I visited the Stafford location after placing a pickup order. Both drinks were inaccurately made. I went inside informed the employee. She said nothing but took the drinks and dumped them and then made the order over the correct way. There was no apology at all. After receiving my order I said thank you with no response so I said thank you again. Still no response. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!!! This was the strangest experience I've ever had. Everything we ordered was made incorrectly. First my Thai chicken salad came out hot. The lettuce was hot and soggy. I went back in to ask about it and was told she could only heat up the chicken if she put the whole salad in the oven. No solutions were offered so I left without it. I showed up to this location at 8:40 PM, now I understand that last-minute customers are really annoying, however, still 20 minutes left. I ordered a smoothie and a kids quesadilla for my daughter, and they told me I could not get a kids quesadilla, because they stop serving food 20 minutes before they close. So I asked if I had been here one minute ago you could've given me food and she said yes, it was ridiculous. I only come to this one because it's close to where I work but sometimes I drive to the one down Hwy 6 because at least I know I'll get half way decent customer service and it won't take an absorbent amount of time to get my food. The food here is subpar compared to other locations. Ingredients are seemingly just tossed on by workers (which doesn't surprise me because there's always attitude). This place just opened yesterday and I had to stop by to check it owt! I needed a place to grab a quick healthy bite and it's been on my radar as I've been stalking it since I saw the sign out front. I think I have found my new favorite spot. Let me break it down! Ambiance: 5/5 the place is clean, bright atmosphere, plenty of seating and plenty of room to move around. Restrooms are clean and well kept. The food preparation area looks neat and organized. Service: great! I was greeted many times upon entering. Multiple patrons came to me several times to make sure I had what I needed. The lady at checkout made it a point to remember my name and brought my food at with a smile. She was so helpful I really wish I remembered her name - I think I wIll go by tomorrow and find out - she really made my experience awesome. The owners were there too and very approachable and friendly, they spent a good amount of time chatting with dining guests and playing with the children. Food: (I really didn't expect food nor did I expect it to be so good!) Three cheese quesadilla 5/5 - soft ooey gooey and a great vegetarian option for me. Next time I'll try the Island Chicken quesadilla without the meat, that had black beans in it, yum! The salsa is warm and really makes the whole dish wonderful. Chicken Ceasar Salad: 5/5 the greens are a mix of romaine, spinach and kale. Really healthy mix. I opted to take chicken out. Ranch dresssing was again delicious. Snickerdoodle Cookie: 10/5 addictive. Drink: Island Detox Smoothie: very healthy blend of kale, spinach, mango, ginger and pineapple. Definitely gave me a tropical vibe. I even added chia for a kick. No artificial sweeteners. Tasted sooooo healthy - like I was adding years to my life with every sip. Didn't taste artificial or medicinal like some smoothies shops I dare not name. And it was affordable. Major key! The sweetest thing was they left me the cutest little message on my cup with a stick woman that looked like she won a million bucks (that's my perception lol) I definitely felt like I won a million buck drinking that smoothie. Smoothies are life. However, this is not just a smoothie store, like Smoothie King or Jamba Juice, they actually have real food. (Not superfood, chips, and oatmeal and call it a day. I'm looking at you Jamba Juice.) They have an assortment of sandwiches and meals to complement your smoothie. Now, if you want the plain old super food smoothie, hey it's good, you can do that too. But I like that they realize not everyone can survive off smoothies alone. The inside of the store is very clean, cute, and spacious for friends trying to avoid the bar scene, but not trying to throw down $30 for a meal. This is a nice in between place. I'm pretty sure they only sell one size smoothie, XXL, but usually they are so good it doesn't matter. They have a drive through, which you won't notice when driving down 90/South Main, so keep that in mind. The service their was also fantastic. As for the flavors, I went for the things that I liked the most. Mangos. Peaches. They all have weird names I can't keep up with, but if you stick with a smoothie with fruits you generally enjoy, you'll love it. So, I wouldn't get the Mango Magic or Peaches and Silk if you're averse to those fruits, but with all the combinations, you're bound to find something you like. I just know for now, I'm sticking with those two and will branch out to the other ones, as time allows, because the Mango one was delicious. read more

