I've been here many times and today was my first bad experience here. I ordered a smoothie and a wrap. The girl who took my order made the wrap, someone else made the smoothie. The smoothie awesome. The girl who took my order and made the wrap, worst wrap I've ever had. The wrap was the sloppiest I've ever had and tasted nothing like the last time I ordered it. I'm not sure what was going on with this girl, but I'll never let her make me food again. Her personality came off as like she really didn't want to be there and by the looks and taste of Thai wrap, she should not be there. I may return to this location as it's close to my house and like I said I've never had a complaint until today. Someone needs to have a chat with this girl and show her how to properly make a wrap and have it look like it should not some slop thrown together and wrapped. Every time I come here, there seems to be ongoong issues. I ordered for pickup at 540p for pickup @ 610p and picked up around 620p. The food was not made because they "didn't have plant based chicken" to make the wrap. Now, keep in mind, I give them all my contact information when ordering and its even printed on the receipt. No one can pick up the phone to call? The employee said oh, we cant update it online. Ummm... but you cant tell the customer? I paid extra for plant based protein as well. As we were going to an event I said just make it without the protein. Then I had to wait extra for them to make it. This place is overpriced for what it is, the service is horrible and the smoothies tasted disgusting. Ive had bad experiences at multiple TSC around the valley and this one used to be decent. Today was the first time I've ever had a bad experience at this location--so much so that I felt compelled to leave a review. I ordered three smoothies through the drive-thru, but unfortunately didn't get a chance to try them until I got near my home. All three were terrible--completely unsweetened, the fruit tasted under-ripe, and overall, the drinks were just not enjoyable. It felt like a complete waste of money. It's off of the 95/Durango located in a shopping plaza shared with other businesses such as Mcdonalds. There is plenty of parking available. Inside the Tropical Smoothie Cafe, there was spacious tables, spotless and cleaned. The team welcomed you with a "hello!" After reviewing the menu, I had ordered a large peanut paradise. It was approximately $7.00 with tip included. The wait wasn't too long, about 10 minutes inside the restaurant. The drive-thru was relatively busy though! The line wrapped around the restaurant! Very poor quality control So my wife went to tropical smoothie today to get her favorite drink, watermelon mojio, after she left to take the kids to school she drank some and almost choked on a piece of plastic, after looming into the drink sh saw wrappers blended into it, she called right away and talked to a manager. He said that he didn't see any pieces in the mojio mix and we would have to bring the drink in, they gave me a refund but it's not about the money, my kids could of been drinking it and got something stuck in their throats. I have nothing against teenagers working trying to earn a living but the quality control needs to be a #1 priority which it doesn't seem like it is here. Definitely a 1 star establishment! read more

I've been coming here for about 5 years now I've seen everything get progressively worse from staff, prices and quality. Just stopped by again today and not only are the prices insanely inflated ($20 for 2 drinks) but they got worse with soliciting tips... now they straight up ask you if you want to tip and make you feel uncomfortable for not tipping them to do their job. Couldn't even enjoy my smoothie without thinking they did something to it cause that's just the teenager mentality now days and this location is full of them. Came back to this location quite a few times after my previous review, as you can see from my check ins and they've stepped it up just a TAD bit, or maybe because I've come earlier in the morning, but unfortunately today, I experienced ANOTHER long wait time and even given the wrong order! Upon pulling up to the drive thru, there was a truck ahead of me with a customer ordering and 2 more cars ahead waiting on their order. It took 5 minutes to pull up and order, not because the guy ahead of me took long, but because he couldn't move up far enough because the other customers were still waiting. 20 minutes later, I pull up to the window to pay and I'm handed a bag, with one of two orders and drink and was told that my other order is coming right up. Another 5 minutes pass and the lady asks if she already handed me a sandwich and I said yes. Turns out that I was handed the wrong one and she gave me a different bag with the correct order as I gave her back the other! Great Covid procedure! Granted, all I did was place the bag on the passenger seat and I'm not sick or anything, but still. I feel bad for the person who the order actually belongs to. What if it was given over to a sick person,other than me, and then given to the correct customer? Also, knowing that there's a long line, an associate takes a break in front of the store by the entrance! What kind of service and management do you guys practice here?! NONE! So yeah! Thanks for replying to my previous review, but obviously nothing has changed since! Management should definitely not allow break time when it's obviously busy or at least make sure the shift is covered while there's a bunch of customers waiting in line, before allowing one to take a break. Terrible service. It's a bunch of teenagers running this location. The supervisor is worthless and should be fired. Their stupid app got revamped. If you have an existing account in the older version of the app, those points and rewards won't transfer to the new app. You have to set up an account again. Supervisor told me he just worked there and it's not his problem. Since it's not his problem, how about the owner or district manager promote the supervisor to customer. Smoothies are NEVER made properly. If the staff needs to be trained, then let the district or regional manager train the staff. People work too hard for their money to be treated this way. I do NOT recommend this or any Tropical Smoothie in the area. Purchased three smoothies today and the dumb ass that made the smoothies made them wrong. I want a refund. The kids working ran to the back after my order because they knew they messed up. And when I called back to ask what his name was they gave me attitude on the phone saying there wasn't anything they could do about it and laughed. Said his name was Mark which I don't believe. He had forgotten to hand us a smoothie so when I told him we were missing something he said "what is it" very rudely. This location needs to more respectful workers. My family used the drive through for our order. We each ordered the banana smoothie with the option of PB or strawberry. My SO got the PB, his daughter ordered the strawberry, and I ordered strawberry but added PB and spinach powder. Each of our smoothies tasted like a diluted slushie. All three majorly lacked flavor, which is especially crazy for the ones w/PB. My SO disliked his so much, he had them remake it. I should have done the same bc his 2nd one had a stronger PB flavor than before....still very watered done. We also ordered the southwest chicken wrap and and egg wrap. Waaay too much buffalo sauce on the wrap today, like soaked through the tortilla and dripping out, was quite a mess and not good, like I would imagine it tastes to drink straight buffalo sauce. Almost always too much or not enough pesto on the flatbread, skimping on meats, and overall just wildly inconsistent and generally bad food assembly quality - clear lack of applied common sense or gaf in this regard at this location. After a while, I try again and/or forget how bad it is, go back, and it's the same bs. It's disappointing because i know the potential when it's done right. Please get it together. Also, staff should NOT be asking "10 or 15% tip?" at the drive thru window. Either hand me a card reader so i can do it, or let me add it to the receipt, but don't outright ask "10 or 15% tip?" wth is that?
