there was only two other customers and three employees, two just standing around. We all looked at each other like it was a joke. Idk who owns this place now but they really don't do a good job and management. The old owners (Olga and Dan) were much better at keeping this place up to standards. 9/4/22 - only came here again because my niece wanted a smoothie. Place smelled like weed, Employees cursing, playing loud rap music, they sounded like the customers were inconveniencing them. This place used to have some decent friendly staff with quality food. this tropical smoothie @ 7291 S. Eastern Ave. needs to have the board of health come to inspect the premises, the staff & how they prepare food & drinks, the utensils used, the whole work up. This will HELP ensure what happened to me when I ordered from this location via DoorDash on August 18 @ 9am doesn't happen to anyone else ever again. About 5 minutes after my delivery was made, I ate my chicken pesto sandwich & drank my sunrise sunset smoothie. Within 40 minutes I started to not feel well. I developed a headache & I felt nauseous. I thought it was my morning medicine so I took a nausea pill and kept on going about my day. The headache never subsided & the nauseating feeling did not dissipate. I could barely handle the headache anymore so I stopped at a gas station & bought a pack of Tylenol. That helped after 30 minutes or so. However the nausea never subsided. I took another nausea pill when I got back home. Needless to say it didn't help much and I found myself in agony the next morning so I went into the hospital. I gave a full rundown of everything that happened in the last 24 hours and after running tests it was determined I have FOOD POISONING It's horrible. I've never had food poisoning before but this crap is horrible. I pray whoever makes the food and drinks there clean themselves properly and clean the place up as well & cook the food properly so this never happens again to anyone else. read more

At the moment tropical smoothie is open for takeout! They're doing their part practicing social distancing so you must give them a call beforehand and they'll bring your smoothies outside once they're ready! I'd even recommend giving them a call before you head over because sometimes they have a lot of orders backed up and they can give you an estimate of when your order will be ready. Thought we would try something new for a change. They recently remodled this location. Our shakes were good. Took a little bit to get and they really didn't have customer service. My wife had questions that were answered with a nonchalant attitude of "your wasting my time". The salads we ordered and shakes were good, but I just couldn't get over the attitude. They have business because they are Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and many of us have had good experiences in other locations. Shame on them for not living up to a name, building on a good reputation. This location has multiple issues and I definitely will not be back. First is the slow service. We placed an order for pickup 20 mins before we arrived. Once we got to the location, we went inside and had to wait another 10 mins before even getting acknowledged then another 25 mins before our drinks were done. There was only 1 other customer in the store and 4 staff members working. Not sure why it took so long. My second issue was that one of the staff members who happen to be making my drinks was not wearing a face mask or gloves. My third complaint is the establishment was disgusting.
