My Love always says "Rib tips and fries for the win!" And it doesn't get better in Boynton than Troy's! Also there's a twisted lemonade on their drink menu (no alcohol) and not only is the drink GORGEOUS , but it was delicious! Their yams are another of my particular favorite! The drive through service is always friendly and fast!

Troy's Barbecue in Boynton Beach offers a cozy, homey atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We wasn't sure about what we wanted to eat after our hair appointment and stumbled across this place by passing by. I ordered the brisket with mac & cheese and collard greens, which came with an unexpected side of rice. The portions were generous, justifying the slightly higher prices. My sister chose the 10 wings with fries, opting for buffalo sauce on the side, while I enjoyed spicy and honey barbecue sauces with my brisket. The brisket was perfectly cooked--tender and flavorful--and the macaroni and cheese was a standout, creamy and rich. However, the collard greens were a bit over-seasoned, with salt, though it still had a nice flavor. The cornbread was a delightful addition, warm and slightly sweet. They accept Apple Pay/credit cards and ofc course cash. Overall, I'd rate Troy's a solid 10 out of 10 and would definitely return for more of their delicious barbecue!

BBQ!!! ***drools*** I can't tell you how long it's been since I've had BBQ, but sure why not pick the hottest day of summer to check it off the list. I remember this place when it was just a small neighborhood spot, in a shack with a cooker outside, that simply smelled to-die-for. They changed to a store front a long time ago, hopefully it gets them the exposure they most definitely deserve! Came here with my boss and was ready to absolutely FEAST. Troys didn't let us down! I got the pulled pork sandwich with a sweet and hot sauce that topped it. The sandwich only came with 1 side, got the collard greens, but the longer I stood in front of the glass while the gentleman fixed my sandwich the lingering smell of candies yams hit my nostrils, I HAD to add it on. My boss got the Brisket dinner. We were drooling waiting for our food! Once we sat down it only took us but a few minutes to completely annihilate our food!! We were both pleasantly fat and stuffed sitting there looking at the chaos we made of our plates. Honestly some of the best BBQ I've had. The staff here is so friendly and courteous. I can't wait to come back and try the ribs....*loosens belt on pants*.....it's worth the added weight lol

Was looking for a midday snack and wound up going through the drive-through here. Settled on the snack side of the menu Erich had all white meat chicken and fries for $12. It cane with the sweet sauce on the side or spicy was available. The chicken had a great smoky and charred flavor and it was a huge portion. The sweet sauce was pretty perfect for dipping and the fries were decent enough. Would definitely return.

It's good food , but need to pay attention to how the restaurant looks inside you kind of get a dirty feeling when you go inside.

It had a lot of flavor but was a little less spicy than what I'm used to. I normally love spicy food, but honestly it was a nice change. My mom tried the radish kimchi too and said it was really good. We used to go to the Lauderhill location for about 4 years before they closed, and their kimchi was THE BEST, so we definitely had something to compare this to lol. The kimchi here had a very similar flavor and honestly that alone made us happy. I'd come back just for the kimchi. The servers were really nice and even put the first serving of pork belly on the grill for us. The pork belly was cooked perfectly, and they do have lettuce wraps too, they're just not shown in my picture. The pork & beef gyoza were delicious too. They do have vegetables inside as well, and I'd recommend asking for them extra crispy. They come with a sweet sauce instead of soy sauce, so if you want soy sauce just ask them for some and a little cup. Something that surprised me was that they have chimichurri here. The Lauderhill location was more traditional, so I wasn't expecting that at all, but I gave it a try and that thing was DELICIOUS with the pork belly. All of the banchan we tried were really good too. The food in general tasted very authentic and had that real Korean flavor we were hoping for. After going to the Lauderhill location for so many years, this was probably the biggest thing for us. The owners have definitely managed to make the food taste like a little piece of Korea. One little thing I noticed once we stepped inside was the display by the counter with Terra beer, different kinds of soju, and Milkis. There's also a nice drawing toward the back with the Korean flag. We drove about an hour to come here and honestly we'd do it again. After going to the Lauderhill location for 4 years, we were really hoping the food here would hit the same way, and it definitely didn't disappoint. Worth the drive.

We got the pulled pork sandwich, (the only tolerable item to eat) and the 2 meat combo with brisket & ribs. The sides were corn bread l, Mac & beans. The brisket was so dry, as shown in the photo and the ribs couldn't even been chewed off or cut off if we tried. They have two bbq sauces a smoked bbq sauce and a mustard sauce. No plain or basic bbq sauces. That could have made the pork a bit better. The Mac n cheese was good but came out cold. The beans tasted odd, then I looked at the menu and saw that they were vegetarian. Interesting. Lastly the cornbread... I couldn't believe it. It was soaked in some kind of hunny sauce. That was so sweet, if it was just the cornbread it would have tasted better. This is a hard pass. Sorry. Way too many places around to get good bbq.

He got the pulled pork with collard greens and beans. He liked it all. I tried his sides and they were great. I got the small brisket platter. There were only two slices of meat on the plate -- looked quite skimpy especially after removing the fatty edge. The meat was a bit dry and needed help -- by adding some of the sweet bbq sauce. I wouldn't order the brisket again. For my sides, I got the shells Mac n cheese. That was creamy. I liked it. And I got the sticky corn bread. That was a bit too sweet. I'd get it plain next time, if I got it again. We shared a sweet tea. I didn't care for it at all. There was so much honey flavor in it that it was almost thick and cloying. Not refreshing at all. I'd get a soda next time. For someone who loves sweet, I was surprised to ever find "too sweet" in my vocabulary. But I'd definitely come back to try the ribs or the pork. The pastrami sounds intriguing, but they don't always have it and it's not available on a set schedule. I asked about it and was told to call to see if they had it that day. But the lemony collards and beans will definitely be added into my future visit.

Our server continually forgot things throughout the meal. He forgot to pick up our beer from the bar for about 10 minutes, forgot lemons for our tea, forgot a side of cornbread, and a few other items. It made the meal feel a little disorganized. We ordered the ribs, wings, and Brunswick stew, and everything we had was delicious. The food definitely remains a highlight and is why we keep coming back. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed when I used the restroom on my way out. It was very messy and looked like it needed a deep cleaning, along with some general maintenance. Overall, the food was great as always, but the service and condition of the restroom took away from what could have been a much better experience. We'll still be back because the food keeps us coming!

There was an excessively loud table to our side and nobody used their "indoor voices". But it seemed every table was a bit loud and maybe it was because there are a lot of tvs and I know people were vocal while watching whatever was on. Your food is packed to go which worked out as we brought a few things home. They do a lot of takeout, obviously. My husband got a pulled pork sandwich. I got the rib sandwich. We shared a small order of baked beans. And he also got some banana pudding. His pulled pork was tender. He added some of their sweet sauce to taste. Ate every bit. My rib sandwich was also very good. I had it open faced. Didn't even need to add sauce. And brought a couple ribs home. The baked beans were fantastic. Nice bits of meat and great flavor. The pudding was my least favorite -- I only had a taste, but too many cookies for me. We even got to meet Howard. He came out to check all was good. And later he said hi to a few of his regular customers. He told us everything is "house" made. What a nice touch to meet the chef/founder! I now know where we will come when we have a bbq craving.
