I first heard about this place from a friend who lives in Tucson but didn't give much thought to it until I actually saw the restaurant a few months ago while I was at another store in the shopping center. After multiple visits, I can conclude that I enjoy more of their cold sandwiches than their grilled/hot ones. My top three picks in no particular order would be the Baggin's club, high Baggin's, and the chicken rojo. All are different in their own way, but what they do have in common is that they are jam packed with ingredients and bursting in flavor. I haven't tried all their soups and sides yet but from what I've tried so far, I would say the tomato basil bisque has been my favorite. It accompanies well with many sandwiches I've had. The only thing I didn't care for much from here were any of the sandwiches with chicken. Their chicken was a bit too dry for my preferences. So far, I've yet to have a bad experience here. The staff are always warm, friendly, and patient. They try to get your orders out in a timely manner, but they do get busy at times. I usually take my food to go but they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options if you want to dine in.

I go back to what normally comes on it this goes back and forth for a minute and finally I just say I'm asking for recommendations I'm tired and brain dead and just want a sandwich (I don't really care what all went on it) so she goes well you could have started by saying "Hi" it's easy .. sarcastically says "communication" Like first of all I'm not required to say hello for you To do your job .. which I'm pretty sure I did say hi maybe just not very loud I'm generally super nice Second when I said I've never been here what normally goes on it she could have been like oh well most people get x y and Z .. or even w x might be good on it ... so finally she says do you want the works (everything) I said sure .. she said are you ok with a little heat I say yes .. it was the spiciest sandwich maybe even spiciest meal I've ever had in my life (I haves pretty high tolerance for spice ) I think she added way to much spicy on purpose because she was clearly mad "I didn't say hi" .. At this one, the mural is awesome -- it pays homage to vehicles from past television shows. (See how many you recognize! I laughed pretty hard at Thomas the Tank Engine since I watched that with my kids.) I am on a quest to try every sandwich from the Cheba Hut menu and I have worked my way through most of the main menu. I am mostly finishing up the vegetarian section before hitting the grilled cheese. (Peanut butter and honey on wheat is great, BTW!) I mention this because there is a "Secret Stash" menu and this shop features the "Bikini Bottom." When I ordered it, the cashier got excited because, "nobody orders that one!" Apparently, I am that guy. The Bikini Bottom: cream cheese, turkey, onions, pineapple, strawberry jelly, provolone, and bacon. I had it on the Parmesan herb bread with the jalapeño cream cheese option and it was quite tasty. I don't know what is wrong with people :D It is too bad that this location is so far from where I live, but it is nice to know that it is here for when I am far from home and need a "toasted" sandwich. Oh, don't forget the Kool-Aid! (Grape, Blue and Red)

I always crave a sub sandwich for lunch on the weekends and like trying new places around me. I…read morestumbled upon Grocery Station on Yelp and figured I'd give it a try. The inside is a convenience store with a deli counter and a few tables if you'd like to eat there. They have a wide variety of sandwich options, so there should be something for everyone. The convenience store also has a good selection of drinks, snacks, and alcohol. I ordered a club sub with provolone added and no veggies. My order was ready within just a few minutes, which was great when grabbing a quick lunch. The sub was simple, fresh, and tasted good. That said, I was expecting a little more meat for a $13 sandwich. It wasn't skimpy, but it didn't feel like the portion quite matched the price. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch and would consider stopping by again if I was in the area, but it's not a place I'd go out of my way to visibt.

It's a limited grocer, deli and seems to have gas station choices. Which means they have a little bit of everything. Beer, wine, chips, candy, soda drinks. Service: Its owner operated. There were 2 young gentleman working. I ordered a hot Beefstrami sandwich. Employe did recommend. You can make a value meal for $2.49, which includes either macaroni salad, potato salad or pasta salad, chips & a drink. I only wanted 1/2 sandwich. It was around $9. Service was fine, nothing over the top. They have a great selection of sandwiches hot & cold. Boars Head meat & cheese. I got it to go. They did have minimal seating, outside the front of store. Conclusion: Sandwich was tasty, sub roll was burnt but a good amount of beef & pastrami, pickles, cheddar cheese, mayo & mustard. I want to try their Ruben next.

The banana hazelnut latte was great! I am not a huge fan of overly sweet drinks, so I asked for half sweet and it was perfect for me. The Cali bagel sandwich looked delicious and was packed with fresh ingredients. They were not skimping on the fillings. My only suggestion would be to add a little more seasoning or something to give it a bit more flavor, as it tasted slightly bland to me. The pepperoni pizza bagel was good and pretty straightforward. It is a classic combination. My friend and I both thought it would be especially good with some hot honey drizzled on top or served on the side for dipping. The mozzarella stick bagel was a limited time item, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, this was probably my least favorite of everything we ordered. I am not sure if ours happened to be overcooked, but the fried outer part of the bagel was extremely chewy, almost leathery. The mozzarella inside the bagel did not seem fresh, and the cheese was not really melted. This may have just been an off batch, but I won't get it again. Now for the absolute star of the visit: the strawberry shortcake blinged out cream cheese bagel. This was perfection. It was creamy, had the perfect amount of sweetness. Absolutely delicious This was easily my favorite. The restaurant itself is very spacious, with lots of seating indoors as well as an enclosed outdoor seating area. It has a cute, trendy atmosphere and seems like a great spot to hang out and enjoy brekkie/brunch/lunch. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was great overall. One small thing I noticed was tables were being cleaned pretty slowly when we were there. Overall, I had a decent first experience! I would definitely come back and try more of the drinks and menu items. will update my review once I have had the chance to try more