Hello. I need I need to understand why the Missouri City Texas location is the only tropical Cafe that does not have blueberries... STILL. Every other location I have visited since have offered drinks with blueberries and this one still has not. I was told by the Sugar Land location that all the tropical smoothie cafes should have access to blueberries and be able to sell drinks with blueberries and this is literally the only location 3 weeks now after they have received the go-ahead that is not able to serve drinks with blueberries. Outside of that this location is serviced by Young individuals at the drive-thru Lane and they're quite unprofessional. They're usually lollygagging or extremely passive and or apathetic when they open the window and stare blankly at you. Wait was long. Ordered the mango smoothie and kids berry smoothies (not the menu item names). Our smoothies were good w the mango being the best of the lot. For food we ordered the chicken pesto flatbread, jerk chicken quesadilla and Buffalo chicken bowl. With the exception of the flat bread the chicken in the rest of the items was obviously defrosted and had strange chewy bits. The Buffalo chicken bowl was not great, small portion of chicken and sauce was subpar. Nothing memorable here. The chicken pesto flatbread was definitely our favorite. One worker finally located my food which had been sitting unlabeled for the 20 minutes as I was waiting. One associate remade the order (his choice) I patiently waited. I usually go here with my young daughter, but probably won't go to that location anymore. The music selection was completely inappropriate for a public place, especially for kids or families. I Shazammed the two songs that played while I was there. The first song was Mr. Pot Scraper by Boss Man Dlow which was full of cuss words and other vile words that shouldn't be casually listened to at a smoothie store. My experience at TSC was extremely disappointing. I ordered an Açaí bowl, but instead of receiving my order, they mistakenly gave it to another customer who left with it. It wasn't until that customer returned and pointed out the error that I realized what had happened. The worker then retrieved the previously taken order and handed it to me, which was unacceptable considering it had already left the premises and was brought back. I asked to remake it and they said okay. When they gave it to me the lid wasn't even properly closed, indicating that it was likely the same bowl that had been taken to the customer's car and then returned. read more

Yesterday, I ordered 2 açaí bowls online to the STAFFORD TX location after going to the Missouri city location and they didn't have any bowls. I called first to make sure they had bowls and the young lady who answered confirmed they did but that the front door was closed until 3pm so I'd have to place the order and come through the drive through. When I arrived at 2:40 there was a car in the drive through sitting for a while so I decided to try the door and was able to go inside despite just being told that I wouldn't be able to. Then once I got the bowls they barely put any peanut butter and honey on it that I paid extra for and I had to go inside to ask for more and got attitude about it from the manager and then the açaí was watery and tasted like pickle juice, just nasty. I went back in and expressed this to the manager who said she just got there and there was nothing she could do so I asked for a refund and she said they don't issue refunds again with an attitude as she's in her bonnet. We frequent the Missouri city location often and have had great experiences. This was just all around awful. I threw both in the trash inside the store and am requesting a full refund. I've submitted many complaints via their website but haven't gotten a response as of yet. read more

I've been here several times and usually satisfied with my purchase. However today was not the day. Yay for healthy option on this strip of the road! I was so excited to see the sign pop up about their opening and so far, it has not disappoint. We stopped be on their grand opening to give it a try and the smoothies were on point. My favorite is the peaches and silk. They have a current spot light on Dragon Fruit Smoothie and my husband likes that one. They have food and snacks as well. Havent gotten to try the food at this location as we have been stopping by after dinner for a smoothie. Place is clean and bright. Seating at tables and high tops. The most amazing thing IMO? DRIVE THRU! LOVE that option, especially me having little kids. I always want a smoothie but always have to get my selection based on having to get out for the car with my little rascals.
