This tropical smoothie is by far the worst one I have ever been to in my entire life. EVERY SINGLE TIME I order an açaí bowl from here, the fruit on top is QUITE LITERALLY ROTTING. There's no way this place is allowed to stay open, I'll probably just report them to the health department since this remains a consistent issue. The fact that these people have the audacity and lack of common sense to actively put rotting food in an order. Like y'all are really okay with that???? It's my fault for going back again and again hoping it would get better. BE CAREFUL AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!! If this is the fruit that's acting as toppings for the bowls, I can't imagine what the fruit going into the smoothies looks like. They also give you HARDLY ANY of the actual açaí base. Remember to change location as your next ones will be at the same place and once you order you cant get it cancelled and refunded so ended up for a number of days losing money. My drink order was good but they didn't have my chips so wish their website had noted. Small and pick-up isn't outside the counter so you have to ask and they bring it out. today 9/21 i pocked up a smoothie for my daughter who is sick. She placed her mobile order. She always orders the same smoothie due to a nut allergy. Guess what half way thru her smoothie she found a lump of peanut butter!!!!! WT...... She had to take 2 benadryl and hope we dint need her epy pen today!! I walked in to order a smoothie at 9:45am today for a lady working in the kitchen to come out front and say "Sorry, our cashier isn't here yet I cannot ring you in. Did you place an order online?" I said "No, you can't just ring me in for a smoothie?" She said "No, I can only make orders..." Me clearly glancing over at the to go orders are ready for pick up. I was clearly very annoyed considering they've been open since 7am... I love this place because they got good food and managed to make me like their pineapple in the burrito thing. I like the staff because they work fast and I know the names of a couple of the people that work here. The online app makes it so that you don't have to wait for food but even if you don't use the app it's a short wait. Do not sleep on this place they have something for everyone. The meal I get is the Caribbean jerk chicken burrito with the peanut butter smoothie and SunChips and I get that regularly because of how great it is. I love the amount of spices they use and I always leave at least a one dollar tip whenever I go here. This is a must go destination if you want good healthy fast food. read more

HORRIBLE! I ran over to this store with biggest urge and craving for an Island Green smoothie as I am 6 months pregnant. I had 10 minuets to spare before closing at 6pm. When I arrive the store lights were turned off with the door open. As soon as I walk in a team of young ladies yell "we are closed". As I'm walking out another lady with her family had made it before I did complaining that they were told it was closed too. Horrible rating - mainly due to the staff present tonight. My family and 4 other customers arrived between 5:50-5:55pm before the 6:00pm closing and we were all told "we are closed" in an obnoxious manner by the young ladies on staff. One told us they can't make food but can do smoothies then 2 seconds later the other girl comes around and just says "no we're closed." Let's just say I was a regular- bought a smoothie at least 3x a week. They stopped making my favorite smoothie (even though the other locations still offer it) often messed up my order, but I was always patient and they always fixed it- however today I am absolutely disgusted. After starting to drink my smoothie I noticed some chewy bits that normally aren't there and started to pull foil wrapper bits out of my mouth. Upon inspection in the smoothie they were all throughout and were very easy to spot. It must have been a pretty large piece of wrapper blended in. How do you manage to mess up my order EVERY time? We used to go here pretty often, but that's about to end. Store manager and owner REFUSED to remedy my lost 550 rewards points and honor my redemption for my free smoothie that I had EARNED. The app deducted the points as if it used the reward, but the order didn't go through. Why should I be at a loss here because you have a faulty app?? Located in the Giant shopping strip in Leesburg (one off on Market St.), is Tropical Smoothie. It's actually located right next to Tenderjacks. I have now been to this location 2 times. Both time have been pleasant . The employees are friendly, and I have had no issues with language barriers with them. The two times I've been here I've had the Sesame Chicken wrap and the Thai Chicken wrap. Both of these tasted pretty good. It didn't wow me or anything, but they were still decent. The sweet sesame sauce in the sesame chicken was good, I liked the crunch of the wontons. The peanut dressing in the Thai wrap could have been a little stronger, but sill not too bad. The smoothie's are good as well. I don't know what I had because my wife ordered them both times. All I can tell you is one was orange and the other was red =), not very helpful, but oh well. The only downsize I would say is the size of the wraps. Both times, I left hungry, even with the chips or fruit, I still felt I could have eaten a 2nd one. I ordered a Thai chicken wrap. The flavor was fresh and savory but they were very skimpy on the chicken (it was 75% lettuce) and the wrap was not wrapped tightly so it fell apart on the first bite. Came here looking for a healthy juice place to partake in after the massive holiday food fest. The place is calm, quiet and low-key. The cashier was eager and ready to help us out. The tables were clean and their covers looked colorful- overall a nice place for us to take a break and chill with family. The smoothie itself was somewhat of a disappointment - it's unclear if our smoothie is made of real juice or syrup. It's looks more of a manufactured beverage than a real, healthy tonic. If you like Jamba Juice, then you'll like this place, it's just not really a low-cal juice. The prices are also along the same lines as Jamba Juice - about $5 for 25 oz. It's a little pricey in my opinion, but hey you get what you pay for. My juice - island Green- was also ok tasting - nothing to rave about, but I also asked for it to have Splenda and not natural sugar. The smoothie I'll give 5 stars (because let's face it...they are awesome), the service however, was terrible and gets 1 star. I walked in just before 5 and there are only 2 other customers who have already been helped (sitting at a table). The cashier looked like she didn't want to be there and her attitude reflected it. The only words she spoke was for the total I needed to pay, and even then barely audible. As soon as I signed for my drink, she quickly scooped up the signed slip and proceeded to sit in a chair in the back (viewable to any guest walking in) and pull out her phone. Not a hello, smile, or a thank you for coming in from this employee. The lady who made my drink was friendlier than her coworker! While I was waiting for my drink, I noticed the floor was covered in trash and the trash can itself was starting to overflow with napkins and things. Needless to say, I don't think I'll be back to this location. I'll sacrifice a bit of a drive to get better service, and a cleaner more inviting welcome when I (or any customer) walks in. read more

Very shady owners/managers- when paying by card, watch how the cashier will hit the buttons on the machine for you very fast- if you don't catch it- you'll be automatically giving a 15% tip "to the house". You have to scroll down to give a custom tip, 20% or none. But if you let him /her quickly hit the button for you- on the machine in front of YOU- and they don't give you a chance to read it because they know- you will automatically pay a 15% tip. I'm just going to echo some past reviews here but I was really shocked when I walked in here. It was Sunday at 7:40-7:43 pm and they close at 8 pm. I usually wouldn't try to order food when a store is closing in sub 20 mins, and tonight was no exception, I was going to grab a smoothie & be on my way. When my boyfriend and I walked in the lights were off in the front, the chairs put up but there were 2 other people inside. The employees working all saw us walk in but no one said "we're closing" or even acknowledged us so we continued to the register to look at the menu. Finally one of the girls brought another customer his smoothie & proceeded to walk right back, past us and into the kitchen. My boyfriend politely tried to tell her we were ready to order and she continued on like we weren't there. The customer who had just gotten his drinks told us they did the same thing to him. Well she obviously heard him say that because she yelled at him from kitchen to go to his car. I wanted to walk out but then another girl came and took our order, she was sweet but seemed frazzled, I would too if my coworkers were acting like they weren't being paid to be there. I've worked in fast food/serving so I get that it's not fun and you're severely underpaid ... but to act like that towards a customer for no reason and to put the burden on another coworker is really messed up.
