While I've been a Tru Bru enthusiast since I was a kid, they've definitely outgrown their current spot and the popularity has somewhat gotten in the way of the quality service. This used to be my study spot with my friends years ago and unfortunately now when I come into town to visit, there's never anywhere to sit at any time of day. I love that's it's gained popularity but it's definitely in need of a new spot or bigger space. The wait for two chai lattes was 20 minutes which felt a bit unreasonable. And since the place is so tiny I had nowhere to sit and was constantly having to move out of peoples ways. It really lost its quaint and cozy feel that had me coming nearly every week. The drinks are still incredible and I love the food but I gravitate here less because it lost its small cafe charm and quick service it used to have. Hoping they relocate to a space that suits their needs as a lot of customer we're having to wait excessive amounts of time and move around constantly to get out of the way. read more

Terrible costumer service! Was handed the wrong number for our food. I saw our food go to another table. It was there for a fat while. The food was brought back to kitchen. So I went and told the cashier our food was taking too long and I wanted my money back. They were gonna give me the plated food that had the run around and cold by now. As they were giving me my $ back I was told I took the wrong number. YOU GAVE ME THE NUMBER! So I asked, "Did the table who was brought my food take the wrong number too? Sooooo rude!!!!! I love Tru Bru. But they have become a chain now. The original location up here in Orange is still my favorite. The coffee is still solid in the service is still good although I will say it's very hard to get a table here at any time of the day, but you notice when restaurants become more successful and they turn into multi locations, they do things like get rid of the beautiful roasted red breakfast potatoes they had for breakfast and serve frozen fried diced potatoes which suck. They did it at Panini kebab Café where my son works and now they did it here. I still love you Tru Bru but my heart is saddened. read more

TruBru is a place i have come to for years. The food has always been great and consistent. We'll, I am not a regular but I have been coming here long enough to know that it's a spot where your treated as family. My last two visits have not been what TruBru is known for. The food was a bit pricey, but I guess that's what I get for going to Orange Park Acres. I ordered the burger and it was pretty good. My biggest complaint is that the only menu is a peice of paper right in front of the register. Would appreciate if I didn't have to read the entire menu while everyone waits behind me in line. Very good! The salmon bagel is delicious, with pickle and onion to top it off. Also, the toast with cream cheese and avocado on it is also good. But, it is a little pricey!! I got the mango smoothie, mocha iced coffee and pancakes. The smoothie was really refreshing, the mocha coffee was really good and tasty not too sweet not too bitter. Cozy cafe with easy parking and plentiful seating. I came at 8:30am on a weekday and it was very busy with a lot of people chatting and eating. Also they do play very loud christian music. So not the best study environment but good if you are ok with noise. Wifi is pretty good. Also right when you walk in it does smell strongly of cleaning stuff. I got the matcha which is made from actual matcha from japan and it was pretty good! The pastries also look like they're house made but I haven't tried it so can't speak to that much. read more

This cafe doesn't have even ONE vegan option. Not even garbanzo beans. They only have dead animals for protein, and look at you like you're speaking a foreign language if you ask for a vegan option. the manu is priced lower than the charging amount. as we noticed, we did mention it and asked for correction. the person on the register said there is nothing I can do. we asked for manager and came back without the manager and responded with that he can not do the adjustment either. for two breakfast items they over charged $1.14; certainly adds up with so many orders each day and month. it is unfortunate to experience such action and the denial of an adjustment that they refused to. read more

Stopped by at 10a.m. on a Saturday and this place was packed. We waited in line for a while and it took another 20 minutes before we got our drink. I ordered a small hot Latte ($4.50) and although the latte didn't have any latte art like the ones I see here on Yelp, it tasted really good. Smooth and aromatic, it was a very good tasting latte. I get it, they were probably too busy to pour a latte art when I came in, but it would have been nice considering how long of a wait it took to get a drink. It was so busy in here that I probably wouldn't come back again simply because I don't think it was worth the wait and personally, I don't like being crowded with so many people. Stopped by here for some coffee. Big outdoor plaza with spread out parking. Everyone was so friendly here! I told them it was my first time and asked what's best here, the lady mentioned she loves their chai and used to always come here for it before working here. I decided to go with that and added a shot of espresso to it. It was really good! A tad sweet, so I would probably get it less sweet next time.
