I really enjoyed the brisket but the ribs were dry and everyone was raving about the Mac and cheese however i felt the noodles were over done. I also had conch fritters but not much conch in it. It was a Saturday night and me and my friends were going to see a movie. We met up at Troy's BBQ beforehand and had a great experience. I recently had to give up eating meat so to me it was such a tease to watch my friends devour their delicious looking ribs and pulled pork sandwiches, but I was looking forward to trying their sides and conch fritters. The 4 of us were eating when a good looking young man approached our table and started talking to us. He recognized one of my friends from a previous time she had been there, she's the one who recommended us the place. He was the owner of Troy's BBQ and was very nice and welcoming. He gave us travel tips and told us about a few of his experiences abroad. While we talked, I enjoyed my conch fritter, some cornbread and sweet potatoes. The conch fritter was a little greasy but it was delicious! The cornbread was probably the best cornbread I've ever had, super moist, soft, and just left me wanting more. The sweet potato was like Thanksgiving in my mouth! I was so excited I even forgot to take a picture of my food!! The portions are big so two of my friends had leftovers. After enjoying our meals we carried on with our night to the movies with full bellies! Whenever in Boynton l definitely recommend checking this place out. read more

I like the fact that they moved in to a new location. So, gave this place a 2nd. chance (1st. time was nothing special). The brisket at Troys is so damn perfect that calling this brisket only does a disservice to the customer. My recommendation to Troys is that they rename this "MEAT CANDY." It is not just any old brisket. It's MEAT CRACK. Slow smoked for 24 hours folks. TWENTY-FOUR freaking hours. I literally just had the brisket yesterday (my 3rd time this week), and I was walking out of Publix across the street, smelled the smoke, and made a beeline to troys. I have eaten at Troy's since they opened in Boynton Beach. Everything used to be great. Last two times the ribs are barely chewable and the brisket was one piece of meat with 3 slices of just fat for $29 I will never be coming after these last two experiences. Been going to Troys since they were in that little red shack by Martin Luther King Blvd. The ribs, collard greens and yams are the best combination. The brisket is my second favorite. Not sure if they serve the conch fritters anymore, but they were delicious. The minute you walk in you smell the food so if you had one thing in mind going in, you might change your order just to get something different. As far as food trucks go..troys is tops! I was cooking ribs at home in my crock pot and told troy that jokingly and said I bet they wont be as good as yours. Troys ribs are cooked in a kettle drum bar b que cooker. You cant get any better than that. I ordered two sides (mac and cheese and collard greens) and they were both good. I forgotto ask for vinegar for my greens and they were both large plastic containers. Enough to feed 3 people with medium portions. I dug right in! Yep Im a fan. Troy was super cool and when he brought out my sides in a paper bag with napkins he put down a sample basket (three) of ribs! What a smooth move! First off...this place makes you feel at home. The food, the food, THE FOOD is DELICIOUS! We had a party of 8 go into the establishment to eat and the staff made us feel welcome as if we were family. First thing i noticed was the old school music vibe new edition and mj to be exact. It has a nice bbq picnic atmosphere unlike most bbq joints.
