I went in about 4:30 on a weekday to tried one of their" Summer Mocktail s". There were only two other people in the place waiting for their orders . The place was quiet , nice and clean .I was undecided on which Mock tail to get so I got the girl who took my order to surprise me . To my surprise the girl ordered me an Strawberry margarita. I didn't know what to expect but this taste actually good . I will Be coming back to try the other two they had on the menu.

I can NOT wait to dig in. Okay, I've taken some bites and I am VERY happy. I ordered the food delivery and they were super timely. As you may see in the picture, the bowl came with its ingredients divided so that it looks cute. Oh, and did you notice the straw is edible? So cool and good for the earth. Plus you can taste the sweet lime flavor of the straw when you take sips of your smoothie. All around a great experience.

Buffalo Chicken Wrap with old lettuce, hard chicken, and not wrapped. Very disappointed. Buffalo Chicken "Wrap"

Usually they are good if you go in and order. However, on 9/3/2020, I ordered through the Uber Eats App and the wrap was stale and old. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. It was far from being wrapped paper included and was falling apart. There was old lettuce in it with dried out chicken. Yuck!

My "smoothie" more like a slushy with absolutely no flavor!

Probably the worst Tropical Smoothie I've been to. I go to the one in Gainesville and Fairfax and never have issues. This place flat out sucks! Not sure if the kids behind the counter need additional training on making a smoothie & customer service! Every time I've been to this TS the staff acts and looks irritated to have more customers to serve. Once i was told the kitchen was closed even though they weren't closing the place for over an hour. Today was just as bad and I'm kicking myself in the rear for even stopping by. Wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but shame on me today. Will not be back!

Kiwi Quencher; it has kiwi, strawberries, and non-fat yogurt.

So I love Tropical Smoothie. I love the fact you can add stuff to their specialty smoothies. When I went recently I got the watermelon mojito and a turkey bacon sandwich. My mother also got a smoothie, and a sandwich. She got the caesar chicken sandwich but when we got home her sandwich was something totally different. The lady at Tropical Smoothie made the wrong sandwich, the only thing she got right was that my mom wanted ranch dressing instead of caesar dressing. So we were very disappointed and it was too late to turn back to get the right sandwich.

Great smoothies. Fake chicken for us veggie lovers too in any of their sandwiches. Get Splenda in your smoothie to save on calories.

I will never go to this place again. Bunch of high schoolers work there and don't care for customers. Bad service and the place was dirty.

This spot is super kid-friendly, baby-friendly, and mom-friendly - not to mention community oriented. How much better can it get for a mom of a young toddler?! They have a kids play area, high chairs galore, diapers in the bathroom, super cute merchandise for sale, and of course delicious coffee and food! They host multiple events throughout the month for community members to participate. It's a feel-good spot all around. During our visit we enjoyed lattes, egg bites, and a strawberry Danish. My toddler liked the food and didn't want to leave the play area when it was time to go. Highly recommend a visit!

I just didn't feel inclined to go in. A coffee buddy said she wanted to take me to a coffee shop she really liked and it turned out to be Vita Nova Creations & Coffee Company. Now I am kicking myself because I it took me so long to enjoy a cortado from here. The baristas were very friendly. The young lady who helped me was not familiar with cortados, but she was willing to give it a try. She did great. The espresso to milk ratio was perfect. The milk was super hot, but a little time walking around the shop before sipping fixed that. What a shop!! From jewelry, to clothing, to paint, and stationary; this shop seems to have it all. On top of all the amazingly creative merchandise there is plenty of seating. I am very glad I finally visited this shop! Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

Plain Jane on the outside, great tacos on the inside! I found myself in Bristow around lunch time…read moreand I'm always up for a good taco. A quick search showed numerous joints so I picked one close with a high Google rating - Taqueria Rancho El Milagro. I missed the turn and drove by this place the first time because it's disguised as a used car shop. Well, rather, it shares a building and lot with a used car shop, and I was a bit worried as I parked the car. Walking in revealed a surprise -- a casual and cozy interior with no hint of what automotive mayhem might be happening on the other side of the kitchen wall. The menu was bilingual and there was a board with the daily specials of the week. Thursday is costillo de puerco en salsa verde -- pork ribs in green sauce. I didn't see the sign before ordering, but even if I had, I wanted tacos. My one complaint is that all the prices on the boards are taped over. They must be redoing the pricing. I asked the woman behind the register and she confirmed the taco price: $3.75 each. I ordered 1 carne asada and 1 al pastor. The order took some time, but I could hear the sound of metal spatulas clanging against the griddle as the meat was being cooked. The tacos arrived unadorned. But that's what the salsa bar is for! It had a wide variety of accoutrements including cilantro, pico de gallo, white onions, cucumbers, red radishes, 3 salsas, and some type of escabeche. After garnishing my tacos, I took a closer look. Instead of the standard two (or even one, at some lesser establishments) corn tortillas pulled from a steamer, these tacos came with an obviously handmade one of slightly thicker stock. It was light, soft, and a bit fragile, but it did a fine job -- a welcome change from the standard pre-made ones. The flavor on each of the tacos was great. A bit salty, but with the right garnish and a little lime juice to cut in, they ended up delicious. I didn't order a drink, but they did have a selection of 3 aguas frescas which I'll probably order the next time I'm back. I'll have to find a reason to drive out to Bristow again, and it might be a Tuesday to get my fix for multiple $2.00 Taco Tuesday tacos al pastor.

The default vanilla latte isn't overly sweet, which is good. The regular latte is pretty well pulled. Not over extracted, but a little too much milk for my preference. My wife had an English muffin with an egg. It tasted as good as a 2 ingredient dish could taste. Or at least those 2 ingredients. My raspberry crumble was also good, but could have used more raspberry. I prefer to taste the raspberry as the predominant flavor and in this bar it was a bit masked by the crumble. Still enjoyable though. It's a bit tight inside and typical of an independent coffee shop. Wooden floors and something to look at wherever you turn. Definitely a decent place to grab a cup of coffee if you are in old town. We haven't been here in the evening, it they do have a decent beer list for later in the day.

We usually stop by every other week as my kids and husband are getting their haircut at the old town man cave. It is definitely a staple in old town, Manassas. The service is always amazing. The staff is always so nice and so kind and considerate. I enjoy going in there and getting a chance to talk to them and everything too. The ambience is amazing because it's decorated with local artists and letting them sell their designs in the shop. It's the perfect little hometown right here in old town.
