I am also in love with the ambiance and vibe of this place. It's very cozy inside!! Food was nice and warm, soda machine had syrup in it, all utensils were restocked, and staff was cleanly. I am a stickler about people changing gloves when making my food, and they were very nice and even offered to wipe down the station for me. 10/10

I go back to what normally comes on it this goes back and forth for a minute and finally I just say I'm asking for recommendations I'm tired and brain dead and just want a sandwich (I don't really care what all went on it) so she goes well you could have started by saying "Hi" it's easy .. sarcastically says "communication" Like first of all I'm not required to say hello for you To do your job .. which I'm pretty sure I did say hi maybe just not very loud I'm generally super nice Second when I said I've never been here what normally goes on it she could have been like oh well most people get x y and Z .. or even w x might be good on it ... so finally she says do you want the works (everything) I said sure .. she said are you ok with a little heat I say yes .. it was the spiciest sandwich maybe even spiciest meal I've ever had in my life (I haves pretty high tolerance for spice ) I think she added way to much spicy on purpose because she was clearly mad "I didn't say hi" .. I left feeling like I just ate at Dicks last resort and almost had to google if they are supposed to be rude to you here

Brody is the coolest guy we have ever met at a Cheba Hut. Wish he was chillin with us every time. So glad we met Brody. So Kali Mist is our GO TO but next time we are trying the Death Star.

All of their subs are very creative and filled with fresh ingredients. The one thing that brings me back is the way they develop the sauces that bring perfect balance and complement the sub. The subs are always toasted to perfection. Cheba Hut is far superior to the soggy subs you get at Subway and a huge step above every sub shop that fills their subs with watery salty sauces and flavorless fillings. We sat down at the bar to eat and were greeted by Brody. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and shared some good combinations as well as his recommendations. We sat down and sipped on Papago orange blossom beer and Huss Scottsdale blonde beers as we enjoyed our subs. Brody then told us about Mario Kart racing and we were confused at first but then realized that when you sit at the bar they have controllers and you can play Mario Kart while you eat. The place was not packed due to being on a weekday so we got to play games while enjoying the evening. Brody also gave us recommendations and told us about the area and the breweries in the area. He is a fantastic asset to Cheba Hut and a rising star. Thank you Cheba Hut cooks, and chefs for your amazing sandwiches, and thank you Brody for making our evening flow and relaxing. We will be coming back to this location again when in town to visit you.

The Delicatessen on Tatum is the kind of place that tricks you into thinking you're just grabbing…read more"something quick," and then you're standing in a Sunday 11am line staring at the menu like it's a Netflix queue--too many good options, not enough stomach capacity. You order first and then find a seat, so it's a little bit of a shuffle, but the woman behind the counter was genuinely helpful with recommendations and what's popular. And once we ordered, the food came out pretty fast. We kicked things off with the Big Dill appetizer, and when they say "giant," they're not kidding. It's a comically large pickle, seasoned up and cut into four spears. The seasoning was actually really good, nice flavor, the right amount of spice. I'll be honest: I'm not a huge pickle person, so I didn't fall in love... but if you are a pickle person, this is absolutely your moment. I tried the brunch burrito and it was a solid portion, filling, well-built, and the avocado salsa helped a lot (I was using it like a cheat code). The only reason I wouldn't come back specifically for that burrito is the flavors didn't really pop for me, and I wished the potatoes had more crisp and there was more seasoning on the eggs. It wasn't bad at all just not a "I'm still thinking about this tomorrow" type of burrito. The drinks though? Really unique, I had the French toast latte and the banana hazelnut latte, and they serve them in this super cool commercial can sealer setup. It's such a clever touch as if your coffee came with packaging confidence. Better yet, the lattes were actually delicious and you could taste the quality of the beans underneath the flavors. We also tried the Philly cheesesteak, and it's a BIG sandwich on what tastes like a homemade sesame hoagie. The "shaved ribeye" looked more like finely chopped/ground ribeye, but honestly... it worked. It tasted great with the cheese sauce and hit the spot. The fries that came with it were steak fries, cooked to perfection, with a few extra-crispy pieces mixed in (which is basically the fry jackpot). And then there was the avocado + burrata bagel... which might be the best bagel I've ever had and I don't say that lightly. The everything bagel was fresh, toasted perfectly, and the toppings blended together so well that every bite somehow got better than the last. I also tried the lox and it was worth the money, generous smoked salmon, capers, tomato, the whole deal. Bottom line: there's a lot to love here, and it's going to take me a few more visits to work through all the menu items that look worth trying. Come hungry, expect a line at peak brunch, and don't leave without that avocado burrata bagel (and maybe one of those sealed lattes, because it's just fun).

I was excited to not only see a new Chef Joey concept, but especially a new bagel joint in the…read morearea. For our bagel, we ordered an everything bagel with charcuterie cream cheese, which I can best describe as everything but the kitchen sink - capicola, mortadella, salami, provolone, artichokes, tomoatoes, roasted peppers, pepperocini, olives and red onion - all chopped up and mixed into the cream cheese. Somehow it all seems to work in terms of flavor, but as for the bagel itself I wish it were a bit bigger and had more chew, although it was decent. The biggest disappointment was with our cinnamon roll and coffees. They were out of the regular cinnamon roll so we ordered the salted caramel one. The sad part was it was cold. I mean who wants a cold cinnamon roll, even the one at Cinnabon is warm. As for the coffees, we ordered the banana hazelnut and strawberry matcha. We assumed the coffees would be hot but were given iced coffees. Only later we noticed they can be ordered either hot or iced, and wished the server had asked for our preference. As for the iced coffees, I'm not quite sure I understand the whole concept of putting them in soda cans, as the foam got stuck to the top of the can and all the flavor sank down to the bottom.
